[Review] Leejiham Tea Tree 90 Essence

Share it Please

LEEGEEHAM is no stranger when it comes to skincare, they are one of the popular skincare brands in Korea. I was lucky enough to get an opportunity to review there ever popular Tea Tree 90 Essence which has been a cult favorite product for years and has been featured in many magazines and beauty blogs

I got into a small skincare related accident/ adverse reaction a couple of days back due to my own negligence( didn't read Te label of an acid toner carefully and ended up damaging my skin) my skin was red and blotchy and there was swelling I was afraid that this reaction will darken my skin over time due to chemical burns.  my skin has reached a point where injuries/wounds leave hyper pigmented scars. So a frantic search through my skincare stash o found the  Leejiham Tea Tree 90 Essence and has a lot of claims to sooth the skin and reduce irritation that i decided to take the risk and apply it to my face. And was so surprised when this actually  saved my skin and helped it calm down. It reduced the redness and reduced the flare up on my skin. My skin is better now thankfully

Tea tree is actually quite popular agent for acne and inflammation and this essence contains 90% tea tree 🙆. I have been eyeing a lot of tea tree skincare products fro a fairly long time and I am so happy that I tried this out

The vial is a frosted white glass and has such a cute small glass dropper to dispense product. Its does not smells like tea tree though which disappointed me a tiniest bit ( I love the scent of tea tree its so refreshing). this contains 50 ml product which may seem little as this essence a tad bit on the expensive side but no worries as 2-3 drop are sufficient to cover the whole face

the texture is very thin and light weight so it absorbs into the skin after a couple of pats. I usually take 3 drops of this and pat it onto the chin and cheeks (places where i get most acne) hyper pigmentation or blemishes. It looks luminous and healthy

My skin produces less oil every time I apply this to my face. This is a morning time essence for me as my skin produces most oil during the day. Serums /essence like these are best for people who have oily/ acne prone skin. I am very impressed by Tea tree performance and would definitely purchase skincare/ makeup products which contain tea tree as one of their star ingredients

retails for 45$ at Glow recipe website

please note that this is the new packaging of the essence

  1. Sounds like it won't work for me because I've got a dry skin but yes, I do have acne - not a profound problem of mine though. Nice review!
