[Review] TIA'M Vita B3 Source

I started of this year with really bad skin. When I say bad I am talking about massive invasion of pustular acne. It took around 2 weeks for the pus to clear up completely but I was left with the gift of post inflammatory hyperpigmentation that was stubborn and stood out on my face as the red traffic signal. I haven't experience such massive lesions on my face in a really long time so I felt  reclusive . Thankfully the face mask gave me a lot cover and time to heal so I didn't have to rely entirely on make-up

Speaking of makeup, I had to relearn how to do makeup from the scratch. All of the products that I was using on my face became to dry and cakey for my skin. So I had to test out a lot of techniques on how to hydrate and prep skin which had a lot of acne.

A lot of my viewers on Instagram advised me to incorporate Vitamin C serum along with  Niacinamide to clear PIH. After reading multiple reviews I decided to purchase the Tiam Vitamin B3 serum

A skin brightening serum that is infused with highly-concentrated niacinamide and arbutin to blur the appearance of dark spots and correct uneven skin tone.

Also helps minimize the appearance of discoloration for a more radiant looking complexion. Blended with 10% niacinamide to reduce excessive sebum production as well as addressing breakouts.

Major Ingredients:

Water, Niacinamide (10%), Butylene Glycol, Arbutin (2%), Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Lindera Erythrocarpa Extract, Cornus Officinalis Fruit Extract, Geranium Thunbergii Extract, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium Hyaluronate, Methylpropanediol, Laurylpyridinium Chloride, Chlorphenesin, 1,2-Hexanediol

Packaging:

Standard glass vial with a dropper. Usually serum come in 30 ml quantity . But this has 40 ml. There is no plastic stopper so be careful when pulling out the glass pipette

My thoughts

So when I started off I had a lot of PIH on the sides of my face and on my cheeks . Since the weather is cold my skin was rather dry than oily . My pores were pretty prominent and were getting clogged easily

This serum has a water like consistency with a hint of snail mucin slip. It is very easy to spread on the skin and absorbs within a minute completely. I have tried a bunch of niacinamide serum in the past and my main issue with majority of them is the heavy greasy residue on the skin. This on the other hand is like water no tacky or greasy residue

I usually applied this to my face every night before going to bed.

Here is what I noticed on Day 1. My gave looked the same. It was hydrated but I didn't see any gross difference however on Day 3 I noticed that my face look brighter and lively in the morning . After a week of use a lot of the PIH was light and some of the scar marks peeled off. I used this serum consistently along with vitamin C serum ( alternate days ) for thres weeks and my skin looks brighter and the PIH has definitely faded. I haven't noticed any difference with my pores and my skin is not oily at the moment because id weather. I am getting break outs ever now and them but overall it is nothing too massive or prominent. I have already ordered a s second bottle of this serum because I am happy with the results

[Review] Tiam Vitamin Blending Powder

I tried out the tiam signature C source serum and didnt enjoy is as much as my other vitamin C serum because it left a tacky residue on my face but when tiam released the vitamin blending powder I was ready to jump on the bandwagon again and give this newly released product a shot

Special blending powder that transforms your cosmetics into vitamin care products. It’s also a 100% pure vitamin powder with highly concentrated Vitamin C powder that can be absorbed more effectively. Provides an even and clear skintone and also fades pigmentation. It also has powerful antioxidant effects to prevent signs of aging and keeps skin healthy and revitalized

Packaging
A really cute and small plastic bottle containing 10 gms of vitamin powder. The lid shuts really secure so you dont have to fear about powder getting oxidized or effected by humidity ( trust me on this I almost lost my fingernail trying to open the cap ). This packaging makes traveling with the vitamin powder super convenient and easy because this is a multi purpose product. You can create your own customized vitamin serum by mixing it with any hydrating toner of your choice. Use this as a spot treatment for your acne scars. Mix this in with your daily foundation/bb cream for added benefit or create a vitamin sheet mask by sprinkling powder on your regular or compressed sheet mask. the combinations are endless

I found the whole concept of DIY skincare with blending powders unique. You can totally control the amount of powder to your daily need so this makes is friendly for all skin types.

The powder has an off white color and is finely milled. It has a very mild citrusy scent  like fresh oranges (yum) For me the best way to dispense the powder was to tap the bottle gently. On day one of testing out this product I used this as a spot treatment for one of blemishes. I was surprised how the acne scar lightened considerably within a few days. ( you can barely see it now) on day two I proceeded to create a vitamin serum by mixing it with my current favorite toner. The powder dissolved evenly without clumping. I procceded to apply the mixture to my face before going to bed. Even though its mentioned on the box that this powder might sting a little . For me luckily nothing of this sort happened.  There was no tacky residue on my face. The next morning my face looked noticeably brighter. My skin tone looked improved and even.

I have been using this for a week now I am totally head over heals in love with this product. I have increased the amount of powder in my concotions and there is no irritation or rash so far. After trying out the vitamin blend I am tempted to try the centella and arbutin varient as well.

Tiam My Signature A+ cream Review

Formerly known as O.S.T, Tiam is a Korean skincare brand popular in the skincare world for its Original Pure Vitamin C20 serum ( review of the serum will be posted soon). This cream is actually a rebranded version of 9-5 vitamin crema by O.S.T

An intensive hydrating cream that not only moisturizes but brightens skin.
Recharge and renew your skin for a radiant, energized look every day.

[How to use]
Apply evenly and pat over face avoiding eye area to be fully absorbed.
 Use morning and night.
Applying cream after My Signature C Source is highly-recommended
to boost the effectiveness of both items.

Packaging:
Tinted glass jar containing 50ml of cream is enclosed in a red cardboard box.( no spatula provided so don't look for one)
Ingredients:
Water, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Mineral Oil, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Arbutin, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene, Cyclomethicone, Beta-Glucan, Cetearyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Dimethicone, Glyceryl Stearate,
The cream has a gel like texture, it spreads easily on the skin and has a citrusy scent. Though its light weight it takes a little time to absorb into the skin (1-2 mins).Once the cream is fully absorbed into the skin it does not leave a tacky/ oily residue behind.its suggested to use the cream with the serum.I have personally have noticed that the cream  absorbs a lot quicker into the skin when used with the vitamin C serum.
I have reserved this cream for night time skincare routine due to its highly moisturising nature, also I use my vitamin C serum at night. And I feel that the cream delivers maximum benefits when it remains on my skin for longer duration.
Results:  Soft skin which looks relatively brighter and glowy. It refreshes and refines the skin texture and makes the skin look less dull. While the cream has not made much of a difference on my acne scars, it thankfully prevented more acne and pimples from appearing. I personally like this cream and would recommend it for all skin types. Just a little word of advice. If you have oily skin I suggest you use this in small amount and add more if your skin requires as it takes time to absorbs and initially might feel a little heavy on the skin. Would I repurchase?? Yes because I have seen a lot of serums containing vitamin C but not many creams which have Vitamin C as a main ingredient.
