Before I get into showing you the lip colors I have picked for summer let me just say it out loud!! How on earth did the temperature turned 43C in Islamabad it never exceeded more than 38 and the highest that I remember was 40 C. Apocalypse
How is it in your city??

Now on to the post, this year I have been wearing a lot of makeup trends mostly Korean and Japanese. I am also doing a Project Make A Dent in  Makeup so far I have made quite noticeable dents in 4 of my lipstick, used up 2/3 of my daily foundation  and also hit pan on a pressed powder . In case you are interested about details you can read the post here

So keeping up with the hot yet bright and colorful theme of summer I picked out these lip colors for the summer

For an eye-shadow palette that can go well with these bright lipsticks I chose Undress Too palette by MUA which is a very affordable dupe for the infamous Urban Decay Naked 2 palette
It has a perfect combination of glittery and matte shades so you can either go bold or don a very neutral eye look

That’s all girls
Which lip colors do you wear most in summers??

So here is my update on project pan I have been participating

i joined i in early October and have been using these products continuously for three months  here is link if you want to read the previous life update post

As you can see I did pretty good job hitting pan on the eyeshadow palette and blush but I will admit that my whole makeup routine become pretty dull using the same palette for a solid three months.

The lip-balm was fun to use so chances are that I might make another homemade lip-balm soon

Though I used the glossy lip-balm by essence quite often sadly I didn’t made any appreciable progress with it

Concealer by makeup revolution was one product which I used up pretty fast but I wont be purchasing it

As for the iconic pro lipstick by makeup revolution, I just couldn’t finish it up because I like the color a lot so I decided to remain in my makeup stash for another year (I purchased it this year)

It was impossible to use freeman dead see mineral mask twice a week as it leaved my skin over dried in winter so there is still some left in the tube
Will I go for another project pan?? No , For now I will shuffle makeup products in my makeup routine because I am really fed up using the same thing over and over again

mini haul post :

I bought two lipsticks from beautybar.pk their service was quite fast I received my parcel in four days

Both of the lipsticks are from essence one from the matte lipgloss range and the other from the sheer and shine range , I will be posting a review about these soon

That’s all for now

Bye

Hello so this is my first ever life update post I thought I should share what going on in my life lately
I have decided to join the project pan in the beginning of October this year, I have a lot of makeup products that are just lying in the drawer getting closer to their expiration date so to get the best out of each penny I have spent on these products I decided to use them up
I went through all of my makeup and separated some makeup which I know I wont be using, this  mainly constituted of red and bold lipsticks that my mom wont allow me to wear .I gave  5 lipstick and three lip pencils to the lady who comes to clean the room. Also my little sister was looking at my makeup collection with awe stuck expression so I gave her the deluxe Maybelline pressed powder and a nude lipgloss by makeup revolution
After all that I made a list of my makeup inventory

Face Powder: 3
Lipsticks:  11 +chubby lipsticks: 2, liquid lipstick:  1, lip palette: 1
Blush: 3 powder, 1 cream
Eyeshadow palettes: 3
Lip gloss: 5
Mascara:  3
Eye pencils:  6
Lip pencils: 3
Mono eyeshadow: 2
Concealer: 3
Eye-primer: 1
Face primer: 1
Foundation: 2
Eyeliner: 4
Lip balm: 2

For the project pan I have decided to hit pan on 7 beauty/ skin care products by the end of December

Here are the products I will try to finish

The first one is the I heart obsession palette in “pure cult” by makeup revolution. Now this palette is a dupe of UD naked 3 palette it has an array of rose toned eyeshadow. I personally feel that this palette is not for everyone as some of the rose mauve-y shades can give more of a bruised appearance to the eye

My goal is to hit pan on 4 shades on this palette

Second is a lipgloss by essence I bought this in December last year it has sweet taste and imparts a slight reddish tint on the lips. Its not that moisturizing but I wouldn’t mind reapplying this as it has a sweet brownie scent. The black mark shows that how little of it is left in the tube.
It wont take long to finish this lipgloss

I just couldn’t bring myself to purchase the Baby lips lipbalm by Maybelline because I thought it is stupid to dish out 400 rs for a tinted lipbalm so I saw some DIY tutorials on Pintrest and made myself a tinted lipbalm using red lipstick. you can see how much I loved this because this is almost used up

i  have been using concealer  a lot lately i almost finished my becute concealer so i decided to switch to liquid concealer as its easier to blend in winter, i have used about half of it hopefully it will be finished by the end of december

Next is a blush I purchased from a local shop three years ago. it’s a very muted pink color, chalky texture and pigmentation is terrible. I can see the rings of the pan showing up on this blush. I don’t think I will be able to finish this up since I hate this blush, so my goal is to use it till the silver of the pan is visible

Just to make the project enjoyable I decided to add pro iconic lipstick in looking ahead by makeup revolution (a recent purchase). I use this lipstick everyday so I think I might finish it by end of December.

Lastly I have the freeman Dead Sea minerals mask. I bought it 2 years ago. This mask is perfect for oily skin as it absorbs all the oil and makes the pores clean. I enjoyed using this mask but now, I want to finish it and try a different mask from the range perhaps the charcoal one. I did purchase freeman peel of cucumber mask but sadly it didn’t work out with my oily skin.

That’s all. I will update you guys about the progress soon

here i have shared an online store from where you can purchase  onlineBeauty & Cosmetics

Hugs

I have been searching for a blue toned pink blusher for quite sometime so when I spotted this on just4girls.pk website for a meager price of rs 200 I though why not give it a try

Price: pkr 200

Quantity: 2.4gm

Packaging:

Now let me warn you this the packging is very flimsy and liable to break from the hinge(that’s what happened to my blusher)
This pan is quite slim and has a clear lid while the latch is quite secure

About the product:

The blusher is so pigmented ( I don’t have a blush as pigmented as this) one swipe of the brush is enough to apply the required amount for a natural flush of color
The texture of the blusher is smooth it transfers quite evenly and is easy to blend gives a nice wintery flush to the cheeks

Due its good pigmentation this blusher lasted on my cheeks for  six hours which is awesome

I am going to purchase more shades of blusher from Mua due to their amazing quality and super affordability

You might like it;

If you are searching for pigmented blusher

Something that is long lasting

Something that is affordable

You might not like it

You only get to live once so buy the blush

My ratings

5 out 5

Mua products can be purchased from either  just4girls.pk here  if you live in Pakistan or from the mua online store( they ship all around the world)
