[Review] JAYJUN Green Tea Eye Gel Patch

The first thing that pops into my mind every time someone mentions JAYJUN is their super popular Green Tea Eye patches. Admittedly I am very late to join the bandwagon but I am glad that I tried this gem of a product.

Green Tea is one of the most popular drink enjoyed for centuries. Its leaves are used for various medicinal and cosmetic purpose. Perhaps one of the most known cosmetic property of green tea is its ability to  SOOTHE and Hydrate the skin

Features:
The green tea gel patch soothes the sensitive skin with brightening and anti-aging effects.
Green tea powder, bluet extract, and hyaluronic acid moisturize and tighten the skin. The adhering hydro-gel patch moisturizes the skin with refreshing elasticity.

The packaging is beautiful. The tub is slim and comes with an additional plastic cover and a spatula. The '' INGREDIENTS '' list is rather long but if you have the patience to read it all till the end you are going to notice that this is loaded with botanical extracts of all sorts

Ingredients
Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan), Potassium Chloride, Tripropylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Betaine, Sodium Hyaluronate, Paeonia Lactiflora Root Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra (Licorice) Root Extract, Polygonum Multiflorum Root Extract, Phellinus Linteus Extract, Morus Alba Bark Extract, Sophora Angustifolia Root Extract, Cimicifuga Racemosa Root Extract, Sesamum Indicum (Sesame) Seed Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Angelica Gigas Root Extract, Pentylene Glycol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Pinus Sylvestris Leaf Extract, Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Powder(0.2%), Saururus Chinensis Extract, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Sucrose, Isopropyl Alcohol, Calcium Chloride, Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba (Guar) Gum, Cellulose Gum, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Allantoin, Adenosine, Disodium EDTA, Calcium Lactate, Ethyl Hexanediol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Propanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, CI 77288, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Fragrance, Chlorphenesin

The patches are so beautiful. They have a beautiful green tea color and smell like tea too. The scent alone is perfect to freshen one up in the morning. If you look closely you are going to notice that these patches have irregular pieces of leaves embeded in them

The shape of the patches is similar to regular eye patches. The tear drop shape fits the contours of the face and under eyes perfectly

The hydrogel material is soaked in thick vicious serum. I was really amazed how well the patches held on to my under eye area without budging/ slipping and sliding all over my face. I usually leave on the patches for 20 mins. I have noticed that these do actually depuff the under eyes and make them relatively brighter with continuous use.
They also keep my area look plump so that way there is less creasing and my makeup looks flawless for long

[Review] NEOGEN Real Fresh Cleansing Stick Green Tea

Created by Charlotte Cho in collaboration with Neogen this is one of  the most popular stick cleanser that almost everyone who has stepped in korean skincare has tried. I am admittedly very late to join the bandwagon but better late than never right.

Sticks formulations in general are trending in korean beauty circle right now, be it stick foundations, stick concealer, stick blush, stick sunscreen, stick perfume bars and ofcourse stick cleanser

This Neogen Green Tea Cleansing Stick is a all in one cleanser, it claims to melt makeup, dirt and clear sebum from the skin. Personally I prefer two step cleansing method as it removes every last bit of sunscreen and waterproof foundation from skin but since this is created by Charlotte Cho I knew this is no ordinary cleanser.

There are crushed green tea leaves along with natural oils to dissolve makeup and sebum

Ingredients: Glycerin, purified water, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, palmitic acid, stearic acid, lauryl betaine, betaine, camellia sinensis leaf(0.3%), camellia sinensis seed oil(0.1%), camellia japonica seed oil, olea europaea (olive) fruit oil, helianthus annuus (sunflower)seed oil, limnanthes alba (meadowfoam) seed oil, oenothera biennis (eveningprimrose) oil, tocopheryl acetate, citrus aurantifolia (lime) oil, ocimum basillicum (basil) oil, cananga odorata flower oil, citrus limon (lemon) peel oil, origanum heracleoticum floweroil, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange)peel oil, fragrance.

Packaging
Starting with packaging this feels heavy as its 80 g of product in form of a solid stick. The green cylindrincal plastic tube looks beautiful and has a twist up mechanism.

Its advised to swipe the cleanser on damp skin and then massage in circular motion to loosen makeup and oil.

The solid stick has a somewhat soft feel to it and glides well on damp skin. The tea leaves run through the entire cleanser and provide gentle exfoliation. In terms of scent its rather strong ( smells like grean tea ) personally I am not bothered by it because its refreshing and pleasant. The cleanser goes on like balm, turns somewhat milky and forms mild bubbles.

Green tea is a great antioxidant, it helps with clearing acne and provides hydration to skin.

This cleanser does a really good job of removing makeup. I can't say much about waterproof makeup through because I am very paranoid and use oil cleanser anyway. it gently cleanses the skin without stripping moisture or leaving it feeling dry. Moreover if you travel a lot this is not going to be confiscated at customs because it meets the TSA guidelines. Cleansers make huge difference to your skin. When I was a teenager my skin was horrible because I used to wash my face with everyday soap and it damaged my moisture barrier so choosing the right cleanser is very important.

I am glad I tried out this cleanser because it very handy and does the job well.

You can find this NEOGEN Real Fresh Cleansing Stick Green Tea at Jolse they recently restocked Neogen product along with new products

ST.Ives Blachead Clearing Green Tea scrub

Ever since I have started using makeup I have been quite afraid to try out a scrub firstly because the sinister looking scrub particles scared me to death and secondly I though my skin was fine without it. Now I have oily/combination skin  but since last year it has-been acting all weird. I have been experiencing a lot flaky spots around my nose and chin.

A colleague of mine suggested scrubbing my face once a week but I just brushed off her advice until recently I tried out a DIY green tea face scrub at home and that's exactly when I realized what I have been missing in my skincare routine. Now this scrub is very pocket friendly and natural but honestly very messy. Every time I Scrubbed my face I was left with tea stains on my sink/wash basin. Being the ever lazy person that I am I decided to look for an alternative and to my outmost delight I found one that is affordable

Quatity:170ml

Price:340 pkr

Packaging:

This scrub is housed in a matte squeezable tube. There is a transparent cap on one end which is secure so fear of spillage while traveling

My thoughts:

This scrub by St ives is light green scrub which has a very fresh and clean fragrance (it definitely does not smells like tea). There are very small round granules for exfoliation. Little amount of the scrub is needed for the whole face. It  gently cleanses the skin as well as exfoliates it.

This product claims to clear up blackheads but so far I haven't witnessed any progress clear up my blackheads. My skin feels dry and stretched after using this but a little moisturizer on top restores the moisture back into the skin

This is a good product price wise as well as performance wise. Moreover it has generous amount of product which is going to last a very long time. In comparison to sugar and walnut shells scrub this is very gentle plus the salicylic acid in this scrub is perfect for acne prone skin
I would suggest you all to give this scrub a shot
