my recent growing obsession has to be mascara, i just love the look of thick voluminous black lashes
since mascara come with the shortest life span i like to try drugstore mascara.

essence has a vast range of mascaras having fancy, cute and bright packaging, even the brushes are designed with absolute care

Essence Get Big Lashes volume curl mascara is one of the recent addition to the range, 

so lets get into the review shall we???

Packaging:

its a very vibrant red fat tube and has a ''e''  printed on top of it. the wand is medium sized and has a very fat brush on the end which is curved from on side 

About the product:

the formula of this mascara is very wet and runny. i guess it will thicken  and dry up  a little bit after some time.  due to its large brush its a bit trick to use this mascara as i am afraid that i might smudge it on my face or lid.

the curled part of the brush is perfect to lift up the lashes giving them a nice curl. these lashes give good volume to my lashes but not too much lenght which is ok with me as i always look for volumizing mascara. this mascara does not has any noticeable scent .

one thing i noticed when removing this mascara is that its not easily washable. i know this not waterproof mascara but the formula is a bit stubborn to remove with just soap and water

Olor 24 Hours Active Deodorant Review

hello, 

pleasant fragrances can have a very positive on your daily routine and activity they can make you feel cheerful, some scents bring back memories while fragrances can give you confidence and of course mask the smell of your sweat (this part was obvious)

today i will be reviewing the three newly launched 24hr active deodorant fragrances by Olor 

these are 
1.vibrant violet
2.rosy raspberry 
3.glamorous gold 

Packaging

these deodorants can have a very chic and slender designed spray can the caps fit quite well and have a nice nozzle which sprays the fragrances quite evenly. 

due to their vibrant design these bottles will look quite cute on the dressing table or in the purse 

About the product 

these deodorants are indeed quite long lasting, they dont smell overpowering but the scent is not feeble either. they come in a generous amount of 150ml. the best part they are ozone friendly. these  deodorants are manufactured in Norway 

and now i will describe each scent separate 

Olor Vibrant Violet

 Details: Iris and Black Current

top note : black current and iris blossoms 
base note: vanilla 

my thoughts:

this smells sweet and fruity also it sort of gives of cooling sensation 

Olor Rose Raspberry

 Details: Raspberry & Vanilla

top note blackcurrent ,raspberry
middle notes mandarin orange, carnation and cinnamon
 base notes  vanilla

My thoughts:

this fragrance despite the fact that it has raspberry does not have  a fruity scent at all but it smells quite pleasant. a bit masculine 

Glamorous Gold 

Details: lilac and amber 

Description;

top note: mandarin 
middle note: peach, lilac
base note; amber

my thoughts:

this has a regal scent if that is another way to describe the scent of betel nut( Mughal era???)

for the price these deodorants are quite a steal  as they are priced at about 200-250 pkr

MUA mascara shade 6

hello again,

today i will reviewing a very colorful mascara that is something i would rarely use since i wear more  of a neutral makeup but then it looked so vibrant that i just couldn't resist

Packaging:

its a simple electric blue tube same as the  shade of mascara has a very long wand and an average brush 

this mascara has the most weirdest texture i have ever used. it has  cotton fibers like fibers in it for giving volume and length i suppose. the color of the mascara is a vibrant electric blue

i have found another way to use this mascara that is by applying a coat of black mascara on top of this mascara gives thick false eyelashes like effect which is so pretty

for the price i think this mascara is  a bargain

Essence sheer and shine lipstick in BFF 03

 for the past few years the Revlon lip-butters have been quite popular among the you-tubers and the whole beauty community, despite the fact that Revlon is a drugstore brand the lip-butters are quite expensive in  here in Pakistan 

 a couple of years forward essence has come up with the sheer and shine lipsticks which are  similar in texture and pigmentation, also a lot affordable 

the sheer and shine lipstick has a wide variety of shades from sheer nudes to reds and pinks
i personally love wearing lipsticks having sheer formula as they require less effort during application, are hydrating give fresh and youthful look to the face

packaging:

this lipstick has a silver casing and a transparent lid similar to the shade to lipstick which makes it easier to locate in your makeup bag when in a hurry 
i feel that the casing  makes the lipstick look more expensive/ high end 

about the product :

BFF is a very beautiful watermelon pink/red colored lipstick. it is very sheer but the color is build able on multiple swipes, texture wise its like a lip-balm and hydrating 
the staying power however is poor it lasts for only two hours on the lips (average time a lip balm lasts on the lips) other thing that bothered me about this lipstick is the scent it has a strong vitamin E scent which is quite a turn off for me as i am quite sensitive to scents

my year 2015 favorites

Makeup

Face

I enjoyed using the the matte effect foundation by Makeup Revolution all year due to the natural coverage it provided and the light formula

I also liked the pro base primer by MUA

Marshmallowby MUA  still remains my favorite blush this year

Lips

This year I embraced the nude lips trend. most of the lipsticks I purchased were either mlbb or nude shade

My favorite liplner has to be by essence as it can be worn alone or under any lipstick/ lipgloss (read review here)

For lipsticks in the flesh by wet n wild, treat by makeup revolution and rendezvousby MUA were the most worn lipsticks

Eyes

 the heaven and earth palette by MUA was the best eyeshadow palette i tried this year.when it comes to my oily lids eyeshadow pencil by jordana was the perfect choice

the i love extreme volume mascara by essence still remains to be my fav mascara this year 

circle lens 

i reviewed a lot of circle lens in year 2015, it was fun trying them 

i was very hard to decide which one was my favorite as all are vibrant and very comfortable however i particularly liked the review choco circle lens for every day wear and t top lens in ice blue for formal occassions

Makeup revolution iconic pro lipstick in looking ahead

I have been feeling really down lately, so it’s quite hard to write down a blog post when one is feeling so unmotivated

These lipsticks have been quite rage in the blogging community so when these became available in Pakistan I bought one for myself, approximately two months ago and I have been using it ever since

Price : £2.49 or 395 pkr

Quantity : 3.8 g

Packaging:

This look very exactly like M.A.C lipstick , now I don’t happen to own a single lipstick by M.A.C but from the pictures I have seen on other blogs they are similar the only difference being that they are rose gold instead of silver

The packaging is not quite sturdy but for the price you cant really complain

About the product 

This is by far the creamiest lipstick I have tried.it smells strongly of vitamin E but once the lipstick is applied on the lips the smell gradually becomes less noticeable. My lipstick unfortunately arrived broken (looks wobbly in the picture) but I fixed it using a cigarette lighter 

Looking ahead is a brown shade lipstick with red undertones, for some odd reason it translates greyish brown on my lips (weird right???) so for me its not an easy shade to pull off with every colored dress

It is very pigmented once swipe gives off a decent amount of color to the lips however lasting power is not that good it stays on my lips for about 2-3 hours maximum without eating or drinking .  it leaves a plumy brown colored tint on my lips after the lipstick has worn off

I might purchase a couple of other shades from the range

Jordana 12 hrs made to last eyeshadow pencils

I am one of the most laziest person you would ever meet, I just sleep off till there is only 20 minutes left for the college to start , and then I just finally get my bones moving go to the bathroom  and get dressed, if you happen to spot a person running with a piece of toast yup that’s me 

So when I discovered about cream eyeshadows/ chubby sticks I though there were just specially designed for a lazy person like me 

It was my birthday last month and just4girls.pk had 20% discount on the whole jordana range so decided to buy the 12 hr eyeshadow pencils for myself as a birthday gift  (got them for 356 pkr on sale cool right!!)

Price: 3.99$ / 442 pkr

 

 Packaging :

 chubby wooden pencils which have a transparent cap.

Jordana claims these pencils to be highly pigmented formula ,matte finish longlasting and water resistant

there are a total of 7 pencils in range i have only four of these 

My thought:

these are intensely pigmented, one swipe deposits fair amount of color on the lid, they have very creamy texture, they dont tug at the eyelid at all, however they set super fast so if want to blend the color you have to be fast as they wont budge once they set, totally waterproof and do last more than 12 hr on the eyelids

1. Eternal white 

this shade is  matte chalk white color, it work great as an eyeshadow base and makes the eyeshadows look more vibrant. this color applies a bit patchy on the lids but i even i out with my fingers 

2. Tenacious brown 

its an intense matte  brown color i like to use this as an eyeliner and sometimes to apply it on my crease. this applies evenly on the lid 

3. Prolong purple 

this is a gorgeous deep purple shade which has pink glitters in it, this is so pretty. i really love this shade. this applies evenly on the lid 

4. Endless emerald :

this is such a beautiful forest green color perfect for brown eyes, it has green glitter in it . applies evenly on the lid

some negative points:

these do stay on the waterline but irritate the eyes terribly, 

the cap tends to get dirty easily 

set fast lie 30 secs

these pencils are a must have, i have also heard that these are dupe for milani shadow eyez eyeshadow pencils and urban decay 24/7 glide on  eyeshadow pencils
