Inside the  packaging is a hydrogel mask
The texture of the hydrogel feels sturdy ( I often end out tearing hydrogel masks when taking them out of the packaging

One can never go wrong with the fit when it comes to hydrogel mask because they come
 in separate pieces for the forehead and chin area so one can easily adjust it according to the face shape. If you ask me Hydrogel mask are perfect for summer because they give off  cooling effect and hydrate the skin too
One thing special that. I have noticed about this particular hydrogel mask is that there is a slight textured side ( raised bumps ) on one side of the mask which help the mask to adhere better and prevent it from slipping and sliding

The essence is watery and texture so It dripped a little when I took it out of the packaging. I wore this for about 40 mins until the sides of the hydrogel began to dry off and started peeling
 this  mask gives instant hydration . I have noticed that this makes my skin firmer plus it brightens up my complexion

Having  dark downy hair (the peach fuzz ) on the face is a given when you are from south asia, and It  can sometimes make one feel very self consious about it. Even if your facial hair are light in color you might have noticed that they   can make the makeup look cakey.

Many people resort to remove facial hair with wax, threading or bleach it. Though Waxing is effective but it can reduce the elsaticity of skin and cause sagging and premature aging of skin, while threading can be very painful at times.

Solstick mini By Endomedics is a portable hair removing device which is perfect for downy hair. It has singular rotating blade which is placed behind a protective cover. So the sharp edges of the blade never come in contact with the skin.

The device has a sleek design amd comes in variety of colors, I choose this vibrant yellow (isnt it cute? ). The small circular top makes it easy to maneuver around the contours of face and shave hair from hard to reach areas. 

The top part of the shaver is removable, so you can easily clean it and remove the shaved hair build up due to its slit head .Moreover its waterproof

The device can be switched on and off with a simple button on the side

This requires AA battery to function ( not included with tge device)

I have noticed that circular motions works well shaving hair with this device. Just move the shaving part gently over the desired area and you would be surprised how easily and effortlessly this shaves hair. 

My thoughts:

I find this very easy to travel with as its small and light in weight. Though it might take a little time if you are shaving hair from a larger surface but its perfect for tough ups and shaving facial hair)

I often end up with minature cuts when shaving with a feminine blade which later results in redbumps, itching and sometimes pimples but Solstick gives the most comfortable shaving experience, i for once in my life didnt get any cuts. I have used this to shave hair from the upper part of my lips ( the moustache 😁) and from my arms too. I love how this shaved hair without making my skin chaffed or irritated.

Many people are under an impression that shaving hair makes them grow back thicker. There is no scientific research to prove this claim its one of those hair superstitions that have been passed on persin to person. I have personally shaved my hair multiple times and believe me my hair look the same (no change in texture or thickness)

Chateau Labiotte wine lip tint mini RD01 SHIRAZ RED

The lip product I am going to review today on the blog is no stranger in beauty world. This cute wine bottle shaped lip tint totally took the beauty world by storm last year. everyone was talking about it. It was featured in a lot of Korean dramas, online magazines, vlogs and blogs so naturally this caught my attention too. This Lip tint comes in both full size and deluxe size packaging. The reason i chose deluxe size was that i currently own over 30+ lip products ( may not seem a lot to you but for me that's way too many lip products) sitting inn my makeup stash waiting to be used up. So I decided to buy something I will easily finish off before it goes bad. Enough with my rant lets get onto the review

Packaging:
Even though its a deluxe product I have to laud the brand for placing it into a small cardboard box ( makes it look specially ). The liptint as you can see has a wine bottle packaging its so cute and tiny. the lid does not pop off like a champagne cork but us like any lip tint with a doe foot applicator 😊
Each liptint has a different color lid. The lid kind of represents the color of the tint inside
I love how this tiny tube holds 3ml of product and is tiny enough to be carried even in a coin 👝.

There are lot of shades in the range(pink, orange, burgundy, red, peach etc)
About the product
This contains alcohol/wine by products so once you apply it onto the lips it gives a cooling feel ( alcohol evaporation =cooling)
The color is a beautiful neutral red. Unlike the dear darling tint i tried by etude house this has a very opaque coverage so this tint works more like a lipstick. The lasting power is great it lasts pretty well onto my lips. The application is not patchy at all. What I love about this tint is that it  applies evenly and wears off evenly too. But one thing bad about this is that it can be drying on the lips. I fix this problem by fist applying a layer of Lip. Balm n my lips amd then following a layer of lip tint of top that way i get sheer to medium coverage of the tint on my lips ( it looks pretty wearable during the day) and my lips font get cracked or look like dried up prunes by the end of the day. Since the tint sets up/ dries up pretty fast I suggest you to be extra careful when applying this liptint.

Overall I love this tint would definitely purchase more shades from the range
This mini/deluxe tint is priced at 3-4$ while a full size of this lip tint coats around 9-12$ depends on the store

CY Lab Top Luxury Masks

Packaging: I like the simple beautiful emerald green packaging of these sheet masks. All the three variants have similar packaging the only difference is that they is a sticker placed on the masks which specifies the type of mask

Each sheet is drenched in generous amount of essence ( no leftover or excess essence in the foil), Each sheet masks has a plastic back cover ( i love this it helps with the unfolding of sheet)

CY Lab Top Luxury Mask - Triple Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Moisturizing Repairing Mask
A mask for deep hydration this contains  hyaluronic acid
This has that characteristic Taiwanese sheet mask texture (feels like silk) the sheet is very sheer and thin ( be careful as the sheet can tear )
The essence has a mild apple scent its transparent and water like
As the sheet is thin it adheres really well (like second skin)the size is good too not too long . This one began to dry up after 25mins though
Ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate for moisture boost, Saccharide Isomerate to lock down hydration), Chondrus Crispus (antioxidant)
Results: The fist thing I noticed was that all the essence was absorbed into my skin and my skin felt soft.

The brightening/whitening effect I got after using this was amazing. It also plumped my skin and I didn't get any breakouts the next day

I have used the  crithmum maritimum essence and really loved it. So I was very happy that they had a separate mask too.  crithmum maritimum  acts as an anti oxidant, it a skin healing anti ageing ingredient

This has a slightly thick black sheet mask which feels soft. Fit was good but the sheet was a little wide on the forehead area (i had to fold it )

The essence has a mild pleasant scent and has a clear gel like texture . I wore this one for 35 mind and then took it off
Essence absorbed without much effort. No tacky residue was left on my face. , I noticed my face was brighter, hydrated and looked better.

Cy Lab trio: Alpha-Arbutin Skin Whitening
Arbutin is a well know skin whitening ingredient it reduces hyper pigmentation and lightens scars and spots on the skin
 INGREDIENTS
 Vitamin C (boost collagen production acid. lightens skin pigmentation) Orchid Extract antioxidants, Arbutin  prevent formation of melanin

Has a barely noticeable scent. The sheet is thin and the essence has has light clear watery texture
This ingredients on this are pretty impressive,   vitamin C and arbutin are great skin brightening agents, I wore this sheet mask on for 30 minutes.  My skin was so bright that it accentuated the dark circles around my eyes. My skin looked matte and felt soft. This totally improved my complexion

I am pretty impressed with these sheetmasks by Cylab . These retail for 3$ each. I feel like these are perfect for oily skin, or people whose pores clog up easily. If you are looking for some skin brightening sheetmask i highly recommend you all to try these. You won't be  disappointed

[Review] Dr hsieh 20% Mandelic Acid Home-Peel

I gave been eyeing AHA containing products for a fairly long time but never purchased one because I am afraid of purging and what if it ruined all the progress I have made with my skin

On the AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) scale mandelic acid falls on the milder side. Compared to glycolic acid and lactic acid, this is the gentlest. Mandelic acid has the largest molecules within the AHA family so it foes not penetrate deep into the skin layers. This quality makes Mandelic Acid the perfect choice of AHA for sensitive skin.

Packaging:A pretty green vial is enclosed in a clean white cardboard box. I really love how they have clearly stated the directions in English and mandarin
The green vial is made out of glass and has a dropper to dispense the product. I have noticed that are marking on the side of vial which helps one to keep track of usage.

One thing which bothered me slightly is the vial does not comes with a stopper (so if the vial is tilted accidently the essence will spill )

Directions to use
Wash the skin with cleanser. pat it dry and follow it up with AHA essence. Unlike many other AHA's this does not requires to be washed off after 15mins. In fact you can leave it on your face and follow up with rest of skincare routine

About the product:
This has a an oily texture. I take about  5 drops of this and apply it all over my face avoiding the eye area. Since AHA loosen and remove dead skin cells (exfoliates) I prefer using this 2 times a week at night.
I haven't noticed any kind of irritation or burning sensation after using this product for three weeks
Result:
 Though the mandelic acid makes my skin a little dry (the next morning). My skin feels visibly brighter and clear. This has seriously reduced the hyper pigmentation on my skin.

It has also reduced the pigmentation of my acne scars
I am very please with my very first AHA product and would definitely repurchase again from this brand in future

PURITO Centella Green Level Recovery Cream

Centella Asiactica is currently one of the most  used popular skincare ingredient and there is every reason that it should be it an special herb which soothes, heal and repair the skin.

Purito is one skincare brand that I trust the most, the ingredients are honest and pure. They Follow EWG guidelines when preparing there skincare products which means that their skincare is from from 10 harmful/ toxic to human health ingredients like parabens etc

This particular cream is rich in centella aciatica. It contains   3  derivatives of centella asciatica ( very potent)  asiaticoside, asiatic acid and lastly the madecassic acid. ( al these ingredients assist in healing and anti aging (anti-aging compound, that helps to plump up your skin, prevents wrinkles, fine lines, scar tissue) and madecassic acid. Another popular skin brightening ingredient added to this cream is niacinamide.

Packaging: Outer recycle cardboard packaging which has instructions , illustrations and ingredient list stated both in korean and English
Inside the cream is place in a squeeze tube. I love how hygienic the design is  Dipping fingers in a  tub of cream introduces bacteria which results in spoilage of  cream)

This cream smells like centella. Its white in color and has a lotion like texture. Its was to spread and absorbs pretty fast leaving behind a soft matte finish. I how this works with my oily skin . The formula is very light weight during my 1 month of usage I haven't noticed any kind of clogged pores or breakout by this cream. This is truly a winner for me.

Elizavecca Milky Piggy Hell-Pore Perfect Wine Sparkling Peeling Pad Review

I have been so curious about this product ever since its release because i have seen another brand which uses  Wine extract in its peeling pads as a key ingredient
 The wine extract is actually polyphenol which  moisturizes and  cleanse skin.

Another ingredients that i have noticed is  Betaine Salicylate(BHA) this improves skin texture and reduces black heads. Many Korean skincare brands use mild AHA like Betaine Salicylate in there products

Packaging
A huge transparent tub comes in a very cute cardboard box. The tub is sealed to prevent leakage and contamination. Unfortunately the seal on my product was a little tampered ( I blame the people at custom for this)  so some amount of pink liquid was spilled on the box.

Though I am not fan of Pigs in general the packaging is admittedly a little cute ( those black heads looks adorable 😆)
Elizavecca included a  pair of  tweezers to pick pads from the container. The ends of these tweezers is very pointed and sharp so its better to reserve for removing sheetmasks from the foil and peeling pads

Peeling pad are dual side round cotton mitts. One side is plain while other has a raised/embossed design. the material is very soft and good for gentle exfoliation.
The close to wine colored essence has a mild, sweet fragrance. The essence feels watery in texture but it feels a little sticky. From what I have learned by reading other reviews this essence contains  dye hence the wine color. Even though some of the liquid was spilled these pads are totally soaked in essence.

Thoughts:
I use this only once a week as i like to use switch between my physical and chemical exfoliants.  I have noticed that this products makes my skin feel a little warm on application ( no itching or burning sensation) As soon as one massages the mitt on the skin it began to turns gray white in color. I have used this to remove full face of makeup and wow this removed all the layers from my fave effortlessly ( i used micellar water on a cotton round to check and my cotton round looked clean ) since the essence leaves behind a slightly tacky finish i prefer washing my face with water after using this but my mother has dry skins and she likes to keep the essence stay on her face.
Result:
Clean, smooth skin which feels moisturized. I have noticed that this brightens the complexion after use.

From what I have learned by researching more about these particular sheetmasks is that these are actually 7 day sheet mask( a specific mask is assigned for each week day
Since I placed 3 out of 7 masks in a giveaway I was left with 4 out if which I used two

HOW TO USE :
After cleansing and cleaning skin texture, take out a sheet and apply evenly
 to the whole face.
In 15-20 minutes, remove the sheet and pat on to the skin the remains for it to be absorbed.
Any remaining ingredients can be also applied to other body areas.

The 3 steps include:
STEP1 Facial Foaming & Soft Peeling
This foam cleanser is really good, a little goes a long way. This has a nice (olay lotion like) scent and foams up a lot

STEP2 INTENSIVE CARE MASK
This is a scentless sheet mask. The sheet feels  soft and comfortable. The cut out for the nose, mouth and eyes are in good proportion.    coming to the essence it's  slightly viscous than water and absorbs easily into the skin without leaving a tacky finish
STEP3 Anti-Aging Night Cream
The cream has a has cream to lotion consistency. It spreads easily and absorbs within a few minutes .
RESULT
smooth soft skin next day, this reduced the dry patches on my face and helped my makeup go on easily the next morning.

Today I am reviewing sheetmasks by another Taiwanese brand called Dr Hseih

Packaging: These sheetmasks come un beautiful vibrant packaging . There are a fruits and different veggies on the cover of each mask
Each sheet is drenched in super super amount of essence ( 27 ml of essence so there is a lot of excess essence in the Packaging, good enough to be used three times), Each sheet masks has a plastic back cover with tiny holes in it which allows the essence to saturate the sheet easily
The essence of all three variants has an interesting slightly cloudy lotion like texture which transforms into water on contact.( cool right )
The sheets are very thin and sheer ( characteristic of many Taiwanese sheetmasks) the fits is good too. The sheet has multiple cuts around the periphery which help to manoeuvre the sheet according to the face shape

 DR. HSIEH Energy of Fruits and Veg - Deep Hydrating Lotion Mask
 this is marketed as an intensively hydrating and  soothing skin mask
The sheet adhered to my fave pretty well, this has a mild fresh clean scent similar to that of cucumbers

DR.HSIEH Energy of Fruits and Vegetables - Brightness Radiance Lotion Mask

This is to brighten pigmentation and moisturize the skin.
The sheet is well made and easy to adjust . This has slightly sweet and citrusy scent. Its mild and disappears within few minutes I wore this foe around 30 mins and noticed that the sheet was drying out

I am very impreed with all three varients. Every thing about these sheet masks is good. The ingredients list, the price, the packaging, the quality and most importantly the results these mask deliver. In my opinion these are suitable for all skin types.
