[Review] TonyMoly Fabric Collection Crystal Lace Blusher : Camelia Red

Due to a sudden shift in temperature and climate I have regained my energy to write reviews so here is its another cute korean makeup product , this time from Tony Moly
Tonymoly Fabric Collection is a limited edition collaboration with Kelly Park Studio so the products are available in limited quantities.

To be honest the cute floral design is what that actually drew me in and I am glad that I got this blush because not only is this particular shade pretty to look at but its pigmented as well.

Admittedly these are not one of a kind. Japanese makeup brand Canmake and Milani has something similar to it.

The packaging is transparent, small and conpact there is no mirror or brush. Over all the design is classy and feminine

There are total of 6 shades in the collection   3 of them are blushes, 2 shades for contouring and 1 for highlighting

I picked out shade 03 Camelia red

Red blushes have been trending recently  ( Beauty Guru Pony Makeup has been using Red blush in her tutorials and that tinge of red across her cheeks looks so flattering)

As you can see there is a variation of colors in a single pan. You can either use an individual color on your cheeks / eye lid or swirl the brush in the pan for a soft pastel look.

The rose part is red in color. It as a soft velvety texture and is the most pigmented shade in the bunch. The color leans toward warm side and shows up easily on the skin. ( my friend has slightly tan skin than me and this was visible on her skin as well).

Next is the orange flower its not as pigmented as red but more pigmented than yellow shade. There is golden shimmer running through it. This shade is soft but a little powdery. This shows up on the skin as well not too bright but gives a natural flush to the cheeks.

The yellow flower is to brighten up complexion. Its not much pigmented and it took me multiple swipes to make this show up on camera. I like to use this as a matte powder highlight.

Lastly the lace part is white and in my eyes serves the purpose of pressed powder as I cant spot any shimmer in it. This shade blends into the skin due to its translucent nature

Swirled together these give a reddish coral flush to the cheeks. I personally like to load my brush with the red shade as it gives me that snow white effect and really enhances my complexion.

After using the blush from Heimish blush palette I wasn't surprised by the pigmentation level of this product. Unlike western makeup brands Korean makeup promotes natural makeup so the products are not heavily pigmented. I find this blush very suitable for poeple who have fair to light skin, love collecting cute makeup products, or those who are starting out with makeup as this gives room to mistakes and error.

Though this might be a disappointment for darker skin tones I personally like the sheer water color like effect this imparts on the cheeks. For a more intesnse look you can build it up by layering the product several time over your cheek.
On sad thing about this blush is that embossed floral pattern wears off with use so after multiple uses it going to look plain and ordunary like other blushes in my collection

If this blush has sparked you interest you can purchase this at jolse for 8.48$

Product sent for review thoughts expressed are honest and my own.
