[Review] Tony Moly Inked Lasting Mascara

When I first received this mascara I was hit by a flood of memories from the past. Back then fountain pens were all rage and came in different shapes and special unique nibs with intricate patterns carved on it.

Thank you Tony Moly for the trip down the memory lane.

I accidentally damaged the cardboard box in my excitement. As you can see this mascara has a packaging similar to that of a fountain pen. The size of the tube is a little chubbier than a regular mascara but its cute nonetheless. the Inked range has two types of mascaras in the collection. I picked the Golden one for Volume because my lashes are long already.
Many of you might have noticed that mascara is one domain that needs to be explored and reviewed further in asian beauty community. Because there are only a handful of posts regarding korean mascaras.

This mascara has medium lenght wand, on one end is a relatively thin, synthetic bristles brush which has a some what curved conical shape (The curved part assists in lifting lashes). The bristles are packed in a manner that they grasp the lash hair and deposit mascara  thoroughly.

I found the formula on the drier side which is good because runny formulas don't do much for my eyes. The brsuh adds adequate volume amd makes the lashes look thick and pigmented. I doesn't take long to dry up either. It doesn't flake during the day or smudge under my eyes. And removes easily with micellar water by the end of the day.

Personally I am very satisfied with this mascara. It definitely lives up to the standard of my HG essence mascaras. Not only is this product cute to look at, it does a really good job of giving me fluttery lashes. the brush works great on both upper and lower lashes.

This cute TonyMoly Inked Lasting mascara is available at Jolse for purchase
