[Review] PIEHL’S PLASTE H-AQUA SPF50+/PA++++ SUN STICK

I recently watched a video on youtube where the host applied different uv rays protection products on her face under a UV camera.
According to the results the product which did the best job of forming a shield against the UV rays was a sunstick

I have been entertaining the idea of trying out a sun stick for some time now but its difficult to find a non greasy formula. PIEHL’S PLASTE H-AQUA SPF50+/PA++++ SUN STICK came as a perfect opportunity to step into the world of sun sticks

Description:

Fresh, sooth, lightweight type sun block. Patented ingredients for soothing and hydrating skin. – Easy to apply – Perfect for daily use – Natural look

Main Ingredients: Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Raspberry Seed Oil, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid

16g/0.56oz

How to use: Use as the last step of skin care. Turn the dial on the bottom of the container and apply lightly to area where UV protection is needed.

The packaging as you can see is very practical. Its small which makes it easy to carry around and has a roll up mechanism. SPF50+/PA++++ makes this a really good sunscreen

This sun stick is transparent with slightly yellow tinge, when I looked at it for the first time I imagined it would feel like jelly (Hehe)

Due to different oils used in the stick this initially feels oily on the skin but after a few minutes the oil kind of absorbs into the skin so skin looks soft. I have worn this on its own and under my makeup. I have noticed that this gives base makeup semi matte finish

I think for hot weather this is going to be enjoyed a lot by dry and normal skin. For oily to combination skin cooler weather like Autumn and winter will be best.
