[Review] TONYMOLY - Propolis Tower Barrier Enriched Cleansing Balm

I like cleansing balms from tony moly. They are cost effective.  Come in cute packaging and work so well at a fraction of price. I reviewed Tony Moly Green Tea Cleansing balm on my blog last year and that post was quite well received so here I am , reviewing another cleansing balm from Tony Moly

The price fo this balm varies store to store . You can get it at 10-15$  ( on sale) . Packaging is pretty simple and fuss free. A small plastic jar and a decent size spatula to scoop out the product. What else can you ask for ?

Removes makeup residues and skin impurities without the need to use other removers or cleansing oils.Formulated with Tower Barrier™ to soothe, nourish and strengthen the barrier of weakened skin.Melts into oil to offer gentle cleansing while giving a relaxing honey fruity scent.

How to use:

1. Scoop a small amount onto clean, dry hands and warm between your fingers.

2. Apply to your face and massage gently until makeup residues start to melt.

3. Add water to emulsify the balm and rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water.

Product has a slight honey yellow tinge. It becomes unnoticeable once you rub it on the palms of my hand . I usually scoop quarter size amount for my face and it is enough to remove all the sunscreen, waterproof lipstick and mascara. I have noticed a faint sweet scent of this balm . I checked the ingredients list and I believe shea butter and vanilla extracts are the factors contributing to this. You don't need much to remove makeup. A little goes a long way. I am not sure how this holds up in summer but in winters it is solid and easy to scoop. Some balms tend to leave an oily residue on the face. This however washes clean and leaves no oily residue behind. Overall I am pretty happy with this cleansing balm. I would recommend you to try this. It is very affordable and friendly for long trips.
