Ok so as a avid sheet mask user sometimes after using a sheet mask I often feel that my skin needs some kind of an after product which seals in the moisture. I know people use occlusives for that but for people who have oily skin heavy moisturizers are a big "No"

I got to try this super cool one of its kind Mask Fixer by 8Beautycosmetics ( an innovative skincare product which never existed before)
The packaging is a very convenient pump bottle which contains a generous 100ml of product in it. The bottle is 100% spill proof and the pump dispenses adequate amount of product so have fear of wasting product

About the product:

This is a light weight Slightly opaque liquid which can be used as a substitute for essence or be used after a sheet mask as finishing product. I have used this product on its own under my own and I really enjoyed how it gave my oily skin a punch of moisture and helped me with makeup application. The scent of this very pleasant, its not too strong just a mild sort of floral scent.
The star ingredients are silk crystal and cold pressed hemp seed oil
Silk crystal has the ability to promote collagen production, helps skin regeneration filter UV radiations and has strong moisturizing properties
While hemp seed oil is a super food with contains fatty acids vitamin A, E , omega 3 and omega 6  fatty acid so its perfect for giving moisturizer, anti oxidant and wrinkle care. This heals skins so for people who have atopic dermatitis or eczema or sensitive skin this is perfect

What I love about this product is that it does not feel heavy on the skin. In fact this is so light weight( something quite astonishing for a product which contains hemp seed oil) it absorbs into the skin within seconds. I really like the moisturized yet matte finish I get after using this product.
I am thoroughly impressed with this product and would highly recommend you to try this product. Even if you don't use sheet masks you can still use this as an essence so its a skin product with can be used in multiple ways

this is available for 38,500 won on yooheeco website here

If you are of Korean beauty and skincare and I am sure you must know Lisa of Beauty Bemused. She recently launched her very own online korean store by the name of Bemused Korea what differentiates this online shop from the rest is that instead of finding all the popular Korean skincare and makeup brands you can actually purchase some really nice hard to find brands like 107oseven, A BY BOM cosmetics and merbliss korea etc.
I have seen reviews of the store by many people and really like how the send the parcel in pretty packaging so it feels more like opening a gift
Lisa was very generous and sent me two kinds of sheet mask by Merbliss yo can have a look at the package below
Isn't the pink and silver confetti cute ❤
Now I haven't personally tried out any thing by Merbliss so far but I have been following them on instagram and wow I cant believe Ahn Jae-hyun  is currently endorsing this brand( incase you cant remember he was one of the leads in Korean drama "Blood" "Cinderella and the four knights" and also starred in "You who came from the stars"
Enough of that fan girl moment lets get on to the review 😁
MERBLISS Intense Hydration Coating Nude Seal mask (WEDDING DRESS)
This mask retails for 3$ each and can be purchased in a box of 5
Its is a 100% natural sheet mask and contains 25ml of serum in it
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Butylene Glycol, Caviar Extract, Pearl Powder, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, PVM/MA Copolymer, Trehalose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Carbomer, Arginine, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Chlorphenesin, Glycyrrhiza Galbra (Licorice) Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Zinziber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Extract, Acorus Calamus Root Extract, Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract, Fragrance
The outer packaging is matte and has a cute white wedding dress printed on ut. The claims are simple skin brightening and hydration to get that bride like glow 😍
After tearing open the foil I was met with a mild pleasant scent ( don't be alarmed its very mild and vanishes in a minute or two)

As the name suggests this nude seal mask has a light thin sheet mask (0.21mm) with a protective white plastic cover to retain it's shape
The mask is drenched in a thick viscous transparent serum. I squeezed out the excess serum before hand for later use
The fit if this mask is good. I have a small face so adjusting sheetmasks is a little tricky for me but this one adhered well to the skin.( I roamed around the house without any fear 😅 ). I improvised on the instructions and wore this for 50 minutes because
1. Its winter and my skin is feeling dry
2. This mask felt so nice so I didn't felt like taking it off after 20 mins
What surprised me was the fact that even after 50 minutes the sheet was moist( don't know if its because of winter or perhaps this particular sheetmask has the ability to retain mire moisture than an average sheetmask
Anyways after taking it off the remaining serum absorbed on its own without any external effort aka patting 😆

I really liked how my skin looked matte but glowy without the greasy or tacky feel it was soft and hydrated. I can totally agree on the brightening part (my skin didn't look its usually dull self). Super impressed with its performance 5/5

MERBLISS Intense Soothing Gauze Seal mask ( Nurse Healing)
100% Natural sheet mask. This has a scent similar to the Merbliss wedding mask but what sets this mask different from all the mask I have tried out in past is that its made of gauze. Now I am a medical student so you know get to use gauze a lot in hospital but the texture of particular gauze make is different. Its strong so it does not tears apart no matter how much pull it around to adjust it on your face.
Ingredients:  Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trehalose, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Arginine, Carbomer, Dipropylene Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Fragrance, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer, Melaleuca Althernifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (matricaria) Flower Extract, Mentha Piperita (peppermint) Leaf Extract, Diamond Powder, Centella Asiatica Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris Extract, Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract, Thuja Orientalis Extract,Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Phenoxtethanol
The gauze soaks up a lot more product than an average sheet mask so this remains moist for a really long time. I hung this mask up to see how long it took for it to dry and was super surprised when it dried up after 2hrs cool right.

I wore this mask for 40 minutes and then massaged the sheet on my arms and neck ( there is still a little serum in the foil so I am going to use it later)
Unlike the Merbliss Wedding Mask this gives hydration , moisture and nutrition. The serum takes some time to dry down but one its all absorbed the skin feels soft minus the tacky greasy feel. I liked how my skin felt plump and soft. This is perfect for all skin types ( mine is oily acne prone) I would have loved to write my moms thoughts on this but she is hesitant to use sheet mask in winters ( she is afraid she might catch cold)
Nonetheless these masks are definitely one of the best masks I have tried and have made it to my special sheet masks list.
Even though these masks were sent for review my opinion would have been same even if I would have purchased these with my own money
these masks can be purchased at bemused korea website here

Ever since I have started following Korean makeup trends. My craze off having super matte skin has finally died down. Now I look for formulas which can help me achieve that subtle glow.
still that does not means that I don't use powder makeup products
I purchases this cult favorite loose powder by Innisfree called the No Sebum powder X Emoji edition ( its a limited edition)
As you can already see the packaging is super adorable. There are a lot of options I choose the blushing emoji. The container is sturdy and is small m it contains about 5gm of powder which initially looks quite less but trust me I have been using this for months and its still looks barely used at all. There is a cute yellow puff included with it m inside the is a plastic guard with small square holes punched to allow small amount of powder to come through
I love how finely milled this powder is. It has a faint very refreshing mint scent which lingers for few minutes. This product does not leave a white cast what so ever on the face but be warned that it flashes back on flash photography
I like to dust this all over my fave during summer time because that's when my T-zone produces the oil most and thanks to super humid and hot summers that we get in Pakistan I set my makeup with this to prevent it from melting and smudging.
in winters I like to dust this only on my nose and forehead for that soft matte look.
I can clearly see why this powder is popular all over Asian beauty community. This powder is affordable and easily available at many reputable online stores.
there are a lot of fake look alike copies of this powder circulating on internet and stores so be careful before making a purchase

I purchase mine from the skin maskeurade

I was sent this cream courtesy Leegeeham by Ms Aileen for review purpose

A moisturizing cream specially designed for oily skin I was very curious because it contains 5 alpha hydroxy acid a chemical compound used to inhibit the action of 5 α reductase the main culprit of excess oil/sebum production and Hirsutism ( excess hair growth) in females
Just like the Hyal B5 cream this is cased in a very sturdy travel friendly container. There is a protective lid to keep the product from spilling and maintain its freshness
This cream has a faint propolis like scent which is good because I was afraid it might smell have that chemistry lab like scent 😳
The texture of this cream is a somewhat like a lotion its viscous and feels like a emulsion/ lotion.

Now I have been using my favourite green tea cream for 2 yrs straight because it absorbs immediately into the skin giving a matte finish so I had the same concept of matte akin in my mind but I was quite surprised when I applied this onto my skin
Instead of absorbing immediately this took about 5 minutes and instead of leaving that matte/ dry skin . It made my skin feel so and satin like. Moreover my makeup went on so much smoothly afterwards. What I have deduced after using this for almost a month is that this cream restores the moisture which an oily skin needs ( something which many of us oily skin people are guilty of) so this in return regulates sebum product and the skin does not feels the need to produce more oil

My experience with heavy creams have not been pleasant in the past but this one is definitely a product made after a lot of research. This does not clog up pores, cause breakout more exacerbate pimples.
The ingredient list and instructions are printed both in English and Hangul (Korean) on the box
Since the cream is on pricier side I suggest you to use a spatula to scoop out cream so that no extra bacteria is introduces in the cream( hygiene comes first)
I searched for skincare products containing 5 α-Hydroxy acids and I didn't found many so this is a one of its kind product which controls excess sebum production.
Do you know leegeeham has more product in this range. You can know more  by clicking here

November calls for warm jackets, delicious chicken corn soup, great sales and big shopping events yup you have guessed it right . I am indeed talking about BLACK FRIDAY
In case you have been living under the rock for the past few years and don't know what's Black Friday I am going shed some light on the topic for you. According to google Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in United states where many retailers and stores offer big discounts. For the past few years this has been followed by many stores situated out side the US and has now become a global phenomenon. To know more check out this cool article at BLACK FRIDAY WIKI
Pakistan too has caught up with this shopping trend and for the last two or maybe three years . Many online stores have been offering black Friday discounts.
I managed to grab a lot of great items from the rack and online stores during the Black Friday sales last year. So I have decided to share some of my shopping secrets for Black Friday Deals to help you guys cross out more products from your wish list this year.
1. Make a list if things you need .its easy to end up buying a bunch of useless items that you buy only because they are on sale. To stay focused make a list and stick to it.
2. Design a budget: one of the major mistakes I made last year was not outlining a budget for myself.  So I ended up spending a lot then I should have
3. Research before hand: Its best to check various stores for price differences and the discounts they will be offering before making the actual purchase.  Its also better to see if the particular item ( lets say clothes or makeup) suits you? See swatches reviews of products online so that you know your are purchasing the right product
4.  Use the coupons. You would be surprised to know but many stores have special coupons which can be added to your purchase hence help you save up more money. Search online for  coupons print them or save them on your phone so that you can use them on Black friday
5.Place combined order to save up on shipping, one of my best tricks on saving money on black Friday is placing a big order
Many online stores offer free shipping when you place an order of certain amount.
So when is Black Friday 2017 in Pakistan?
This year it is on 24th November 2017. Its actually the last Friday of the month November. So the date varies every year.
Black Friday Deals 2017
Many stores have already announced the various deals offered at their store. To know all about the deals and discounts its best to subscribe to the newsletter so that all the details are directly emailed you and you don't miss out on any thing .
One particular store whose Black Friday deals stood out to me most is just like last year they are offering crazy discounts and. Special deals on almost every item on their store.
