I recently got the opportunity to try a few products from a Chinese Makeup brand Vaen Beauty. Founded in 2019, brand has been creating beautifully crafted pieces of cosmetic which are not only pigmented but last pretty long as well.
VAEN Emerald Wonderland Palette
Details: Create a dazzling eye look with Emerald Wonderland Palette! The 4 highly pigmented velvety shades come in both matte and shimmers and blend beautifully to create either a soft, earthy look or make them pop with the richly pigmented, magnetic emerald. Diffuse and blend the buttery smooth shades dry, or dial up the color intensity by adding a drop of water and using them wet!
I picked this one in particular because of green colour story. I don't have that many green and yellow eyeshadows in my collection so this really caught my interest
The packaging is made of cardboard with magnetic lid so it is really secure and doesn't open on its own. There are 4 shades in total
Two of them are matte while two of them are sparkly with metallic finish. This gets 10/10 for me for practicality, colour scheme, pigmentation and design. There is also a small size mirror which ia good for application
Wizard is a beautiful metallic green shade . It is intensely pigmented and applies great with both fingers and brush
Lily is a matte yellow shade. Usually yellow eyeshadows either don't have a good pay off or they apply patchy. This on the other hand is very pigmented . My only complain with this eyeshadow is that it rubs off easily if you try to add anything on top of it. Patting this with a wet brush solves this problem. Overall it is really beautiful and bright
OMG is a gold shimmer shade. This is cool toned gold color with a hint of gun metal. Great shade to use on its own or for inner corner highlight.
Lastly we have brown down a matte brown shade . This is a great color for defining the crease. It can also be used for a smoky eye look.
Vaen Star Radiance Highlighter - Golden Hour
With it very futuristic design and magnetized lid this highlighter really knocked the socks off my feet. Like seriously how cool is the wave like pattern embossed of the highlighter. The mirror included is really good quality.

The shimmer particles are of variable size so when they catch the light they give crystal like effect to the face. Golden Hour is like a champagne gold colour. Really beautiful and suitable for all skin tones. I love to use this to emphasize my chesk bones and add light to the inner corner of my eye. The shimmer glow is almost blinding.
Vaen Liquid Eyeliner in White
I prefer gel eyeliner over liquid eyeliner but this liquid eyeliner in pen packaging redefined the flexibility of liquid formula. I choose this in white color as it is quite trendy these days.

The pen itself is heavy has a beautiful metallic packaging. It is really well made and screams quality and finery. The bristles are soft yet firm and help to draw lines in fluid motion. This a matte liquid liner so once it dries down it is matte no glossy finish. Colour white is quite pigmented and a single swipe deposits really good colour on the lids. I love this for creating intricate designs and patterns on my face
Vaen Wonder Brow Brow Gel in Ash Grey
I am obsessed with laminated brows these days but these are so pricey so I am looking for good eyebrow gels that can help me achieve defined eyebrows. This wonder brow gel looked promising on the website and so into my cart it went

Just like the eyeliner this has a beautiful solid packaging. What surprised me the most was the dual design of the bristles. As you can see on one shade the bristles are quite close to each other while on the other side they are spaced apart. Ths gel is slightly tinged and it has good hold for holding the brow hairs in place. The gel does deposit a bit of colour to the brows but it is okay it is not heavily pigmented. I like this one for fluffy defined eyebrows
