[Review] Holika Holika Lash Correcting Mascara Hyper Curling and Define Volume

I am not a big fan of korean mascara's mainly because they are so hard to remove and I lose eyelashes during the process. But I have finally found a wonderful duo from Holika Holika which has completely changed my opinion regarding asian mascaras

Features

A double-coating mascara that powerfully fixes the alluring C-curls all day long.

The innovative toothbrush-like mascara brush applies the mascara thoroughly to the eyelashes. The powerful swim-proof mascara keeps the eyelashes neat without smearing even while you swim

The packaging is very cool and unique. Instead of using the standard cylindrical plastic tubes these mascaras have a lip gloss inspired squeeze tubes. The lengthening mascara has majestic green tube while the volume mascara is royal purple in color.

#01 Hyper Curling :

V-cutting brush offers strong fixing effect and extended fiber formula stretched eyelashes firmly.

The mascara brush is shaped like a toothbrush. The bristles are made of plastic and go a great job of separating and lengthening the eyelashes. Another thing worth mentioning is the fibers laced formula which adds body and length to the lash hair .

I have medium length lashes so I really love the lengthening effect this gives to my lashes. It also adds beautiful curl and makes my eyes look bigger and more doll like. Since the formula is waterproof , it holds the curl and does not flake at all .

#02 Define Volume:

Zigzag form brush offers bold volume on eyelashes with its volume powder content.

this has to be my most favorite korean mascara of all time. First of all I really love the tiny screw shaped brush. It is very easy to use and gets all of lash hair easily ( even the corner lashes) . The formula is wet but buildable and with few strokes you can add dramatic volume to the eyelashes. Since the formula is waterproof. Your eyelashes look fabulous the whole time and don't droop at all. I reach out for this one the most as I like thick voluminous lashes

One of the cons of these mascara is the removal. It is pretty hard to remove with regular balm and oil cleansers . So Holika Holika has exclusive biphased eye makeup removers which easily remove these mascara without much effort. Surprisingly the eye makeup remover has a very gentle non irritating formula so its does not makes the eye water.

I would recommend these to everyone who is looking for a good lengthening and volumizing mascara.

[Review] HOLIKA HOLIKA My Fave Mood Eye Palette (Matte Magique Collection) Daizy

Today's review is very special because I am reviewing of the hotest, most ,coveted , drool worthy palette of the year from Holika Holika

As soon as the pallete was revealed on the I the brand's official IG page I knew I had to buy this as soon as possible

HOLIKA HOLIKA # My Fave mood Eye Palette is actually the continuation of the popular quads from the brand. But this time around they have a glitter free combination and almost all of the eyeshadows have a matte base. There is a beautiful embossed pattern on the eyeshadows. Unfortunately the beautiful pattern wore down after a few uses

The Daizy Palette is inspired by the afternoon tones and is a warm tone palette. There is also a cool tone palette called Mooney

A ninth-pan eye shadow palette features colors that inspired from the vibe of afternoon and dawn, presents glitter to matte shadows in one palette.

Helps create multiple glamorous look with base, medium and point colors.

Glides on skin smoothly with fine texture and offers a natural flush on your eyes.

Highly pigmented shadow with good color payoff.

Daizy: Features colors warm like a cup of cocoa in the afternoon.

Moony: Features cool dusky dawn-like colors varies from violet to lavender.

The first thing you will notice about this 9 pan pallete is the slim and sleek packaging, made out of velvet like plastic and a clear top the palette is very travel friendly. I am honestly not bothered by the lack of mirror and flimsy sponge applicators ( like who uses them anyways)

Surprisingly the eyeshadows emit a subtle floral scent. It is actually very pleasant

The texture of the eyeshadows is very buttery and soft. Matte eyeshadows are notorious for being chalky and hard but these are super soft and easy to blend. You can use your fingers or a brush for application. There are not patchy at all and fall out is zero. All shadows are very pigmented and will show up easily on fair to medium skin color. The last really long on eyelids too. I wore these to work and my color was still there after 8 hrs.

I am sharing both eyelid and arm swatches of each color. I have also shared an eye makeup using this palette.

Shade 01 #Sunbow (matte)

A soft muted tea pink color perfect to use as a base

Shade 02 #Lazy Afternoon

An off white color to emphasize the brow bone or use as a base color on the lids

Shade 03 #Daydream (matte)

Daydream milky beige color great as all over lid color

Shade 04 #Daisy (matte base with slight sparkle )

this is a very interesting eyeshadow. It is a rose pink color with small gold flecks running through the formula. Very subtle and beautiful.

Shade 05 #Dream all day (matte)

the darkest shade of this eyeshadow palette. I like to use as an eyeliner on add subtle definition to my outer corners

Shade 06 #Hey sunshine

A beautiful apricot beige color with a beautiful subtle sparkle.

Shade 07 #Cocoa Berry (matte)

a grey toned cocoa color. I like to use as a crease color and to also as a contour shade for my nose

Shade 08 #Like Magic (matte)

A yellow toned brown color . I like this as a base color.

Shade 09 #Vintage caramel (matte)

A very subtle brown color . I use this for contour and to add definition to my lower lid .

This is a really wonderful matte eyeshadow pallete. The quality surpasses all that I have in my makeup collection. Ever since I have got my hands on this , I have been using this every single day. The colors work well with each other and can also be used with other eyeshadows. I find this to perfect for traveling as some of the colors can be used for eyebrows, nose shading/contouring and as eyeliner so this just saves space in your makeup bag. I will be buying the Mooney palette soon as this is a complete gem of a product.

[Review] LipLief Steaming Lip Balm and LipLief Glowy Lip Oil

Beauty products are a major contributor of non recyclable waste so it is very heartwarming to see cosmetic brands becoming environment conscious and taking measures to curb the growing problem of pollution

LipLief is one such brand, not only embraces veganism, the brand also uses recyclable paper packaging for it products. The products are packed in white and transparent plastic so it can be recycled easily

LipLief currently has three award winning products to its name. The Liplief Steaming Sleeping Lip mask, Liplief Steaming Lip Balm and Liplief Glowy Lip Oil.

The packaging is very minimal. A nice clean design with the logo printed in green reflects the brands message quite clearly

Coming to the ingredients list all of the products contain 20,000 ppm low molecular weight moisturizing ingredients, Hyaluronic Acid, Bogum Cactus Extracts, Jojoba Oil and Shea Butter. All of them are fragrance free, and dermatological tested so this is suitable for sensitive skin types

Liplief Steaming Lip Balm:

Liplief Steaming Lip Balm comes in two shades ''alive'' and ''all day''. I find the formula very comfortable to wear on daily basis, it is not sticky and hydrates my lips so they feel soft and smooth all day. #alive has a sheer red color its is not strong or opaque like a lipstick. I like to use this make my face look more lively and presentable in the morning. For days when your lips are too chapped and sore to wear lipstick this lip balm is your knight in the shiny armour.

''all day'' is a transparent lip balm which is more of a unisex product ( can be used by both men and women ). It adds a light shine to the lips. I use this at night and sometimes to prep my lips for lipstick

Liplief Glowy Lip Oil is housed in a lipgloss like tube with a semi fuzzy/silicon applicator. It has a faint herb scent derived from lavender and eucalyptus. The texture s thick and coats the lips evenly, it also adds a nice sheen to the lips and makes them plump and soft. I like to add this over matte lipsticks as a topcoat or when my lips feel extra dry
