[Review] ARENCIA WILD FIG SHAMPOO BAR

Wild Fig is a rejuvenating shampoo bar for damaged and dyed hair. Experience the aromatic shower with Wild Fig

INGREDIENTS
Soap Noodles, Adansonia Digitata Fruit Extract, Feigen Fruit Extract, Tomato Fruit Powder, Apricot Kernel Oil, Olive Oil, Glycerin, Sodium Coco Sulphate, Sodium Cocoyl Apple Amino Acids, Citric Acid, Feigen Fragrance Oil, CI 16035

Plastic bottles have become quite a big problem when it comes to garbage disposal. Do you know  it takes roughly 1000 years for a plastic bottle to decompose. Plastic is one the main reason why the marine life is being destroyed and our water is poisoned with toxic chemicals. As a beauty enthusiast I am finding alternatives to reduce my carbon foot print. This 54g of Aremcia Shampoo bar is equivalent to 4 regular bottles of shampoo.

I am going to give this 10/10 for presentation. First off its packaged in a recycled paper with minimal plastic usage. Then the shampoo bar itself is quite pleasing to look at. I love the small noodles and the small triangles of citrus embedded in the bar
Bar soaps tend to become mushy easily but these holds onto its shape no matter what

Generally regular soap bars tend to dry out hair and make them more tangled and unmanageable but not with this , because its a shampoo bar not a soap bar. This shampoo bar has intense fragrance. The size is perfect to hold in the palm. I rub this in my hair and gentle massage the shampoo on my scalp and rinse it with water. Apart from the fact that my shower smells heavenly every time I use this, it also makes my hair smell great, look shiny and voluminous. I am genuinely impressed with this shampoo bar and I would buy more variants in future. This mighty be a bit pricier than 4 shampoo bottles but considering the bigger picture. This small step can make a huge difference to the environment

You can buy this ARENCIA WILD FIG SHAMPOO BAR from goryeocosmetics

[REVIEW] Isntree Green Tea Fresh Toner

I have seen a lot of Green Tea toner in the market . It is actually a very popular ingredient among oily skin folks . Green Tea brightens skin , it calms down redness and soothes skin along with regulating sebum production.

I picked this one for my oily skin as it has been behaving quite odd for the last few months .

Features
A cup of tea that your skin drinks, heal your tired skin.
It contains 80% of grean tea extract from Jeju, giving refreshing touch with light texture.
It can be used for acute and sensitive skin without irritation due to the use of green grade ingredients
corresponding to EWG grade 1 to 2 that passed the skin irritation test.

Ingredients:

Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Water, Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract, Centella Asiatica Extract, Salix Alba Bark Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium Fruit Extract, Pinus Palustris Leaf Extract, Ulmus Davidiana Root Extract, Oenothera Biennis Flower Extract, Pueraria Lobata Root Extract, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Beta-Glucan, Disodium EDTA, Hydroxyacetophenone

The bottle is pretty. Its has the green tea tint  along with a white cap. Compared to other green tea toners I have tried in the past this is my first time seeing a toner which looks like green tea. Personally I really love the Amber color and the green tea aroma. It makes the whole presentation more realistic

I expected this to lean on the watery water side something which can be layered mutiole times but its more hydrating and has a bit of an oil like feel to it. Its not heavy by any means but you feel that slightly dewy effect once it absorbs into the skin.
I use it in multiple ways. Somedays I like to make a toner pack for my face . Somedays I like to layer it twice for added moisture/hydration and somedays I just swipe this gentle on my face with a cotton pad.

I have noticed that my skin looks very calm and less red post usage. My skin is also behaving with sebum production . Overall this is a really good toner and I think this can work for all skin types because of its hydrating nature

[Review] EGLIPS Superslim Auto Long Eyeliner Extreme Edition in Extreme Caramel

I am very picky when it comes to eyeliner. Specially because I have hooded eyes and if I line my eyes with a thick line it makes my eyes look small plus all the eyeshadow work is lost. So I always look for fine eyeliner tips which can create the thinnest line possible

This eyeliner seriously surprised me a lot. The tip is 1.5mm which is why the eyeliner is pretty thin. This has a twist up mechanism so you dont have to sharpen it again and again

Quantity: 0.05g

Features
A slim, 1.5mm eyeliner that expresses delicate and intricate eyelines with the thin pencil lead.
The soft gel formula colors the eyelines deeply and easily without stimulating the eyes. The powerful multi-proof eyeliner boasts outstanding fixation and tenacity.

The thin lead is very helpful when it comes to drawing a thin line. I can now line as close to my lash line as possible with this eyeliner. The anti smudge and water proof claims are 100% accurate. This stays put no matter what until you remove it with an oil based cleanser

The texture is creamy and glides on the lids so smoothly. The color is nice milk chocolate brown. It's intensely pigmented so you don't have to go over the same spot over and over again multiple times just one swipe is enough. Brown colors are great when it comes to adding subtle definition to the eyes

Personally I am very impressed by this eyeliner. It's quite affordable, pigmented, easy to carry in the purse for touch ups and come in variety of beautiful everyday colors.
I will definitely be purchasing multiples of this eyeliner in future as it has become a holygrail for me

Review] CLIO Kill Cover Pink Glow Cream Cushion

Gave in to hype this time and tried this super popular CLIO Kill Cover Pink Glow Cream Cushion from CLIO. This cushion from what I have gathered from my research is quite popular in South Korea right now.

I have tried a cushion from Clio previously. I liked the coverage and the finish but the pink undertone didn't go well with my yellow skin tone. Luckily this cushion has more of that yellow undertone so it matches my skin color quite well

The packaging is quite pretty . The cover is duo chrome pale pink and has reflective properties. The cushion inside has a cream colored theme with a tear drop sponge. Overall its sturdy and has a nice mirror

Features

The cream texture melt into warmth of skin providing natural flawless glowing skin.
Quick and easy makeup for smooth skin at anywhere and anytime and keep bright color without dullness.
Containing 6 ceramide ingredients keeps your skin moisturized for a long time.

Upon peeling the cover I found a two toned base product . Unlike the regular soaked cushion this as a creamy foundation. The beige side was greater in proportion as compared to the pink one. I swatched each side individually and found out that the beige side was moist and provided coverage while the pink side added tone up effect along with glow to the face

I like to dip the sponge more on the beige side and use the pink side on selective areas that look dull and discolored . This cushion gives a beautiful glow to the skin . The coverage leans more on the sheer to medium side. This can blur imperfections to some extend but you do need concealer on top to hide all the imperfections. I have oily skin so with time my skin looks greasy . To battle my sebum problem I apply a light layer of translucent powder on top. This way my face looks slightly dewy but not greasy.

For my oily skin this cushion is working quite well for cold winter season. Its stays put for 5 hrs without looking patchy but I think in humid summer weather this is going to slide of my face right away. I would recommend this if you have dry to combination skin. For oily skin folks winter season would be a better choice to use this cushion

[Review] ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Ampoule

This was actually a recommended product. Formulated By Samsung Medicos the brand is quite new for me
So far they have a basic skincare line in their inventory. I tried the ampoule from the brand. I haven't used that many ceramide containing skincare products so this was a very new experience for me

The packaging is minimal yet unique. At first glance you might think that this is a frosted glass bottle but its actually a light weight plastic bottle with a glass dropper

Features
A fresh and moist ampoule that combines the fresh nourishment of an essence and the smooth moisture of oil.
Protects and strengthens the skin barrier with quintuple Ceramide, Cholesterol, and Fatty Acid.
The double moisture layer of Hyaluronic Acid and Panthenol moisturizes the skin with smooth elasticity.

The ampoule claims to be non sticky, protect skin barrier and give long lasting moisture, best for dry skins and will not ruin makeup

This ampoule has a milky texture so I initially imagined this to be oily and quite viscous but to my utter surprise this was quite easy to spread, absorbed quite easily and non sticky at all. I have been using this in the morning under my makeup and I like my smooth soft skin . Some serums/ ampoules tend to break the makeup base but this is a very makeup friendly product. This does has a light lavender scent. Personally I don't mind it at all but purhaps sensitive skin folks might find this a bit worrisome. I didn't get any acne post usage so I am really enjoying this product

[Review] EGLIPS Oil Glow Powder Pact

This is one of the popular products from the brand Eglips and since glowing/glass like skin is trending I wanted to see if this powder could help me achieve that makeup look in some way

Features
Sebum absorbing powder for smooth skin.
The skin shine brighter depending on the light angle.
Contains extract from lavender, rosemary, common thyme, peppermint, borage, sage leaf, jasmine and chamomile flower.

The packaging is quite simple. A small pink compact which holds 8g of product. There is also a small puff along with a mirror included in the compact.

The color of the powder is actually pink in pan. I examined the powder and on close inspection I noticed minute/ tiny shimmer particles running through the powder formula

Though the powder comes off as pink on the  puff it translates as a glowy translucent powder on skin which is quite good. I have noticed that this keep the sebum under control to some extend but makes the skin look glowy at the same time. I usually tend to skip powders in winter's as they accentuate dry spots and look very flakey on top of foundation in cold weather but this just busts all those winter makeup myths. Not only does this imparts a healthy glow to the skin it also brightens it at the same time. This has become my go to winter makeup product these days

[Review] moonshot Multi Protection Tinted Moisture SPF30 PA++ 40ml

This product was launched earlier this year but back then I was more curious about the cushion than this so I picked the cushion . These days my skin has been looking extra dull so I wanted to try a new base/primer .something that could moisture and brighten my complexion

Features

Contains hyaluronic acid complex and panthenol to reduce keratin and make skin radiant.
It replenishes moisture without greasy and express smooth skin.
It brightens skin tone with one touch and turns the skin lively.

The description ticked off all of my skin concerns so my expectations were quite high

The packaging is luxe. It comes in a pretty pink squeeze tube packaging with a pump. I find the pump to be quite hygienic handy as it dispenses the right amount of product each time

Ingredients:

Water, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butylene Glycol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Titanium Dioxide (CI 77891), Dicaprylyl Carbonate, Ethylhexyl Salicylate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Glycerin, Niacinamide, Pentylene Glycol, Gossypium Herbaceum (Cotton) Seed Oil, Hyaluronic Acid, Hydrolyzed Hyaluronic Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate, Diphenylsiloxy Phenyl Trimethicone, Octyldodecanol, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Triceteareth-4 Phosphate, Glycol Stearate, Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate, PEG-2 Stearate, Potassium Cetyl Phosphate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, PEG-10 Dimethicone, Aluminum Hydroxide, Squalane, Stearic Acid, Tromethamine, Ethylhexylglycerin, Polysorbate 60, Adenosine, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Sorbitan Isostearate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Polyglyceryl-10 Stearate, Panthenol, Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Glyceryl Arachidonate, Glyceryl Linolenate, Biotin, Retinyl Palmitate, Carbomer, Disodium EDTA, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance(Parfum), Ultramarines (CI 77007), Mica (CI 77019), Iron Oxides (CI 77491)

This has a nice fragrance. This primer is pink in color and when you apply it to the face it initially gives a bit of brightening to the skin .

It actually quite easy to spread and moisturizes skin quite well without enhancing skin texture.

I have used this under cushion and bottle foundations and it has worked like magic both times. To me this is a actually a mutiple benefit product : it brightens skin, gives sun protection, moisturizes skin and also sits so well under makeup as a primer

I haven't seen this help with pores or sebum ( nor does it claim to do so ) but it does not enhance the sebum production on my face either. Personally I find this to be a really good primer for the current cold weather and my oily / dehydrated skin
