[Review] SHANGPREE Pore Tightening Mask

Shangpree is no stranger when it comes to Spa Care. Infact they are one of the most widely known and trusted Spa in Korea. Like most of the popular brands counterfeit products is a really big issue . Shangpree is popular for its Modelling masks but I am am not a fan of modelling mask. So I picked a pore mask since huge pores is one of my skin concerns.

How To Use
Take an appropriate amount, spread evenly on the skin, wait 20~30 minutes for the mask to dry, and wash off the mask with lukewarm water

The packaging is very luxurious. It has a very expensive feel to it ( see the embossed design on the box) I am very happy to see this mask packed in a tube . Makes it so much easy to apply it to the face. Also prevents the mask from drying out . So one thing that is a common trait with mud masks is that they dry out the skin / suck out all the moisture. Which is a good thing in my skincare dictionary as I have oily skin and I love good sebum / pore clearing mask. But many people like mud masks which retain moisture in the skin to some extend

So according to the directions you are supposed to let the mask dry completely and then wash it off with luke warm water. I applied a medium thickness layer on my face and let the mask dry for 20 mins. Then proceeded to wash it off with tap water.

The non stimulating part is true it makes the pores less noticeable and makes skin look clean without over drying it. I find this to be a winter friendly mask as it does not makes the skin dry like a desert . Pore mask like these are hard to find . Specially if you are searching in the drugstore section. I have become a fan of Shanpree the hype which surrounds the brand is real

[Review] NATURE REPUBLIC Botanical Orange Pore Pact

For someone who has crater like pores and active sebaceous glands who have the ability to produce enough oil to form an oil field. Pressed powders are a must have. For the last few months my skin has been very oily and the one thing that has been saving my skin from looking greasy are translucent powders

Now loose powders are not very practical for on the go touch ups as they blast everything within a 1 meter radius with a huge cloud of powder so I prefer keeping powder pacts in my purse

Inspired from the porous skin of an orange this pact has a cute packaging. Its looks like a cute orange sticker. The plastic is sturdy and the puff is very nice to apply powder

Features
The uniquely shaped Sponge Smoothing Powder covers the pores smoothly.
The pore-cover powder pact expresses the skin freshly by absorbing oily sebum.
Various plant extracts care sebum and pores and help soothe the sensitive skin.

I like the decent sized mirror in this pact. Very handy and practical. The powder looks slightly nude/ pink beige color in the pan but on my finger swatch it comes off white just like a translucent powder.

The powder is finely milled and pressed quite firmly in the pan so it does not kick up powder during application. I actually prefer the puff over brush but you can use a fluffy brush too

I have noticed that this works quite beautifully to smooth out the pores on my skin. It also sets my foundation and prevents it from creasing/moving through out the day. I am very pleased with the compact size , the nice puff and a built in mirror. I can easily touch up makeup on the go and my skin looks matte for 5-6 hours without touch ups

[Review] MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia Pack Foam Cleanser MISSHA Time Revolution

MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia range turned out to be a massive hit. All of the products from the range were well receive and loved. I have seen so many reviews of the MISSHA Time Revolution Artemisia essence so I tried out the cleanser to see if it was rave worthy or not

Features
A daily calming foam cleanser containing Artemisia annua L. Extract that soothes skin and absorbs impurities.
It can be used for foam cleanser and clay pack, recommended for those who have sensitive skin, who want to do wash-off pack.
It has multi function(clay pack+ cleansing foam) : reduces sebum, arrange skin texture and soothe the skin.

According to the description this is designed as a dual fucntional product. I works as a daily cleanser and can also be used as a clay pack. Personally these multitasking products are the best as they save money and time

How To Use
For cleanser: Take an appropriate amount, bubbles out, massage skin and then wash it off with lukewarm water.
For claypack: Take an appropriate amount and apply it over face except around eyes and lips, rest 1 minutes and then wash it off

The packaging is a regular squeeze tube with a really well metallic colored lid. Missha has maintained the gradient design on this cleanser too

The cleanser is green in color and has a paste like quality to it. It feels more like a mud/clay mask in terms of texture. I took a small amount and applied it to my wet face. I really enjoyed the herbal scents and the mild bubbles this created on my face. This is actually very mild. And my skin felt calm after use

As a cleanser this dry down after 10-15 depends on how thick/thin it's applied. Most of the clay masks tend to over dry the skin but this kept my skin moisturized. I know the directions advice to wash it off after 1 minute but I just left it dry for the purpose if experiment. I think this is a good gentle cleanser and clay pack for cold weather that can be enjoined by all skin types.

[Review,] MAY ISLAND Audrey Diapearl Cushion

Yet another addition to my cushion collection. My experience with May Island has been pretty good and I wanted to try this really inexpensive 10$ cushion from the brand to see if worked as good or better than an expensive cushion

The packaging is really beautiful. I love the holographic box and the silver glittery cushion case. ( reminds me of moonshot ). They have added a fancy dial like button on the side to open the cushion ( Audrey Hepburn ??? )

When I first looked at the cushion sponge I was a bit scared because it looked straight orange in the packaging. And I am no Ompa Lompa . But when I dipped my finger in the cushion the color came off as yellow based and my color. The cushion formula is watery and very moisturizing. The puff is very soft and bouncy. The one thing that I noticed was that the pink plastic lid inside did not close properly on this cushion.

This cushion gives a dewy finsh to the skin . For my oily skin , dewy foundations / base products tend to look greasy after few hours so I set it with powder but if you have dry, normal or combination skin this is something that you are going to like this one a lot in winter/autumn.

The coverage is medium and covers maximum imperfection. Due to its dewy texture it can transfer easily onto tissue paper/ blotting paper, so if you frequently touch your face I suggest you apply translucent powder on top to lock it in place

Overall this is a good dewy cushion for the price of 10$. Its pretty, has really good coverage and makes skin appear clear like a glass.

Review] moonshot Stick Extreme Pro Seiene

Reve De Paris collection is the latest makeup launch from the Brand Moonshot. The theme revolves around romantic dream and French street. When I first saw this advertised on Instagram I wanted to get the whole collection because the rich fall hues and rose color was calling my name. I had such a hard time holding myself back from adding the whole collection to my cart.

After a lot of reasoning and self control I got only one lipstick in shade ''Seiene '' from the collection.

Features

The packaging is color coded so it matches the lipstick bullet . Compared to a regular lipstick the size is actually small which is actually very cute and purse friendly. I really appreciate the fact that moonshot cut down the size but kept the quantity same for the lipstick

The color is a muted/nude pink with brown undertones. The color looks so beautiful on its own as an everyday lipcolor or a base to enhance darker lipsticks or as gradient lips

For some reason I thought that the lipstick would be matte and drying but the first swipe proved me I was wrong. This is extremely creamy and glides on the lips easily . The creamy texture dries down to a smooth powder like finish. My lips look smooth , beautiful and I can't see any creasing. Due to its creamy texture its not smudge proof/ transfer proof. The lasting power is around 4-5 hours without eating or drinking

My only regret is not getting more colors from the range because its so beautiful. The color is a universal nude that will complement all skin colors. Moonshot once again has created a master piece with their new collection. Its beautiful, sturdy and appropriate for all skin colors

The best way to relax myself after long ER shifts and Night Calls is to treat myself with a skin pampering session. And sheet mask is an important part of my weekly relaxing routine

BEYOND Herb Garden Mask range a lot options for different skin issues. I picked the Calendula version as the weather is becoming cold and my skin would appreciate the extra moisture.

Features
This sheet mask is infused with Rose Hip/Black Tea/Lotus/Calendula/Tea Tree/Peony/Hibiscus.
The efficacious formula is loaded with antioxidants which protects the skin, decreases inflammation and stimulates collagen production.

The packaging as you can see is very beautiful . Each mask is carefully folded inside the foil packet. This mask has a mild Calendula scent. It is very natural and works great for the purpose of aromatherapy

The mask itself is very thin and drenched in slightly viscous water like essence. The thin sheet is very delicate and little bit of rough handling can tear it easily. The essence itself is very light and non sticky. I applied this mask for over 35 mins and after removal my skin felt so soft and plump

For my me this mask ticks all the boxes on my requirement list and has made it to the favourites list. Not only this smells nice . Its thin, calming and perfect for oily skin
