Club Clio Global Haul

 I made my first purchase at the Club Clio website a few weeks back and the experience was actually pretty good

They have a lot of products on discounted price and you can get tons of free samples with your purchase. I paid around 50$ ( that includes shipping ). You can get free shipping if your order exceed the 60$ value but them you can't use any discount code with it 

All the items of my order were securely wrapped in bubble wrap packaging. Even though a few of my items were in liquid form . 

I will start off with the most expensive item of my haul. Since my acne is all over the place I decided to buy a BB cream specifically for acne prone skin. The Dermatory Pro Trouble Acne BB cream has a really travel friendly packaging. I haven't opened it yet but I will be sharing my thoughts once I do . The ingredients list contains Salicylic acid and Centella Asiatica 

Next off we have the PeriPera Double cover cushion. You know I enjoyed the previous ( bright pink Peripera Cushion a lot so I have high hopes for this one as well ) overall the packaging is thin and sleek

I also bought the Peripera Oil Capture Cover Powder. It is often out of stock on the Club Clio website so figured that it must be a best seller at the website . The hexagonal puff is actually pretty cute 

Ssin voted the Peripera Longwear Cover Concealer as best of 2020 . So I was pretty curious about the performance of this one. In the packaging this looks very pigmented lets see how this works for my flaky skin type

I added the Peripera Lip and Eye remover because it was just 3$ on the website. It is a biphasic makeup remover. Hopefully it will be non irritating for my sensitive eyes 

I am not a big fan of peachy/orangy blushes . I picked this peripera pure blushed sunshine cheek one for my sister the color is actually more of a muted dried rose shade. Can't really figure out why it came out so Orangy in pictures 

I am running low on makeup setting spray. So I added this Ink Setting All Day makeup fixer by Peripera to my cart. The spray nozzle is pretty good and distributes the product evenly on the face

The final product from Peripera that I bought is the Milk Blur Rosy Toneup Cream. You all might know that by now that I am a big fan of tone up creams this one has more of a skin tint. I hope this works with my skin color . 

I bought a cute tiny Quad from Twinkle Pop Pearl Flex Glitter Eye Palette is a sister brand of peripera. The glitter in this palette are pretty sparkly. I plan to share a very detailed review of this next on my blog so keep your eyes peeled for that 

And lastly we have this cute travel size handcream set from Healing Bird. I have a self diagnosed OCD or maybe it is the virus which has turned me into this hand washing maniac. But this trio have some really lovely scents so I added it to the cart without any second thought. 

This wraps up my haul. Club Clio gave me samples too with the order but I gave them away to my brother . Out of all these products which interests you the most ?

[Review] moonshot Micro Correctfit Foundation 201

moonshot Micro Correctfit cushion was my favorite base makeup last year. I loved the longevity and the finish of it. So I was very excited to see a foundation version of my favourite cushion

The packaging is similar to all moonahot products. A beautiful galaxy inspired purple box in which the foundation is enclosed

The bottle itself is simple and made out of frosted glass with a purple plastic pump and ombre purple/pink cap

Features
A light and powerful foundation that covers the skin perfectly with the High Covering Pigment.
Dense micro-particles fit delicately on the skin, completing smooth, porcelain-like skin expressions.
The long-wearing foundation covers the skin without the necessity for inconvenient makeup correction.

I picked the shade 201 as the color match my skin tone. The first time when I applied to my skin I will admit I was confused. Because unlike my favorite cushion. The foundation looked patchy and uneven on mu face. There was considerable bunching/ cakey effect on the sides of my nose moreover my face looked very dry ( please note that I have oily skin so this unusual dryness was very new for me)

So I read the directions carefully and found out that I forgot to shake the bottle before using. So on my second application I shook the bottle well, and used Moonshot Multi Protection Tinted moisturizer as a base and Viola my base makeup looked perfect ( if I say so myself)

I have noticed that you really don't need powder on top to set the foundation as it already contains particles to set the base. Moreover applying a thin layer with a cushion sponge worked best for me. The finish initially looks semi matte but after few minutes it completely sets to a velvet like matte finish. In terms of coverage this provides slightly cover than the cushion. It also lasts a bit longer too.

If you loved the moonshot Micro Correctfit cushion I highly recommend you to try this as this is a slightly upgraded version which will last you a lot longer than a cushion

Review] moonshot Stick Extreme Pro Seiene

Reve De Paris collection is the latest makeup launch from the Brand Moonshot. The theme revolves around romantic dream and French street. When I first saw this advertised on Instagram I wanted to get the whole collection because the rich fall hues and rose color was calling my name. I had such a hard time holding myself back from adding the whole collection to my cart.

After a lot of reasoning and self control I got only one lipstick in shade ''Seiene '' from the collection.

Features

The packaging is color coded so it matches the lipstick bullet . Compared to a regular lipstick the size is actually small which is actually very cute and purse friendly. I really appreciate the fact that moonshot cut down the size but kept the quantity same for the lipstick

The color is a muted/nude pink with brown undertones. The color looks so beautiful on its own as an everyday lipcolor or a base to enhance darker lipsticks or as gradient lips

For some reason I thought that the lipstick would be matte and drying but the first swipe proved me I was wrong. This is extremely creamy and glides on the lips easily . The creamy texture dries down to a smooth powder like finish. My lips look smooth , beautiful and I can't see any creasing. Due to its creamy texture its not smudge proof/ transfer proof.  The lasting power is around 4-5 hours without eating or drinking

My only regret is not getting more colors from the range because its so beautiful. The color is a universal nude that will complement all skin colors. Moonshot once again has created a master piece with their new collection. Its beautiful, sturdy and appropriate for all skin colors

[Review] moonshot Micro Correct Fit Cushion 201 Beige

I like to call this the  second installment in the moonshot Microfit cushion series. This cushion is also endorsed by Lisa from Black Pink

Moonshot is a korean cosmetic brand launched by YG Entertainment. The brand is popular for its Celebrity endorsed makeup

I also love the galaxy inspired box ( too pretty to throw it out ).This time around I opened the box from the back ( that is why the front is completely intact).

 The packaging is quite similar to the Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion except that its more pink purple and the case is slightly larger. To me this looks a lot prettier than the holographic case to be honest

The case is made out of plastic. for the price tha quality of the case is not lux but its not bad either.  This sells for 25.45$ on Jolse website just like other Moonshot cushion but you can always save a few bucks and grab this on sale at Jolse. So far no refill is available but I am sure Moonshot will lauch them soon.  doesn't come with a refill and two the plastic feels a little flimsy. There are three shades in the range this time around. 101 Ivory and 201 Beige and 301 Honey. I picked 201 for this cushion as well because I like my foundation to look natural.

Features
A cushion completely covers up dull skin, blemishes so that it helps express flawless skin. It is excellent at the persistence of long-lasting while making skin look smooth and supple.

There is a decent sized mirror and a pastel purple teardrop shaped ruby cell air puff. The  puff is squishy, soft and very well stitched. This particular cushion comes in 15g packaging which is great since all the previous moonshot cushions had 12g of product in them.

The shade is nice match for my skin color but it has a bit of a pink base to it. I can detect a bit of fragrance too ( I have a stuffy nose so my sense of smell is not that accurate at the moment). like its predecessor this too has very liquid-y consistency but with more pigmented. Now that I have tried and tested this along side the Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion I have noticed that this does a far more better job at covering blemishes and imperfections.

The finish of this is satin. Its semi matte and feels very comfortable.
Since the weather is cold and dry at the moment I can't comment if it will hold up in humid weather or not but so far it blends easily and stays put for 8hrs as well.  Though it has a slightly dewy finish it does not transfer to cellphone screen. Moreover I didn't see it oxide to a darker shade.  It did wear off a little bit off my nose ( habitual of touching my nose during the day). My fave did get oily after few hours but thw sebum didn't break the foundation or cause creasing. A few pats with a blotting paper and touch up with a cushion puff made my skin look fresh again.

Speaking of touch ups this cushion has a great formula which can layered up several times without looking gross or pilling.  I have layered/ touch up my face several times and it did well on each re-application

For dry skin types Moonshot has launched a special primer to go along with personally I have oily skin so I didn't felt the need to use a primer. As this has SPF 50+ PA+++ I skip sunscreen on days I wear this. Now that I have tried this I actually like this a lot more than Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion.

I am so happy that Moonshot has increased the volume of product in this cushion

[Review] Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion 201 Beige

So I got my hands on the popular Lisa Cushion aka Moonshot Micro Setting Fit Cushion. Incase you are wondering who is Lisa she is member of Korean Pop music band Black Pink. 

Moonshot is a korean mid range cosmetic brand launched by YG Entertainment. The successful launch of their products (and ofcourse celebrity endorsements) has made them quite popular in the cosmetic industry.

I will start with the packaging which is quite eye-catching. The brand definitely thought out of the box by placing this cushion in galaxy inspired box (lol get the pun? ) I don't think I will ever have the strength to throw away this beautiful packaging.

On opening the box I was met with a beautiful holographic cushion case . I like how they balanced the glittery holo by keeping the sides of case matte black.

Compared to the cushion foundations I have in my stash this plastic case looks slim. This retails for 25.45$ on jolse website which is steep for a cushion because one it doesn't come with a refill and two the plastic feels a little flimsy. There are two shades in the range 101 Ivory and 201 Beige. Even though I have fair skin I picked 201 beige because swatch of shade 101 looked very light for my skin color.

How To Use
Use the puff to gently apply from the inner center of the face outwards.

Volume : 12g

There is a  regular size mirror and a pastel purple tear drop shaped ruby cell air puff. The  puff is soft and good quality. The straps are definitely well stitched. I never knew what I was missing out on until I tried out the puff and realized that the shape of tear drop could improve the makeup application considerably. This puff makes  foundation  and concealer application under my eyes and around my nose easy.

When I tore of the seal on the cushion I was so happy to see that shade matched my skin perfectly. The formula has a mild fragrance and is lightweight. Due to its liquid-y consistency it blends really nice without settling into pores and fine lines. This initially feels moist and dewy but after a minute or so the foundation drys down to almost matte finish. So you really don't need powder on top to set this.

The color remains true to its original shade throughout the day. (didn't oxidize to a weird orange color or anything) The coverage is medium and builable. I dont have any pimples on my face at the moment to cover but I applied this over an eyeliner and I could see the hint of line visible underneath the foundation.

This lasted for 7 hours on my face with a little bit of fading on my nose area. ( I have a bad habit of subconsciously touching my nose so the base makeup often tends to rub off by the end of the day) . But the rest of my face looked presentable. My cheeks and forhead looked dewy due to sebum seeping through. But there was no creasing or gross island like texture by the end of the day. I have worn this several times and luckily this didnt clog my pores

This is definitely transferproof and humidity proof. I would suggest wearing this on its own because primer underneath this foundation for some reason accentuate texture of skin. This cushion is definitely a keeper as it its a two in one product ( SPF 50+ PA+++) I only wish that it came with a refill and had a little more product than 12g.
