[Review] Innisfree 3-minute Green Tea Skin Pack

I have seem people do DIY toner packs on daily basis. Its convenient and very effective. I was scrolling through Jolse Catalogue when this 3 mins pack from Innisfree caught my attention.

Now I have been going through a very busy routine and my skin often gets neglected. So this looked like a perfect quick fix for my moisture deprived skin

Description:

A skin pack which provides the combined benefits of skin moisturisation, smoothening, and cooling.
This S.O.S. morning pack is excellent for quick yet effective moisture replenishment and to prep your skin for your makeup.

The Tencel sheets soaked in fresh green tea water adheres to skin perfectly, and it is infused with 2% panthenol to strengthen skin barrier, as well as relieving tightened skin.

The packaging is somewhat slim, green tub with a white lid. It also comes with a pair of transparent tweezers. I didn't remove the seal completely because it helps the pads from drying up fast. Though the pads are completely soaked in essence I just wanted to take a precautionary step.

A single tub contains 100 round sheets. The sheets are very thin and soft so its best to double check. As tweezers can pull multiple sheets at a time. To me the diameter of the sheet looks big enough to cover the whole cheek. I like to use these in the morning when I am Ironing my clothes for work. That way I multi-task at a very short time

These pads are scented. Its says green tea on the packaging but to me the scent feels a bit artificial. Still its a nice scent and not too strong.

I have oily /dehydrated skin that is breaking out at the moment. These 3 mins mask pack not only soothed my skin but also regulated moisture and sebum balance of my skin
The pads remain moist even after 3 mins of use. Personally I am enjoying these a lot. They add a nice layer of hydration to my skin. Make my skin look fresh and plump and help with oil control. I will buy these again. To me these have now become an essential part of my morning skincare routine

[Review] TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Sherbet Cleanser

TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea line is one of the best selling products of the brand. I have tried the Watery cream and really liked the light weight formula.
I wanted to try a few balm/sherbet cleansers and this looked interesting so I decided to give it a try and see if it lived up to the hype

Features
A mild and moist sherbet-type cleanser that eliminates makeups and skin wastes with fermented green tea.
Olive, Green Tea Seed, Avocado, Peppermint, and Grape Seed oils nourish the dry and taut skin. Naturally fermented green tea tends the skin healthily and moistly with anti-oxidant and moisture-saving effects.

The packaging is simple. A white tub with green lettering printed on it. I searched for a spatula in the box and couldn't find any .
Quantity: 85 gm

I was really surprised by the light green sherbet cleanser. I looked very pretty and smelled nice as well. However due to the warm weather the solid sherbet form was slightly melted and a some product was leaking from the sides ( so it is better to store it in a cool place preferable fridge)

The solid sherbet changes into a nice milky oily consistency. I scooped about a dime size amount with my fingers and applied it to my face. Rubbing in slow circular motion to  emulsify all makeup and sunscreen. Once I was satisfied that all of the makeup was emulsified I proceeded to wash my face with water.

I noticed that most of the makeup came off easily accept for waterproof mascara. I used a foam cleanser afterwards just to get rid of the residual oil from my face but honestly speaking there wasn't any residual oil left on my face in the first place.   Over all I am quite satisfied

TONYMOLY The Chok Chok Green Tea Sherbet Cleanser 85g can be purchased at Jolse.com

[Review] EGLIPS Blur Wearing Foundation # Y21 Vanilla

An underrated foundation ? I have seen people try so many products from EGLIPS, there Blur Tints are popular so are there powder pacts, Blush and Eyeliners but it is hard to see any reviews when it comes to their Foundations for some reason

Features
This pigment-packed, oil-free formula gives flawless, full-coverage with a single application.
The pigments are wrapped lecithin-an—an ingredient with a texture that feels similar to the skin—to blend effortlessly and meld with the complexion.
It flawlessly blurs out pores and smoothens out fine lines

This 30ml glass bottle has a sun protection of SPF30 PA++ and comes in 3 shades

# P17 Fair
# Y21 Vanilla
# N23 Beige

I picked the shade # Y21 Vanilla  as this is what usually matches my skin color when it comes to Korean Foundations. The packaging is made of frosted glass and has somewhat a shape of a giant capsule. The bottom part is slightly rounded but it stands well on my vanity. Overall the aesthetics lean more towards the mininal side. I like the pump mechanism its hygienic and very user friendly

This foundation has a very distinct yellow tone. I personally like the yellow undertone a lot than the pink one as it suits my skin better
The color makes my complexion slightly brighter and more awake
This is sheer to medium coverage foundation that can be build up to a full coverage with multiple layers but suggest 2 layers at max as it can get cakey . The texture reminds me of VDL Perfect Lasting Foundation and Mamonde All stay foundation. Its very liquidy and feels airy on ths skin.

Moreover it is pigmented and covers imperfections quite well. What I love the most about this is that its non greasy and is gives skin a very breathable feel. Its not heavy or thick. I think I have found a dupe for the ever Popular VDL PERFECT LASTING FOUNDATION

[Review] touch in SOL No Poreblem Prime Essence

Due to massive breaksouts I have started topical retinoids which in turn is making my my skin very dry. So I have stored away all of my pore refining and sebum controlling primers and pulled out all the balm like primers for the time being

touch in SOL No Poreblem Primer is one of the best selling/most loved primer . So when I saw that they came out with an essence type I decided to give it a try and see if it could refine and hydrate my skin at the same time

The packaging is very interesting. A slim squeeze tube with a glass pipette like nozzle to dispense out the product. I like the slim minimal glass packaging. Makes it so convenient to carry around while traveling

Features
A moist and smoothing primer essence that helps prepare the skin condition for makeups. Calendula Extract helps firm and care the pores, smearing quickly and moistly into the skin.
The primer essence relaxes, hydrates, and refreshes the skin, creating a perfect blank canvas for your next killer look.

Ingredients
Water/Aqua/Eau,Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Dipropylene Glycol, Dimethicone, 1,2-Hexanediol, Dimethiconol, Polyglyceryl-10 Laurate, Polyglyceryl-10 Myristate, Cetyl PEG/PPG-10/1 Dimethicone, Ethylhexylglycerin, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Polyacryloyldimethyl Taurate, Rosa Damascena Flower Water, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, Arginine, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Rosa Damascena Flower Oil, Beta-Glucan, Fragrance(Parfum), Limonene, Linalool

This primer is transparent in a color with a hint if milky tinge. It has a faint herb like scent to it and is relatively easy to spread . I have noticed that this absorbs into the skin leaving behind very soft and smooth skin. I was afraid that this might ball up under makeup but it does not cause pilling whatsoever.

For my flaky skin this has done a really great job smoothing out texture and rehydrating the dry areas of my face. I didnt find this to be heavy or suffocating. Keeping in mind the approaching summer season. I feel that this light enough to be worn under makeup in hot weather . I feel that is a good essence based makeup primer that can be enjoyed by all skin types all year long.

I haven't tried the Original touch in SOL No Poreblem Primer but I am pretty impressed with this essence version. Its very affordable and a very innovative product which combines hydration and primer qualities in one plus it contains Calendula to soothe and brighten the skin

[Review] Holika Holika Hard Cover Glow Stick Foundation

This is my most anticipated base makeup release from Holika Holika particularly because I purchased the Holika Holika Hard Cover Glow Peko Edition Cushion and wore it ever single day

Features
A refreshing and cooling foundation stick that provides moisture and cools the skin immediately.
Highly moisturizing essential serum ingredients help expresses clear and dewy glow coverage.
The powerful coverage, delicate glow, and fresh finish keep the skin moist and clean without darkening.

The packaging is remarkable. Its well made and has this luxurious rose gold accent which adds class to this stick foundation.
This has a twist up mechanism to roll the product up something that is characteristic of all stick products. This holds 12gm of product. It comes with SPF50+ PA++++

This comes in three shades 01 warm ivory , 03 sand ivory and 04 honey . I dont know why they skipped shade 02 and jumped to shade 03 but over all there isn't a massive difference in the shade range

This foundation has that same Hard Cover Glow Peko Edition Cushion scent ( it is floral and feminine ) I chose this in shade 01 warm ivory . It is a bright light Beige very yellow toned. The shade initially looks a tad bit light on my skin (partially because its spring and my skin looks slightly tan ) but after blending it with a puff, It looks a nice match for my skin.
Now onto the part that knocked my socks off '' The Glow '' . This gives my skin that lit from within glow. The first time I used it , I skipped primer and sunscreen (gasps in horror )

I was amazed how easily this blended into the skin due to its super creamy nature. It didn't accentuate any dry patches. Nor did it exacerbate the fine lines on my face.

On day 1: I just wore this on its own, no primer, no powder and my skin looked its absolute best. It covered all the breakouts on my cheeks so well. After 4 hrs my T zone looked slightly oily but the foundation still looked seemless and smooth. By 6 hrs marks I had to blot my T zone with a blotting paper to keep the shine down. I didn't felt the need to reapply during the day

On day 2: I applied powder on top ( just my T zone) and really loved how it my sebum stayed under control

On day 3: I used this in conjunction with my sunscreen, primer and powder and I had a  great makeup day. Though the multiple layers did cause a bit of creasing under my eyes and around my nose. But still I liked it

Compared to the Holika Holika Hard Cover Glow Cushion , The Stick version provides more coverage. It also more long lasting.

Overall this really lives up to its name. It glowy and works for all skin types. My only problem with this stick foundation is that in warm weather. Its becomes too soft and starts melting . So its best to store it in a dry cold place. I plan to keep this in my fridge when summer arrives

Holika Holika Hard Cover Glow Stick is sold on Jolse.com

[Review] BBIA Lucky Shine Tint #03

If you love lip tints and glossy lip products. You are in Luck because I have a lot of lip tints reviews coming up

Glossy lipsticks and lip tints have made a major come back in K-Beauty world. BBIA Lucky Shine Tints are one of the latest releases by the brand.

Features
Highly concentrated coloring pigments express the lips without glossiness unlike any other. Self-blurring effect smears the lip colors smoothly and naturally in the wrinkles on the lips. Cloud Fit System fixes the colors on the lips with concentrated color pigments and silicone gel

There are a total of 5 shades in this collection. The colors are basic. The packaging resembles the tube of a lip gloss and is color coded . I like the doe foot applicator that comes with this tint. Its small and slightly fuzzy and it does an excellent job of applying the lip tint.

I have this in the shade #03 which is a grapefruit pink shade. This color is very fresh perky red pink . It's a very spring/summer appropriate color and makes the complexion very lively and bright. The texture is similar to a lipgloss but it is not heavy, greasy and non sticky. This lip tint is semi opaque. Though you can build up the opacity by multiple layers. I like the semi sheer look from a single coat. What I like about this liptint is that its coats the lips evenly. Moreover the gel like consistency smooths out the lips.

I have noticed that the shine dims down after an hour but the pigment remains on the lips. The adherence is good but the tint itself is not very long-lasting. I ate a burger when wearing this lip tint and there was barely any stain/color left on my lips. For me the lasting power was around 4-5 hours ( as long as I don't eat or drink anything )

Personally for the price and the quality this is very satisfactory. I like the mild fruity/candy scent. But I really like the fact that this is completely taste free. Usually liptints have some sort of taste but this is tasteless.

BBIA Lucky Shine Tint #03 can be purchased at Jolse.com
