[REVIEW] Natural Pacific Fresh Green Tea Seed Serum

 if you ask me about my favourite skincare ingredient right now I am going to choose green tea 🍵 Can't stress enough how beneficial green tea is for oily skin. It soothes and calms the skin, prevents breakouts, and brightens skin.You might have noticed by looking through my instagram feed that i don't have stable skincare routine as i am always trying out new sheet mask or essence but one thing that i have achieved during my Korean skincare journey is that my skin looks so much healthier and glowy than before 

I have been using this Natural Pacific  Fresh Green Tea Seed Serum for sometime now and I am seriously sold by its performance.this serum contains 84% Camellia Sinesis Leaf Water and a whole bunch of oils. you can see the picture if you want to  know more about the ingredient list

 The vial is made out of matte glass and has a dropper cap. packaging wise this is bit of a nuisance as a single accident/ incident of dropping can smash the vial to pieces :( so this is only suited for our vanity table or skincare basket

The texture is thin and water like and smells so nice( this healed the cystic acne on my chin and hairline) It absorbs into the skin like a dream. My skin feels hydrated without that oily /greasy feel. I haven't noticed much brightening yet but this works great in terms of calming and moisturizing skin.

though it looks light green in the vial it imparts no color whatsoever onto the skin 

I usually use 6 drops of this on my face and use this (every night i am not testing a new product)  before going to bed. My skin texture has definitely improved with this serum.

[REVIEW] Bliv O2 Bubbly Bright oxygenating mask

When I washed my 💆 now I am believer 😅. who remembers this song from SHREK (chuckle)
Tried this BLIV bubbly O2 bubbly bright oxygenating mask and was surprised that my face looked as bright as sunshine 😉 ( ok that's a bit of exaggeration) but seriously you guys, this mask gives instant brightening to the face.
pretty much every skincare brand that i know of has been coming up with their own bubbling mask but not all of them fulfil the tall claims that they are making, however this mask is a different story
rice is one of the oldest skincare ingredient used in many Asian countries to brighten the skin. its used lighten the complexion and tone skin and yes Rice is one of the chief ingredient of this mask you can totally imagine the effects this mask deliver?
 The mask is housed in a medium sized container with a protective lid to prevent mask from oxidizing and a spatula. I highly recommend you to use the spatula as this helps the product to remain fresh also a word of advice immediately close the lid of the container as soon you scoop out the product or else it will start to bubble up in the container

 The mask has a lotion/cream like texture with tiny red beads for exfoliation. It's recommended to scoop out the product using a spatula. Once the mask is massaged onto the face (dry skin) it immediately begins to foam up. The foam is not too thick but its there. There is funny ticklish feel when its turning into bubbles 😁 the bubbles lasts for about 2-3 mins even less if you are sitting under a fan
I left the mask on for 10 minutes massaged my face once again and then splashed it with cold water. My skin looked brighter/fairer plus it felt soft and matte. This effect lasted for quite some time and I felt like the pores on my cheek looked sort of small. cant say much about the stubborn pores on my nose because very few things work on them😐

In terms of physical exfoliation I didn't notice much difference because the beads are sparse so didn't manage to remove the dead skin on my chin and cheeks. This mask retails for approx 39-40$.
though the mask is on the pricier side the effects it delivers totally justifies the money. the brand is really confident about the performance of its product as it promises money back if the product falls short on your expectation,

I have been watching Michelle Phan for ages but no matter how many times i tried to re create her easy makeup looks they sadly never turned out the way they should have until i tried out this professional 7pcs Basic Eye brushes set by Jessup and understood the real difference a good makeup brush set can make when creating an eye makeup

the 7 brushes in this set are versatile they in my opinion can be used not just on eyes but on lips and cheeks too 

1.Eye Liner brush

as you can see the brush is a little on thicker side but you can easily create an winged eyeliner or my personal favorite the droopy puppy eyeliner look with it .the bristle are firm yet soft to create the perfect line. i think this can also be used to apply lipstick on the lips as its small and precise



2.Pencil brush

Soften and smoke out lines. Soften pencil liners along the top and bottom lash lines, add shadow to line the eyes, or use to highlight inner corner of the eyes. 

this white goat hair brush is perfect to smudge eyeshadow under the eyes or to deepen the color in the crease, the hair on this are soft and maintain their shape even after washing. really love how you can use this  to create complex eye looks with this



3.Blending brush

Brush Length :17.5cm
Brush hair:animal hair
Blending Soft blended crease. Using just the tips to apply color, sweep back and forth through the crease for a diffused and blended finish.
 



an eye look is never complete unless its blended uniformly and this big fluffy brush is perfect for it . its soft black bristles are soft and sweep so well across the eyelid to blend all the harsh lines of eyeshadows. i have also used this to apply highlighter on the highest point of my cheeks and boy this is perfect


4.Eye Shading brush small

Brush Length :16.3cm
Brush hair:animal hair
Even application of color. Place color across the whole lid for an even and strong application of product. 


the shape of this brush is perfect to pack color on the lid. the bristles are soft and pick the pigments quite well. i also like to use this to place  eyeshadow under my eyes when doing an smoky eye look as its super soft and gentle





5.Large Shader brush 

Brush Length :16.6cm
Brush hair:Synthetic hair
Uniformly cover the whole lid with product. Apply cream shadow base or cream shadow for quick and even coverage.


i originally decided to use this as a concealer brush because the bristles are firm and rally help to place the concealer under the eyes but now i think this is also good at placing eyeshadow on the eyelid specially eye glitter and heavy metallic pigments


6.Small Angle brush 

Brush Length :15.2cm
Brush hair:Synthetic hair
Create precise lining. Moves fluidly and easily across the upper and lower lash lines. Use with gel, cream or powder products. 


wow the angle of this brush is perfect to create that sharp crisp cat eye or winged eyeliner look. the bristles are strong and upright and hold their position. moreover they can  also be used as an eyebrow brush



7.Medium Angled Shading:

Brush Length :16cm
Brush hair:animal hair
Soft application of color. Use for brow highlighting or to blend the crease.

this brush is perfect for placing highlighter under the brow or for that  nose contour. the bristles are soft and blend the powder products pretty well also the angled shape makes it easy to trace the outline of nose bridge 

final thoughts 

the ferrules of all these brushes is well and does not feel too heavy or too light. the handles are well made and very comfortable to hold and use. i particularly like this black and gold combination its so classy and chic. its advised to wash the brushes with mild shampoo to remove the smell but surprisingly i didn't detected any kind of harsh smell when using these brushes, i gave these brushes a wash and was surprised how they  the maintained their shade after drying. the bristles didn't shed at all  nor did they release any kind of color.

super pleased with  these. i think the quality of these brushes beats that of many high end brands not only are they super affordable but they are also well made. highly recommend you to try Jessup brushes i promise you wont regret your purchase

IUNIK Vitamin Vitalising Hyaluronic acid toner

So I watched this video on youtube by gothamista and glow recipe where they shared a secret to glowing akin aka  The 7sin method. What is seven skin you ask? Well its a new toner application technique to get that glowing skin where you are suppose to apply seven layers of a hydrating toner  one later over another ( it does has to be 7 you can start with 3  and take it up to 5  depends on your preference. This technique is specially beneficial for dehydrated and oily skin.
The toner must be free from alcohol and actives

I have only two toners in my skin stash and only one of them was fit for this skin routine
Its IUNIK Vitamin Vitalising Hyaluronic acid toner
The bottle is well made and sturdy and there is a stopper with a small hole through which you can dispense the product

Initially when I looked at the viscosity of the toner I was under the impression that its going to be a thick tacky toner which is going to take ages to absorb but I was so surprised when I placed a few drops of this on my palm. The texture though viscous absorbed so easily into my skin and my skin felt soft and hydrated. There is  mild scent which disappears within a minute or so . its safe to say that this toner is suitable for all skin types ( yes this includes oily skin )

Are Hyaluronic Acid intensive hydrating and smoothing fine lines and
Hippophae Rhamnoides  (Sea Buckthorn) fruit extracts which posses potent antioxidant qualities and 0% alcohol

As for the seven skin method I did enjoy trying it out but I wont be incorporating this method to my skin care routine because
1. This methods makes such huge dents in the product in a single day
2. What should I do with the all the hydrating face creams that I have in my stash
3. I feel too lazy to apply more skin care products to my skin after this method so my other skin treatments get neglected
In short this  IUNIK toner is perfect all year round toner and the price is pretty good considering the amount you get
I would highly recommend you all to try out this toner I promise you wont regret it

RYOR Lemongrass Sugar Scrub

The review of this particular scrub has been pending for many reason one my own laziness to write up a review and  two "the weather"  when I got this scrub in my mail the weather at that time was humid  so naturally my opinion on this scrub would have been effected because it contains oil and no one likes to put on oily creams or as a matter of fact any heavy skincare products in that condition

Anyways ever since the weather has become cold my skin looks more dry and flaky than usual so I decided to swap my regular body scrub with this and guess what this is the best body scrub for winters I have ever used

The two main ingredients in this scrub are lemon grass oil and sugar

'Softening Sugar Scrub Lemongrass

Lemongrass Sugar Scrub removes dead skin cells, resulting in delicate and soft skin of the whole body. The scrub contains Lemongrass oil, adding a feeling of freshness. Apply a small amount 1-2 times a week on wet skin, using circular movements to massage and then rinse off. Keep upright after removal of safety foil'

The tub is quite big and contains whooping  375g of product. There is a protective seal on top, here is my tip don't tear the foil all the way just open about it about 1/3 rd this scrub has oil and sugar so it minimizes the mess

What makes this scrub different from other sugar body scrubs is that it doesn't lather up and two it contains lemon grass oil

Lemon grass gas skin soothing properties. It is perfect for people who have sensitive skin. It makes the skin soft and prevents fungal infections. Moreover the scent is very calm and soothing so it helps to get better sleep

I really like how the sugar granules began to melt as your slowly rub it over the skin . The oil acts as a moisturizer so while scrub removes dead skin it sometimes can also make the skin dry but this one just leaves the skin moisturized. What I do is take a scoop full of this scrub and slowly massage it over my body then follow it with my body wash.

The granules are perfect to remove dead skin on body. I even tried the small sugar particles at bottom to scrub on my face and it wasn't harsh as I expected it to be

 Result: Smooth moisturized skin which smells like lemongrass Mmmm so delicious and soothing

Ever since I have started using this body scrub I don't feel the need to use a body butter in winters any more.

[Review] Elizavecca Milky piggy BB cream

Today I am reviewing this BB cream by Elizavecca. The packaging is really cute and vibrant. This contains 50ml of product and the tube is slightly bigger than an average bb cream.

Its comes in an identical cardboard box which has this original seal for quality and authenticity assurance

Whats best about this Bb cream is that it contains SPF 50+ PA+++ so this not only covers blemishes and evens out skin but also provides protection from the sun
This Bb cream comes in only one shade so those who have warmer skin tone this might not be for you.

This has a thick texture and its coverage is pretty good ( medium-full). But don't worry this can be sheered out if you want. ( used a damp beauty blender to apply this for sheer coverage)
Even though its thick this has a satin - moist finish so for those of you who have acne and dry skin this is the best  formula. Gals with oily skin can just dust a bit of loose powder for that matte finish

On first application this might look a bit chalky ( the bb cream has a bit of grey undertone) but after few minutes the shade kinds of adjusts so it looks natural. I also detected some kind of scent but I can figure out what it smells like exactly
All in one this bb cream is great because it brightens complexion, provides hydration, hides blemishes, evens out skin tone, gives
glow to the skin and protects from sun

Ok so as a avid sheet mask user sometimes after using a sheet mask I often feel that my skin needs some kind of an after product which seals in the moisture. I know people use occlusives for that but for people who have oily skin heavy moisturizers are a big "No"

The outer packaging is matte and has a cute white wedding dress printed on it. The claims are simple skin brightening and hydration to get that bride like glow 😍
After tearing open the foil I was met with a mild pleasant scent ( don't be alarmed its very mild and vanishes in a minute or two)

As the name suggests this nude seal mask has a light thin sheet mask (0.21mm) with a protective white plastic cover to retain it's shape
The mask is drenched in a thick viscous transparent serum. I squeezed out the excess serum before hand for later use
The fit if this mask is good. I have a small face so adjusting sheetmasks is a little tricky for me but this one adhered well to the skin.( I roamed around the house without any fear 😅 ). I improvised on the instructions and wore this for 50 minutes because
1. Its winter and my skin is feeling dry
2. This mask felt so nice so I didn't felt like taking it off after 20 mins
What surprised me was the fact that even after 50 minutes the sheet was moist( don't know if its because of winter or perhaps this particular sheetmask has the ability to retain more moisture than an average sheetmask
Anyways after taking it off the remaining serum absorbed on its own without any external effort aka patting 😆

I really liked how my skin looked matte but glowy without the greasy or tacky feel it was soft and hydrated. I can totally agree on the brightening part (my skin didn't look its usually dull self). Super impressed with its performance 5/5

MERBLISS Intense Soothing Gauze Seal mask ( Nurse Healing)
100% Natural sheet mask. This has a scent similar to the Merbliss wedding mask but what sets this mask different from all the mask I have tried out in past is that its made of gauze. Now I am a medical student so you know I get to use gauze a lot in hospital but the texture of particular gauze make is different. Its strong so it does not tears apart no matter how much pull it around to adjust it on your face.

The gauze soaks up a lot more product than an average sheet mask so this remains moist for a really long time. I hung this mask up to see how long it took for it to dry and was super surprised when it dried up after 2hrs cool right.

I wore this mask for 40 minutes and then massaged the sheet on my arms and neck ( there is still a little serum in the foil so I am going to use it later)
Unlike the Merbliss Wedding Mask this gives hydration , moisture and nutrition. The serum takes some time to dry down but one its all absorbed the skin feels soft minus the tacky greasy feel. I liked how my skin felt plump and soft. This is perfect for all skin types ( mine is oily acne prone) I would have loved to write mmom'sms thoughts on this but she is hesitant to use sheet mask in winters ( she is afraid she might catch cold)

Nonetheless these masks are definitely one of the best masks I have tried and have made it to my special sheet masks list.
Even though these masks were sent for review my opinion would have been same even if I would have purchased these with my own money
