[Review] MERBLISS My Number One Liquid Pigment #03 Highlighter and #02 Coral Cheek

I have tried a few sheetmasks from several years ago and really liked them so I was really excited to try these pigments from the brand. I am not good at using liquid blushes and often end up looking like a clown. Still I often like to play with liquid eye and cheek products. Practicing can make quite a difference

Packaging: these liquid pigments are packaged in paint tubes. There is a nice nozzle to dispense the product. Overall the size is quite travel friendly. I am happy that the cap is secure so no product leaks from the tube

This liquid pigment series comes with 3 types for defining your features. Lightweight in texture, easy application and smudgeproof. #01 Shading: Formulated with Cacao Seed Butter to moisturise skin upon apply. #02 Coral Cheek: Multi-purpose product containing Rosehip Fruit Oil serves as blush and eyeshadow. #03 Highlighter: Packed with luxurious jewel powder to add glow to your skin. How to use: Apply directly to targeted areas and blend well with a puff, a brush or with your fingers.

#02 Coral Cheek is designed to be applied on eyes and cheek. The colors is a beautiful peach pink shade color. The consistency is very liquidy. I usually dab a small dot on my cheek and blend it with a makeup sponge. I have noticed that using a light hand with application makes this look natural and dewy on the face. I personally think that the color  is suitable for fair to medium skin color .

#03 Highlighter this is a multi tasking product . It can be used as highlighter, eyeshadow or mixed in with foundation to give a dewy finish. This one looks straight white on application but once you blend it in. It gives a nice sheen to the face. The glitter particles are not chunky but they are still noticeable on the face if you look closely. I fear this might come off as ashy/icy on darker skin tones

Overall these are good for the price. I am glad that they have a nice texture and the formula is very easy to work with. If you like liquid/cream cheek products you are going to like these a lot

[Review] MERBLISS WEDDING DRESS mask and MERBLISS NURSE HEALING mask

If you are fan of Korean beauty and skincare then I am sure you must know Lisa of Beauty Bemused. She recently launched her very own online korean store by the name of Bemused Korea what differentiates this online shop from the rest is that instead of finding all the popular Korean skincare and makeup brands you can actually purchase some really nice hard to find brands like 107oseven, A BY BOM cosmetics and merbliss korea etc.
I have seen reviews of the store by many people and really like how they send the parcel in pretty packaging so it feels more like opening a gift
Lisa was very generous and sent me two kinds of sheet mask by Merbliss to try you can have a look at the package below
Isn't the pink and silver confetti cute ❤
Now I haven't personally tried out any thing by Merbliss so far but I have been following them on instagram and wow I cant believe Ahn Jae-hyun  is currently endorsing this brand( incase you cant remember he was one of the leads in Korean drama "Blood" "Cinderella and the four knights" and also starred in "You who came from the stars"
Enough of that fan girl moment lets get on to the review 😁
MERBLISS Intense Hydration Coating Nude Seal mask (WEDDING DRESS)
This mask retails for 3$ each and can be purchased in a box of 5
Its is a 100% natural sheet mask and contains 25ml of serum in it
Ingredients: Water, Glycerin, Dipropylene Glycol, Methylpropanediol, Butylene Glycol, Caviar Extract, Pearl Powder, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, Propylene Glycol, PVM/MA Copolymer, Trehalose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Panthenol, Carbomer, Arginine, Disodium EDTA, Allantoin, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Chlorphenesin, Glycyrrhiza Galbra (Licorice) Root Extract, 1,2-Hexanediol, Caprylyl Glycol, Schizandra Chinensis Fruit Extract, Coptis Japonica Root Extract, Zinziber Officinale (Ginger) Root Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Citrus Grandis (Grapefruit) Extract, Acorus Calamus Root Extract, Perilla Ocymoides Leaf Extract, Fragrance
The outer packaging is matte and has a cute white wedding dress printed on it. The claims are simple skin brightening and hydration to get that bride like glow 😍
After tearing open the foil I was met with a mild pleasant scent ( don't be alarmed its very mild and vanishes in a minute or two)

As the name suggests this nude seal mask has a light thin sheet mask (0.21mm) with a protective white plastic cover to retain it's shape
The mask is drenched in a thick viscous transparent serum. I squeezed out the excess serum before hand for later use
The fit if this mask is good. I have a small face so adjusting sheetmasks is a little tricky for me but this one adhered well to the skin.( I roamed around the house without any fear 😅 ). I improvised on the instructions and wore this for 50 minutes because
1. Its winter and my skin is feeling dry
2. This mask felt so nice so I didn't felt like taking it off after 20 mins
What surprised me was the fact that even after 50 minutes the sheet was moist( don't know if its because of winter or perhaps this particular sheetmask has the ability to retain more moisture than an average sheetmask
Anyways after taking it off the remaining serum absorbed on its own without any external effort aka patting 😆

I really liked how my skin looked matte but glowy without the greasy or tacky feel it was soft and hydrated. I can totally agree on the brightening part (my skin didn't look its usually dull self). Super impressed with its performance 5/5

MERBLISS Intense Soothing Gauze Seal mask ( Nurse Healing)
100% Natural sheet mask. This has a scent similar to the Merbliss wedding mask but what sets this mask different from all the mask I have tried out in past is that its made of gauze. Now I am a medical student so you know I get to use gauze a lot in hospital but the texture of particular gauze make is different. Its strong so it does not tears apart no matter how much pull it around to adjust it on your face.
Ingredients:  Water, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Niacinamide, 1,2-Hexanediol, Hydroxyacetophenone, Hydroxyethylcellulose, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Trehalose, Chlorphenesin, Allantoin, Arginine, Carbomer, Dipropylene Glycol, Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate, Disodium EDTA, Sodium Hyaluronate, Panthenol, Fragrance, Portulaca Oleracea Extract, Glyceryl Acrylate/Acrylic Acid Copolymer, PVM/MA Copolymer, Melaleuca Althernifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract, Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary) Leaf Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (matricaria) Flower Extract, Mentha Piperita (peppermint) Leaf Extract, Diamond Powder, Centella Asiatica Extract, Bambusa Vulgaris Extract, Pinus Densiflora Leaf Extract, Thuja Orientalis Extract,Chamaecyparis Obtusa Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Phenoxtethanol
The gauze soaks up a lot more product than an average sheet mask so this remains moist for a really long time. I hung this mask up to see how long it took for it to dry and was super surprised when it dried up after 2hrs cool right.

I wore this mask for 40 minutes and then massaged the sheet on my arms and neck ( there is still a little serum in the foil so I am going to use it later)
Unlike the Merbliss Wedding Mask this gives hydration , moisture and nutrition. The serum takes some time to dry down but one its all absorbed the skin feels soft minus the tacky greasy feel. I liked how my skin felt plump and soft. This is perfect for all skin types ( mine is oily acne prone) I would have loved to write mmom'sms thoughts on this but she is hesitant to use sheet mask in winters ( she is afraid she might catch cold)
Nonetheless these masks are definitely one of the best masks I have tried and have made it to my special sheet masks list.
Even though these masks were sent for review my opinion would have been same even if I would have purchased these with my own money
these masks can be purchased at bemused korea website here
