RYOR Lemongrass Sugar Scrub

The review of this particular scrub has been pending for many reason one my own laziness to write up a review and  two "the weather"  when I got this scrub in my mail the weather at that time was humid  so naturally my opinion on this scrub would have been effected because it contains oil and no one likes to put on oily creams or as a matter of fact any heavy skincare products in that condition

Anyways ever since the weather has become cold my skin looks more dry and flaky than usual so I decided to swap my regular body scrub with this and guess what this is the best body scrub for winters I have ever used

The two main ingredients in this scrub are lemon grass oil and sugar

'Softening Sugar Scrub Lemongrass

Lemongrass Sugar Scrub removes dead skin cells, resulting in delicate and soft skin of the whole body. The scrub contains Lemongrass oil, adding a feeling of freshness. Apply a small amount 1-2 times a week on wet skin, using circular movements to massage and then rinse off. Keep upright after removal of safety foil'

The tub is quite big and contains whooping  375g of product. There is a protective seal on top, here is my tip don't tear the foil all the way just open about it about 1/3 rd this scrub has oil and sugar so it minimizes the mess

What makes this scrub different from other sugar body scrubs is that it doesn't lather up and two it contains lemon grass oil

Lemon grass gas skin soothing properties. It is perfect for people who have sensitive skin. It makes the skin soft and prevents fungal infections. Moreover the scent is very calm and soothing so it helps to get better sleep

I really like how the sugar granules began to melt as your slowly rub it over the skin . The oil acts as a moisturizer so while scrub removes dead skin it sometimes can also make the skin dry but this one just leaves the skin moisturized. What I do is take a scoop full of this scrub and slowly massage it over my body then follow it with my body wash.

The granules are perfect to remove dead skin on body. I even tried the small sugar particles at bottom to scrub on my face and it wasn't harsh as I expected it to be

 Result: Smooth moisturized skin which smells like lemongrass Mmmm so delicious and soothing

Ever since I have started using this body scrub I don't feel the need to use a body butter in winters any more.

ST.Ives Blachead Clearing Green Tea scrub

Ever since I have started using makeup I have been quite afraid to try out a scrub firstly because the sinister looking scrub particles scared me to death and secondly I though my skin was fine without it. Now I have oily/combination skin  but since last year it has-been acting all weird. I have been experiencing a lot flaky spots around my nose and chin.

A colleague of mine suggested scrubbing my face once a week but I just brushed off her advice until recently I tried out a DIY green tea face scrub at home and that's exactly when I realized what I have been missing in my skincare routine. Now this scrub is very pocket friendly and natural but honestly very messy. Every time I Scrubbed my face I was left with tea stains on my sink/wash basin. Being the ever lazy person that I am I decided to look for an alternative and to my outmost delight I found one that is affordable

This scrub is housed in a matte squeezable tube. There is a transparent cap on one end which is secure so fear of spillage while traveling

My thoughts: 

 This scrub by St ives is light green scrub which has a very fresh and clean fragrance (it definitely does not smells like tea). There are very small round granules for exfoliation. Little amount of the scrub is needed for the whole face. It  gently cleanses the skin as well as exfoliates it.

This product claims to clear up blackheads but so far I haven't witnessed any progress clear up my blackheads. My skin feels dry and stretched after using this but a little moisturizer on top restores the moisture back into the skin

This is a good product price wise as well as performance wise. Moreover it has generous amount of product which is going to last a very long time. In comparison to sugar and walnut shells scrub this is very gentle plus the salicylic acid in this scrub is perfect for acne prone skin
I would suggest you all to give this scrub a shot
