 if you ask me about my favourite skincare ingredient right now I am going to choose green tea 🍵 Can't stress enough how beneficial green tea is for oily skin. It soothes and calms the skin, prevents breakouts, and brightens skin.You might have noticed by looking through my instagram feed that i don't have stable skincare routine as i am always trying out new sheet mask or essence but one thing that i have achieved during my Korean skincare journey is that my skin looks so much healthier and glowy than before 

I have been using this Natural Pacific  Fresh Green Tea Seed Serum for sometime now and I am seriously sold by its performance.this serum contains 84% Camellia Sinesis Leaf Water and a whole bunch of oils. you can see the picture if you want to  know more about the ingredient list

 The vial is made out of matte glass and has a dropper cap. packaging wise this is bit of a nuisance as a single accident/ incident of dropping can smash the vial to pieces :( so this is only suited for our vanity table or skincare basket

The texture is thin and water like and smells so nice( this healed the cystic acne on my chin and hairline) It absorbs into the skin like a dream. My skin feels hydrated without that oily /greasy feel. I haven't noticed much brightening yet but this works great in terms of calming and moisturizing skin.

though it looks light green in the vial it imparts no color whatsoever onto the skin 

I usually use 6 drops of this on my face and use this (every night i am not testing a new product)  before going to bed. My skin texture has definitely improved with this serum.

Ok so as a avid sheet mask user sometimes after using a sheet mask I often feel that my skin needs some kind of an after product which seals in the moisture. I know people use occlusives for that but for people who have oily skin heavy moisturizers are a big "No"

I have used this product on its own under my own and I really enjoyed how it gave my oily skin a punch of moisture and helped me with makeup application. The scent of this very pleasant, its not too strong just a mild sort of floral scent.
The star ingredients are silk crystal and cold pressed hemp seed oil
 Silk crystal has the ability to promote collagen production, helps skin regeneration filter UV radiations and has strong moisturizing properties

What I love about this product is that it does not feel heavy on the skin. In fact this is so light weight( something quite astonishing for a product which contains hemp seed oil) it absorbs into the skin within seconds. I really like the moisturized yet matte finish I get after using this product.

[Review] Swanicoco Bio Ferment Fermentation Snail Care Skin Toner & Emulsion

Ok so i happen to be one of the lucky people who got selected for the swanicoco swan2 project and the team was kind enough to send me this box full of skincare products to try, so thank you team swanicoco and ms may for picking me for this project

i really love the brand for its transparency when it comes to their PR and review policy and how they are willing to hear all the positive and negative reviews of their product
Swanicoco's product are made out of natural products hence they pose less adverse effects to the skin. they have a vast range of products which target all skin problems and types. the products not only are great but even their packaging is very chic and sturdy

Today i will be reviewing two products i will start with the Swanicoco Bio Ferment Fermentation Snail Care Skin Toner

 Packaging:
 like i mentioned it earlier its white and made out of plastic. the bottle is well made and there is a pump mechanism to dispense the toner which in my opinion is very hygienic as the product remains fresh. also that way you can control the amount of product hence less wastage
another great think i have noticed about the cardboard packaging is that even though the instruvtiosn and ingredient list is stated in Korean outside. they have printed the same thing in english inside the box. i would have posted a picture of the box but i couldn't bring myself to sacrifice the cardboard packaging so please try to do with this picture

About the product 
as soon as one opens the cap one is met with a very pleasant natural rose scent. i personally like this scent because its not strong or over powering. the toner is not too thick nor its like water its something inn between slightly viscous but easy to spread and absorb into the skin. for some odd reason in my head i though this would feel sticky because of snail secretions but the texture is nothing close to tacky or sticky.

i have used this for some time in combination with the emulsion and i love how hydrating it is  and how quick it absorbs into the skin leaving a smooth matte finish behind.

i cant find any flaw or fault with this perfect. in my opinion is just perfect. i didn't get any breakouts with this so kudos for that!!

 Swanicoco Bio Ferment Fermentation Snail Care Skin Emulsion
i have delved into a lot of different skincare products ranging from ampoules, essence toners cleansers , lotion but never an emulsion so this was a very interesting product for me because i didnt knew what to expect from it

Packaging
as you can already see the packaging of this emulsion is exactly the same as that of toner. this too has  a pump. an contains 120 ml of product

About the product 
so emulsion is product which is midway between a cream and a lotions its not too tick and its not too thin and runny like a lotion . this one has nice texture it feels rich but on the skin this absorbs easily i think my skin  is currently in dehydrated state so anything moisturizing that i slap on is absorb immediately . the scent is similar to the toner so this feels so nice and relaxing
for me this product is perfect when used alone or in combination with toner. i will admit that i am a lazy person so sometimes i skip up steps and just cleanse my face and put on any of the moisturizing cream, toner or lotion that i have in my arm reach hehe . and i will admit that this emulsion totally fixes up the moisture barrier of my skin and sort of patches up the  gaps in my skin care.

so happy to tell you that even this is a fermented product it didn't cause any clogged pore so super happy with the results

The reason why I don't have picture of its box is that my package ended up in a mail ( accident which resulted in damage to the packaging thankfully the container is intact)

About the product:
The texture is very interesting even though it says cream, it feels more like a gel. There is a nice scent to it . To my nose it smells like custard but my sister thinks it smells spicy
The product spreads easily onto the skin and takes about 3-5 minutes to absorb into the skin . I don't usually don't pat my creams into the skin ( that's some it have reserved for my serum and essence). Combined with the ampoule this makes a  perfect duo something which  does not requires more skincare steps.
The wow factor: My skin its feels so bouncy, I asked my mother to try this out. For reference she has mature dry skin. On her skin the results where more pronounced. The wrinkles and fine lines on her skin were smoothed out. All the dryness was gone.To explain it more thoroughly its best to say that this cream hydrates parched , dry and dehydrated skin so the lines created due to dehydration are reduced when moisture barrier goes back to normal. 

MY OPINIONI have worn this cream on its own, used it with the leegeeham Hyal B5 ampoule and even used it in combination with vitamin C . So far no adverse reaction encountered.
My mom loved this cream so much that i had no choice but to give it to her 😁
(This cream has got my mothers stamp of approval) My mom has decided to add this to  her night time skin care routine as it makes her skin feels so much soft and smooth every morning. Plus she wants the B5 and Hyaluronic acid to work their magic while she is asleep.
I think is perfect for winter but is it suitable for summers too? Only change of season will tell

[Review] Purito Vitamin C serum 60 ml

Been eyeballing skincare products containing Vitamin C serum ever since I started taking interest in skincare but the high price tag always kept me from making a purchase. So i gave my skin the dose of Vitamin C it deserved by applying diluted lemon juice mixed with glycerin onto my face once every week (This DIY leaves skin soft and bright it also lightens hyper pigmentation) But some weeks ago I had an opportunity to try this Purito Vitamin C serum and now i wish i had tried this sooner. This smells like vitamin supplements 😆 (gross right ) but the results which you get afterwards are really worth all the trouble and bad smell 😅

ABOUT THE PACKAGING
The serum is cased in a sturdy tinted plastic bottle( vitamin C tends to oxidize pretty fast so tinted bottles prevent them from un necessary light exposure) with a pump(very convenient and handy) and contains 60 ml of serum in it. The pump dispenses product quite generously so 1 pump is enough to cover the whole face

ABOUT THE PRODUCT
This serum has a light straw color  and has a water like texture which is not greasy or slippery. On application it stings slightly (its bearable) I have noticed that the sting vanishes once the serum dries down and is absorbed. My skin feels super smooth every time I use this.

 Long term effects: Reduced hyper pigmentation and lighter acne scars 👍. Since Vitamin C/ ascorbic acid  content is 10% I have decided to use this once every week as I don't want to damage my skin with too much acids and exfoliation. Sometimes I mix this serum with my regular face cream and apply this onto the face. PURITO Snail Clearing BB Cream SPF38/PA++ 30ml

When it comes to asian bb cushion and bb creams I have heard many people often complain that the shade of the base makeup was too light/grey/ashy for their skin color or that Asian bb creams don't have much variety in shade range ( specifically those of you who have lovely dusky skin or their skin color ranges from NC/NW 20-40 ) I am reviewing an Asian bb cream which comes in shades #21 #23 and #27 so those who love Asian cosmetics but cant find  a good match for your skin color this one is for you.

This BB cream has a standard squeeze tube packaging which I find very convenient and hygienic. It contains 30 ml of product. It has a  screw top which is quite secure and keeps the bb cream fresh.
This bb cream contains snail mucin filtrate and 10 free formulation meaning its free from paraben, ethanol, benzophenol, animal fat, BHT,paraffin talc, phthalate, formaldehyde, bemzophenone and triethanolamine which is super cool considering the fact that snail mucin has great skin rejuvenating and healing properties. Also the 10 ingredients mentioned above are one of the major culprits of causing acne, clogged pores and irritation so this is perfect if you have problematic acne prone skin.

The texture of this bb cream is very easy to spread and blend-able +layerable moreover its light weight. This gives a semi glowy finish. The coverage is medium which can be either sheered out or build to full coverage (depends on your preference) I like how this does not feel heavily or greasy on my skin.
This blemish balms targets three skin problems  at a time
1. It gives sun protection SPF 38 PA++
2. It acts a natural looking base for your skin so hides imperfections
3. Anti wrinkle

I used this in flash photography and was so happy that I didn't get a flash back even though it contains spf 38. So this is great for taking photos 🙆
My bb cream is in shade 27 which is quite dark for me ( I have fair skin) but I am happy that I discovered a great product even though the shade didn't match me.

Elizavecca Hell Pore BlackBoom charcoal pore pack

Hey there 🙋
I love products which promise to deep cleanse and make my pores less noticeable but not all cleansing products are made equal . some instead of deep cleansing over cleanse the face stripping it off of all the natural oil/sebum leaving the skin in a more dehydrated and damaged condition then it was before.

 I got a chance to try out this cute black hell pore pack by elizavecca its one of their newly released product of this year. This is a two way pore pack. Initially it works as a mask and absorbs all the oil from the face  but once you add water to it and massage its foams up and deep cleans the pores

Packaging:
Its super cute and vibrant on one side you can see a cartoon character  of a devils and on the other side there is an angel lol 😊. It's a nice squeeze tube with a nice sturdy cap. The product is sealed to prevent it from drying up.

Due to circulation of counterfeit products online and many stores elizavecca has decided to add scratch-able seal on their product which contains a number to ensure quality and authenticity of their products.

About the product
Its a black charcoal mask which has a thick slightly gloopy texture. Though you can spread it on your face using a spatula or i preferred using my fingers. I tried to apply the pack as evenly I could but I think I layered it thickly at some parts on my face 😔. On my face this dried up after 20 mins. It does not dry up like a clay mask( in fact it feels more like q peel of mask slightly slippery) first I added up small amount of water and massaged my face but was quite disappointed when it only turned grey but didn't bubble up but then I added more water to wash it off and was surprised how it began to foam up. (The foam was quite thick) so get the foaming/bubble effect you have to use a lot of water anyways I massaged for around 2-3mins and then washed it off( this washes of easily) but it can be a little messy. ( side note: Charcoal mask are messy)    It   Looking pore something that gets deep into the pores and clean them? I applied this cute charcoal mask and wow the  results are amazing.

The charcoal in this pack is very finely milled so you can actually feel the particles on your skin. My skin looked squeaky clean and a little dry after washing it off. The pores looked better too but the stubborn blackheads on my nose were still there 😡

Since the weather is starting to become cold I have decided to use this once very week or fortnight  or else my skin might become too dehydrated. All in one this is a fun mask/ pore pack to use and the results it delivers are good too

SKIN 18 : REVIEW MEDIHEAL ESSENTIAL SHEET MASKS

Today I am going to review the contents of my skin18 reviewer program package. I choose mediheal masks for this level as I previously had a really nice experience with mediheal masks and its one of the brands I can definitely trust

Essential masks are one of the popular mediheal masks released by mediheal they were recently upgraded to a better formula
Initially I though that all of these sheet masks would give similar results but boy I was wrong each of these masks have a different type of serum  I will start with the MEDIHEAL PLACENTA RE-VITAL ESSENTIAL MASK"

My first ever encounter with placenta was  during my gynaecology ward rotation and I was seriously grossed out/amazed by it at the same time. But I never thought that one day I will using a mask on my face which contains placenta extracts 😳 As much as I was hesitant to try out "MEDIHEAL PLACENTA RE-VITAL ESSENTIAL MASK" i decided to man up 😝  and slap it on my face. This surprising smells good. As this is a cellulose  sheet mask with silky touch this has a thick sheet. The size of sheet is medium so the fit might be a problem for some people. I had to manoeuvre the sheet a bit so that it fit my face shape and tucked the excess part under my chin. I kind of look like voldemort wearing this mask but I bet you all might have got used to my face by now 😅. Anyways the serum of this sheet mask is slightly viscous and has glycerine like texture so it does not absorb into the skin right away especially if you have oily skin like I do but a little bit of patting can make a difference. When I took off the mask after 30 mins my face felt a little bit tacky and had a layer of unabsorbed serum which gave glowy look to my face. As the weather has become hot and warm again one would like it more if the mask is chilled before application. Overall this isn't a bad sheet mask but i think this is kind of mask that is better enjoyed by  folks who gave dry skin as this is very hydrating 👍  4/5

MEDIHEAL TEA TREE CARE SOLUTION ESSENTIAL MASK"

I had really high hopes for this one as tea tree  is a really promising ingredient for acne prone and oily skin and I am happy to tell you guys that my experience with this was good. It has a pleasant scent and has a thin serum which absorbs into the skin without leaving that tacky feel . My skin felt soft and all the redness was reduced. This mask is great if you have oily skin  I love how mote and more brands are designing sheet masks that target acne prone

and oily skin type


MEDIHEAL COLLAGEN  SOLUTION ESSENTIAL MASK"

Drenched in serum this mask was tried out by my mother. The fit was good for her face ) there wasn't much extra part to tuck in the mask-). For her dry skin this mask was perfect. The serum was thick and left a slightly tacky film which locked in all the moisture. My Mom likes to wear sheet masks till the edges of the sheet began to dry up. And for her this dried up after 50 mins. Pretty good eh !!


MEDIHEAL VITA LIGHT BEAM ESSENTIAL MASK"

Now all the Variants  that I tried out from this range didn't provide the brightening . Something which is a hall mark of Asian skincare so when I picked this one up I was excited as I love products which brighten and whiten but alas this failed to brightening the complexion Tha glow was there no doubt but the brightening part was missing and the serum was tacky so I washed my face because I didn't like the feel of leftover serum on my face. This is good mask in terms of moisture but if you are picking this up for brightening then you are going to be disappointed 😞
MEDIHEAL PLATINUM V LIFE ESSENTIAL MASK"

One of the fancy ingredient mask. I have seen  skincare products which contain gold extracts but having platinum as an ingredient was quite a surprise for me. I didn't know what to expect from this mask so I just applied it onto the face and watched tv while I waited fir the essence to soak in .one thing I noticed was that unlike the other variants this mask was not upgraded ? I wonder why?
Anyways I didn't notice any special difference in my skin texture except for the fact that it looked plump ( choc choc skin) .
All and about these masks are good for providing moisture and hydration . The formula is very skin friendly. the essence does not itch or burn. Even though some of these masks leave a tacky residue onto the face . It does not cause breakouts . These are available for purchase at skin18.com website

Packaging: Frosted glass bottle/ vial with a glass dropper. The lid is secure so no fear of it being spilled but this bottle is not travel friendly because its made out of glass

About the product:

This serum has a strong zesty/ citrusy scent. Its a biphasic serum meaning it has two layers the upper is oil based while the bottom layer is water based. To get the best of the worlds shaking the bottle prior to use is recommended.

 The serum is amber colored and has a very runny texture. It spreads easily onto the skin. I place 5 drops of the serum on to my palm spread it evenly and then pat it onto my face. I have been using this for quite sometime and have noticed how my skin texture has improved over time

The pores on my skin have reduced to some extent and I have noticed slight glow too. What I love about this serum is that this does not feel greasy even though it has oil in it nor does it cause breakout.  It takes about 20-30 minutes for the serum to absorb immediately into the skin.

SKIN FACTORY TATTOO LIP ESSENCE in Sweet Pink

Quantity: 15 ml
You must have heard of mood lip glosses. The one which change color on application. Well this is lip product is something like that its clear and transparent and on application it slowly turns pink and eventually a bright fuchsia colour.This is fool proof all in one lip product which  acts a lip condition, lip gloss and lipstick. The packaging is just like a regular lip gloss so it makes the application easier. Pretty good if you are a  beginner and just starting with makeup . What I love about this product is that it has a sweet raspberry candy scent. It imparts color and moisture to the lips. Even when the glossy effect vanishes after a few hours (2 hrs to be more precise) there is a beautiful pink tint left behind on the lips

Skin factory morning recipe mask

Masks which come with exfoliating pads and multiple steps are my favourite because they just simplify the while skincare routine and are very handy to carry around. When you are on a move. This skin factory morning recipe mask is amazing. It has 3.steps to follow




Step 1:  I  massaged my face for 1 min with the light pink cleanser which smells amazing btw. There is adequate amount of product. (enough to be used twice at least for my face)


Step 2: I moved onto the cleansing pad. One side is smooth while other is rough and dotted for exfoliation I usually exfoliate my face at night so this was entirely new for me and I totally enjoyed this. Made my makeup application so smooth afterwards.the fibers of the pad are gentle but firm so they provide thorough exfoliation. You can just slip your fingers in the mitts and rub your face gently in Circular motion.
Remove so much dead skin that I was embarrassed to realized how badly my skin needed exfoliation


 step 3 : Finally onto the moisturizing part. The sherbet ice cream, I was a bit sceptic about wearing this as my skin breaks out quite easily but luckily no reaction or pimples so far . Its cooling and powder blue in color. It spreads easily and absorbs fast.

 I totally love the concept of this 3 step morning recipe mask.  I think this is perfect for travelling , camping . Would totally repurchase




 Skin factory night routine

This is just like the Skin factory morning recipe mask the only difference being that this make has only two steps rather than three
Step 1: The exfoliating pad is just similar to the morning recipe mask. I really enjoyed the smooth and calming skin massage / exfoliation I got after using this.
Step 2: The ampoule was nice. It sank in quite easily and made my skin feels soft . No greasy oil after feel
