The ampoule has a rich orange yellow color ( derived from artemisia itself) and has a distinct Artemisia scent. Compared to the essence this has a more viscous consistency and is not watery. It may be thick but it is still non tacky, non greasy, light weight and moisturizing ( more moisturizing than the essence)
Its spreads easily and absorbs easily too leaving a slight hint of glow. For my oily skin I use half a dropper in my night time routine. I have noticed that this layers well with the essence and gives the perfect amount of balanced moisture to my oily skin. I have noticed that this really calms and soothes the skin plus the light scent feels very comforting.
Overall it is a good ampoule which works for all skin types. If you are have sensitive skin or are facing skin problems due to excessive temperature this light weight ampoule works really well to calm skin and moisturize it adequately
