If you are new to my blog hello my bame is farya and I love trying out sheet masks. Today I am reviewing sheet mask by Aeria skin a taiwanese brand which makes oraginc 100% cotton sheet mask which are free from harmful chemicals like paraben, phenoxybenzamine etc

Directions

1. Begin with a thoroughly-cleansed face. 2. Open packaging and remove the plastic liner film. Place the facial mask on and gently adjust over eyes. 3. Relax with the facial mask on for 15 to 20 minutes. 4. Remove mask and discard. Pat remaining serum into skin. Follow with moisturizer.

Packaging:

Fuss free foil which has a pleasant blue color,the sheet come folded in a plastic plastic cover, the sheet has medium thickness and is large in size,l. I had to tweek the sides a bit to make it fit my face better. 

This has a generous amount of water like serum/essence which absorbs into the skin without much effort

I have noticed that this hydrates the skin pretty well without leaving a tacky finish. I have even worn this in the morning prior to makeup application and found that this help the makeup sit beautifully on my skin afterward, this mask is great for all skin types especially oliy skin as its light in weight and does not clog pore.

Packaging
I love the fancy intricate details, gold syringe-like packaging it looks so luxurious plus the concept is unique as well. I like how  one can control the amount by pressing the piston and even lock it when not in use, there a rub tip on the other end which helps in evenly spplying the product under the eyes

About the product
This slightly opague eye cream has a gel like texture and spreads easily on the skin and
This gives off cooling sensation on application. This leaves my under eyes feeling silky smooth, I have noticed that the horrible texture that I had under my eyes has reduced after using this. Plus my under eyes looks noticeably brighter. I do have a few crease like fines lines and this smoothes them out slightly. this has definetly reduced the signs of  sleep deprivation, tirdeness and  chronic insomnia

[REVIEW] Peripera Airy Ink Velvet in Heart Grapefruit

Peri pera is one brand that is known in the asian beauty community for its  popular ink lip tints . These ink lip tints come in 3 kind of different finishes ( velvet, airy ink velevet and cloudy )

 I am reviewing the Airy Ink Velvet one today
The packaging is in line with the name it literally looks like an ink bottle ( so cute ) the bottle is frosted but you can still easily see the color of the tint
The wands on these are small for a regular liptint ( its a little uneasy to hold the top cap sometimes) and have a  doe foot applicator.

To the best of my knowledge there are 5 shades in the airy ink velvet line I chose this particular shade because I dont a own a shade like this in my collection
Compared to the korean liptints I have tried out in the past this is strongly  pigmented, feels lightweight and has a silky smooth finish ( it sometimes feel powder like ). Moreover it applies evenly without accentuating dry patches on the lips. I have detected a bit of a paint like scent to it

My favourite way of applying this liptint is placing a little dot of tint in the centre of my lips then dabbling the color with my finger to get that water color effect. Unlike the Etude House Dear Darling Tint I didnt felt the need to apply a lipbalm prior to application as its very moisturizing on its own.

To me the shade Heart Grapefruit looks a like an orange based red color.
In terms of longevity this lasts for 8hrs and more. This leaves a stain on the lips
The price of the tint can vary ( ranging from 6$- 11$) depends which store you are purchasing from
I really liked this lip tint and would definitely purchase more shades from the Peri Pera  Ink line in future

Korean cosmetics never cease to amaze me , they contain the most interesting and unique ingredients ever and the results they deliver to the skin is amazing. Snail secretions and placenta extracts are a thing of past  because many skincare brands are incorporating starfish exrracts to your skincare formulations. Rarita a koresn skincare brand uses sea horse extracts in its skincare products. Sea horse has been previously used in ancient chinese medicine by royal families for various purposes.

What pleased me the most are two things
1. This whole skincare line is certified halal which is great news for the Muslim population

2. The sea horse used to manufacture the cream are specially farmed and supervised in jeju islands so this is not harming the enviroment or seahorse population in any way

The cream is designed for skin brightening and anti-wrikle care. It also contains 24k gold, peptides and marine collagen

Packaging:
The packaging feels absolutely luxurious,
The sapphire blue tub is made out of glass  with gold details. To prevent spillage there is a protectuve lid inside. I love how they have included a nice plastic spatula along with it

The cream has slighly slimy, gel like texture with small irregular shaped tiny gold specks running in it. The cream feels heavy on touch but is easy to spread and absorbs quickly leaving behind a soft matte finish.

Since the cream is on the expensive side, and has antioxidant effect I prefer using this at night because I want my skin to get maximum benefit.

Summers is here already and if you like me feel a little clueless on what to wear in this hot weather and look stylish yet comfortable I suggest you start looking for kurti.
Kurti in my opinion are one the extremely fashionable yet comfortable outfits for summer.

These days its easy to find different Pakistani Kurtis design because pretty much every designer has launched some great designs in their summer collection.
What I prefer about kurti is that they are very easy to pair with other clothing articles. you can wear them with capri, tulips pants or trousers. I have seen a lot of girls wearing them with jeans.
Tight fitting clothes are a big no for scorching hot Pakistani summers so kurti are great as they fit loosely, feel breezy and look trendy.
Ladies kurti come in various designs. You can either choose a simple mono colored kurti or pick one with a  printed design e.g polka dots. I prefer digital prints because they look veey eye-catching. For formal occasions pick a kurti with traditional. embroiodery  or one with a detailed border.
You don't have to be a teenager or in your twenties to wear kurti. I feel that kurtis are one of the diverse clothing item which can be worn by all age group.
if you dont find kurti  elegant and refreshing for your taste there still are a lot if options when it comes to Women's clothing,

You can choose a lawn suit or perhaps a T-shirt if you are more into western clothing and just like kurti you can find them in embroidered and printed designs.
I am quite pleased with the lawn collections launched by various brands this year. Instead of repeating same colors and boring patterns the collection this year has a lot of variety ranging from abstract art, detailed embriodery and vivid floral patterns all in vibrant hues of color. The designs are very creative and flattering this year. If the spectacular lawn collections have failed to grab your attention I suggest you look for t-shirts. they may not be as vibrant and femine as lawn suits and kurtis but they do look fashionable when paired with a pair of jeans or over a skirt. I personally gravitate more towards lawn suits and kurtis because they are my preferred genre of fashion but you can always buy a cool statement t-shirt at various online stores. There is always a tshirt with a meaningful quote, funny message, meme or a comic which looks trendy and makes one stand out from the crowd.

Initially on application this feels tacky but after a bit of patting this absorbs absorbs completely leaving the skin soft
When ever I get to try some new skincare product I initially use it on its own and once I start to understand the yexture better I incorporate it into my skincare routine

With this one I applied it directly to my freshly washed face followed up with a light layer of peptide toner (Twice a day early morning beforr applying makeup and at night before going to bed )

Looking at the ingredients  list I am pretty impressed, I will start with Ethyl Ascorbic Acid ( 3rd ingredient) this brighten skin, and reduced hyperpigmentation,Tranexamic Acid (reduced redness ). 3Hyamide™ the trio
Sodium Hyaluronate ,Hydrolyzed Sodium Hyaluronate and Sodium Hyaluronate Crosspolymer, Lactobacillus/Soybean Extract Filtrate (Bio-Peptone),Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 (AHP-8) ,
Glycyrrhiza Glabra, Centella asiatica, Rosemary leaf extract, Cypress water

My thoughts
After using this for 7 days straight that this has indeed made my skin look bright and soft. Since its a hyaluronic acid rich product I have noticed that this gives instant plumping effect to the skin. ( reduced fine lines and wrinkles ) the dry flaky skin around my nose and cheek area is gone. More over the hyperpignentation scars of acne have lightened too.

I feel like this has made quite an impact on my skin, my skin looks way better than it did before

The essence feels very hydrating and moisturizing. It takes a little time to absorb. I prefer using this in the morning as I don't want this to react with my vitamin C at night. Besides this also makes my makeup look great . I take about half a pump  of product and spread it on my face

I have noticed that this hydrates my skin pretty well which in return reduces sebum product.  In terms of whitening and brightening I cant say much since my skin is already on the fair side but I have noticed a slight glow on my face after use.

This is a dual function brightening and wrinkle care mask

Inside the  packaging is a hydrogel mask
The texture of the hydrogel feels sturdy ( I often end out tearing hydrogel masks when taking them out of the packaging

One can never go wrong with the fit when it comes to hydrogel mask because they come
 in separate pieces for the forehead and chin area so one can easily adjust it according to the face shape. If you ask me Hydrogel mask are perfect for summer because they give off  cooling effect and hydrate the skin too
One thing special that. I have noticed about this particular hydrogel mask is that there is a slight textured side ( raised bumps ) on one side of the mask which help the mask to adhere better and prevent it from slipping and sliding

The essence is watery and texture so It dripped a little when I took it out of the packaging. I wore this for about 40 mins until the sides of the hydrogel began to dry off and started peeling
 this  mask gives instant hydration . I have noticed that this makes my skin firmer plus it brightens up my complexion
I really enjoyed using this sheet mask and would definitely repurchase in future

Having  dark downy hair (the peach fuzz ) on the face is a given when you are from south asia, and It  can sometimes make one feel very self consious about it. Even if your facial hair are light in color you might have noticed that they   can make the makeup look cakey.

Many people resort to remove facial hair with wax, threading or bleach it. Though Waxing is effective but it can reduce the elsaticity of skin and cause sagging and premature aging of skin, while threading can be very painful at times.

Solstick mini By Endomedics is a portable hair removing device which is perfect for downy hair. It has singular rotating blade which is placed behind a protective cover. So the sharp edges of the blade never come in contact with the skin.

The device has a sleek design amd comes in variety of colors, I choose this vibrant yellow (isnt it cute? ). The small circular top makes it easy to maneuver around the contours of face and shave hair from hard to reach areas. 

The top part of the shaver is removable, so you can easily clean it and remove the shaved hair build up due to its slit head .Moreover its waterproof

The device can be switched on and off with a simple button on the side

This requires AA battery to function ( not included with tge device)

I have noticed that circular motions works well shaving hair with this device. Just move the shaving part gently over the desired area and you would be surprised how easily and effortlessly this shaves hair. 

My thoughts:

I find this very easy to travel with as its small and light in weight. Though it might take a little time if you are shaving hair from a larger surface but its perfect for tough ups and shaving facial hair)

I often end up with minature cuts when shaving with a feminine blade which later results in redbumps, itching and sometimes pimples but Solstick gives the most comfortable shaving experience, i for once in my life didnt get any cuts. I have used this to shave hair from the upper part of my lips ( the moustache 😁) and from my arms too. I love how this shaved hair without making my skin chaffed or irritated.

Many people are under an impression that shaving hair makes them grow back thicker. There is no scientific research to prove this claim its one of those hair superstitions that have been passed on persin to person. I have personally shaved my hair multiple times and believe me my hair look the same (no change in texture or thickness)

Chateau Labiotte wine lip tint mini RD01 SHIRAZ RED

The lip product I am going to review today on the blog is no stranger in beauty world. This cute wine bottle shaped lip tint totally took the beauty world by storm last year. everyone was talking about it. It was featured in a lot of Korean dramas, online magazines, vlogs and blogs so naturally this caught my attention too. This Lip tint comes in both full size and deluxe size packaging. The reason i chose deluxe size was that i currently own over 30+ lip products ( may not seem a lot to you but for me that's way too many lip products) sitting inn my makeup stash waiting to be used up. So I decided to buy something I will easily finish off before it goes bad. Enough with my rant lets get onto the review

Packaging:
Even though its a deluxe product I have to laud the brand for placing it into a small cardboard box ( makes it look specially ). The liptint as you can see has a wine bottle packaging its so cute and tiny. the lid does not pop off like a champagne cork but us like any lip tint with a doe foot applicator 😊
Each liptint has a different color lid. The lid kind of represents the color of the tint inside
I love how this tiny tube holds 3ml of product and is tiny enough to be carried even in a coin 👝.

There are lot of shades in the range(pink, orange, burgundy, red, peach etc)
About the product
This contains alcohol/wine by products so once you apply it onto the lips it gives a cooling feel ( alcohol evaporation =cooling)
The color is a beautiful neutral red. Unlike the dear darling tint i tried by etude house this has a very opaque coverage so this tint works more like a lipstick. The lasting power is great it lasts pretty well onto my lips. The application is not patchy at all. What I love about this tint is that it  applies evenly and wears off evenly too. But one thing bad about this is that it can be drying on the lips. I fix this problem by fist applying a layer of Lip. Balm n my lips amd then following a layer of lip tint of top that way i get sheer to medium coverage of the tint on my lips ( it looks pretty wearable during the day) and my lips font get cracked or look like dried up prunes by the end of the day. Since the tint sets up/ dries up pretty fast I suggest you to be extra careful when applying this liptint.

Overall I love this tint would definitely purchase more shades from the range
This mini/deluxe tint is priced at 3-4$ while a full size of this lip tint coats around 9-12$ depends on the store

CY Lab Top Luxury Masks

Packaging: I like the simple beautiful emerald green packaging of these sheet masks. All the three variants have similar packaging the only difference is that they is a sticker placed on the masks which specifies the type of mask

Each sheet is drenched in generous amount of essence ( no leftover or excess essence in the foil), Each sheet masks has a plastic back cover ( i love this it helps with the unfolding of sheet)

CY Lab Top Luxury Mask - Triple Hyaluronic Acid Intensive Moisturizing Repairing Mask
A mask for deep hydration this contains  hyaluronic acid
This has that characteristic Taiwanese sheet mask texture (feels like silk) the sheet is very sheer and thin ( be careful as the sheet can tear )
The essence has a mild apple scent its transparent and water like
As the sheet is thin it adheres really well (like second skin)the size is good too not too long . This one began to dry up after 25mins though
Ingredients: Sodium Hyaluronate for moisture boost, Saccharide Isomerate to lock down hydration), Chondrus Crispus (antioxidant)
Results: The fist thing I noticed was that all the essence was absorbed into my skin and my skin felt soft.

The brightening/whitening effect I got after using this was amazing. It also plumped my skin and I didn't get any breakouts the next day

I have used the  crithmum maritimum essence and really loved it. So I was very happy that they had a separate mask too.  crithmum maritimum  acts as an anti oxidant, it a skin healing anti ageing ingredient

This has a slightly thick black sheet mask which feels soft. Fit was good but the sheet was a little wide on the forehead area (i had to fold it )

The essence has a mild pleasant scent and has a clear gel like texture . I wore this one for 35 mind and then took it off
Essence absorbed without much effort. No tacky residue was left on my face. , I noticed my face was brighter, hydrated and looked better.

Cy Lab trio: Alpha-Arbutin Skin Whitening
Arbutin is a well know skin whitening ingredient it reduces hyper pigmentation and lightens scars and spots on the skin
 INGREDIENTS
 Vitamin C (boost collagen production acid. lightens skin pigmentation) Orchid Extract antioxidants, Arbutin  prevent formation of melanin

Has a barely noticeable scent. The sheet is thin and the essence has has light clear watery texture
This ingredients on this are pretty impressive,   vitamin C and arbutin are great skin brightening agents, I wore this sheet mask on for 30 minutes.  My skin was so bright that it accentuated the dark circles around my eyes. My skin looked matte and felt soft. This totally improved my complexion

I am pretty impressed with these sheetmasks by Cylab . These retail for 3$ each. I feel like these are perfect for oily skin, or people whose pores clog up easily. If you are looking for some skin brightening sheetmask i highly recommend you all to try these. You won't be  disappointed
