Pakistani Lawn Collection 2020

Though summer is not my favourite weather, but I do like Lawn dresses and the delicious fruits that come with it. Speaking of Lawn, Many brands have already launched the Spring Collections to welcome the coming weather.

I have been updating you all regarding all the latest  Lawn Collections for last 4 years so here is the much awaited post for this year's Lawn Collection 2020 fashion releases.

So you know that some thing so breezy and light weight like Lawn is actually manufactured from Yarn. The threads are weaved in a such a manner that a pristine lawn cloth is obtained every time.

Today many brands have introduced pret and unstitched categories to their lawn collections . That way there is room for everyone to express creativity. Pret collections are usually popular among working women who don't have the time to go to a tailor while those people who like to design their own clothes prefer the unstiched collections more.

I prefer pret over unstIched because not only its time saving, but its also very cost effective in the long run. Pakistani Lawn Suits usually come in two piece and three piece option. A carefully assembled 3 piece shalwar kameez lawn suit with dupatta or a two piece lawn suiy which constitutes of a kameez and contrasting trouser, the choice is endless.

This year plazzo pants and churidar trousers have made a comeback. The A line shirts are back too. I am particularity impressed by this years color palette used by various Clothing Brands in Pakistan. The colors palette includes both pastel and bright shades of the color spectrum

No matter what you choose be it formal , informal or pret its best to pick something that compliments your complexion, body type and the occasion. A well dressed person leaves a long lasting impression . Lawn dress have the quality to make one look poised and elegant. It's no secret that this the most loved Fabric among the masses. Not only it's easy to wear but its very breezy and perfect for the harsh Pakistani Summers

It's best to select the Lawn suits online as  you get a lot of variety under the comfort of your own house . Moreover you can compare the prints and design at the same time.

[Review] MISSHA Pro-Touch Powder Pact SPF25 PA

My favourite Drugstore powder from Maybelline got discontinued last year . I was so annoyed to see the powder vanish from the shelves all of the sudden so I decided to try something from Korean Brands

MISSHA Pro-Touch Powder Pact looked pretty promising in terms of coverage and longevity plus the price was pretty good ( I bought this when it was on discount at Jolse

The pressed powder easily adheres to the skin and is convenient to carry around.
The fine and light powder particle makes the skin natural and smooth.
Naturally covers the skin by adhering and filling the pores and rough skin.

Ingredients:

Talc, Mica, Titanium Dioxide, Silica, Magnesium Myristate, Nylon-12, Barium Sulfate, Polymethyl Methacrylate, Butyloctyl Salicylate, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Boron Nitride, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Methyl Hydrogenated Rosinate, Dimethicone, Triethylhexanoin, Iron Oxides, Methicone, Triethoxycaprylylsilane, Iron Oxides, Chlorphenesin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Fragrance, Iron Oxides.

The packaging makes this look super high end . I am really impressed by the variation of plastic and shiny reflective metal like texture that was used to create the top part. This comes with a nice fluffy puff. Its sturdy and really good .

This powder comes in two shades #21 and #23 . I got this in shade #21 which matches my skin color perfectly.  The powder is very finely milled and soft so its blends seamlessly into the skin and is barely noticeable. It's not drying at all. Because of the soft texture it mattifies skin but doesn't accentuate any dry areas or make the makeup look cakey.

I prefer to apply this powder with the puff that is included in the pact , because I have noticed that brush kicks up a lot of powder which results in fallout and product wastage

This powder is excellent when it comes to blurring out imperfections and pores. I have also noticed that this gives the skin that smooth ceramic like finish

On days when I am in a hurry or I am sick and don't feel like applying makeup I just apply a light layer of this powder on top of my sunscreen and my face looks really put together and better

D’ALBA PIEDMONT WATERFULL SLEEPING PACK

I learned about This fabulous brand when Charlotte Cho mentioned it one if her videos. The product lives up to the hype for sure . Its deeply moisturizing. The stick packaging is designed in a manner that its enough for one use.  Its not overly greasy or heavy. For my oily skin this is a very light sleeping mask thag nourishes and maintais myt skin barrier when I am asleep

RED COOKIES Brownie Velvet Lip Tint 5.2g

PRICE : 24$

A popular makeup brand on Instagram Red Cookies has one of the most vibrant and distinct velvet tints the colors are intensely packed with pigments and feel very comfortable on the lips plus the packaging itself is super cute. What more can you ask for

[Review] AwakeAsleep Pure Vitamin C 15% Serum

When I spotted Pure Vitamin C 15% serum on Jolse. It piqued my interest because most of the serums do not contain more than 10% of vitamin C serum. So 15% sounded a lot more potent

I scrolled through the provided details and found out that this serum also contained glutathione a popular skin brightening ingredient used by dermatologists in clinical setup.

Features:

The brand claimed this serum to be far less irritating than many vitamin C serums available in the market . They also claim that this vitamin C serum remains stable at room temperature and oxidizes slowly

This serum came in a really big yellow box inside a glass vial along with the dropped were arranged in a plastic tray. To keep the serum fresh it was sealed shut with a white cap.  I unscrewed the cap and fixed the dropper.

The serum has faint lemon yellow color and smells like citrus. Its fresh and non pungent. I applied a few drops on the back of my hand and loved the light texture of the serum

It is advised on the box to refrain from exposing the serum to bright light for longer duration. (  I took the pictures in direct sunlight stupid me !! )

I have been using this serum every night and the first thing I noticed on my skin was the immediate brightening effect . Surprisingly the vitamin C and glutathione combination is pretty good at providing instant results. So far I am really enjoying this as a part of my skincare routine. This serum is not sticky if used in moderation but if you go heavy handed with it it can make the skin feel tacky

This is a really stable, one of a kind vitamin C serum that everyone must try

[Review] MERZY The First Creamy Concealer CL2

I tried the Merzy Eyeliner and really loved the price point along with the longevity so I decided to test a few more products from the brand this time around I got the concealer because its very hard to come across great a concealer

MERZY The First Creamy Concealer  comes in 3 shades. I picked the middle color CL2 because it looked neutral .

Features
Waring fitting powder fills the skin's bumps, creating a smooth skin.
Minimize stain and darkening with sebum adsorption powder.
It provides fixed, worry-free retention after a long time

The concealer comes in a frosted cylindrical tube ( the size is a lot chunkier than a regular concealer tube)  . The wand is long and has a doe foot sponge applicator on one end. Overall its well made and speaks of luxury

The color is a light beige color with slight salmon undertone. Luckily this does not oxidize or turn an odd shade of orange.
I applied it in a dotted manner and blended it with my fingers. The first thing I noticed was that this sets immediately so one has to supper quick with application.

This concealer has a thin texture. Its not runny but very much creamy ( as the name implies) this can blended with sponge or fingers. I have noticed that this completely conceals blemishes and dark circles. This does not brighten the area much so I use this underneath my foundation to make my base look flawless

This concealer dries down quickly to matte finish so I don't use powder to set it. Moreover It doesn't crease or look splotchy as the day does by.

Its safe to say that I have found my favourite concealer for the year 2020

[Review] Missha Tonight Brilliant Boosting Essence

Though I genuinely like missha as a brand I got this because of the super cute packaging. There are around 4 products in this range. I only got the Tonight Brilliant Boosting Essence

The packaging is just stunning a beautiful pink blue ombre plastic bottle ( which mimics the glass to some extend) . This has that regular toner dispensing mechanism. This contains hydrolized pearl proteins.  If you shake the bottle you can definitely see the iridescent swirling pearl proteins in the bottle

Features
With sophisticated technology, micro-size particles are implemented to help absorb depth.
It helps to wake up the luster of the skin by imparting moisture.

The core ingredient of connecting the pearl crystals tightly is conchiolin and moisturizes between the layers of the skin to complete a solid skin texture.

This can be applied with a cotton pad or patted into the skin with hands. I prefer my hands over cotton rounds as minimal products gets wasted

The essence has a faint sweet peach like scent and is not sticky at all. I layered this three times on my face . This does a really lovely job of hydrating skin. With continuous use this makes the skin plump and soft. I find this to be a great option for those humid days when one is looking for minimal yet hydrating skincare products
