Olens Vivi Ring Series Review ( Vivi Ring Olive, Pink, Brown, Choco, Beige and Grey)

 Olens just added the much needed green shade to its Vivi Ring Line this month and I thought this was the best opportunity to share rest of the shades of this gorgeous series

The contact lens are designed to give the eyes natural yet romantic look to them .

The colors are subtle and blend nicely with natural eye colour. The graphic diameter is 13mm while the total diameter is 14mm. Human iris has diameter of approximately 11-13mm so this is not unnatural or cartoon like in any way . These lens are available in bith daily and monthly packaging except for Olens Vivi Ring in Olive. 

As the name implies this has a vivid ring surrounding the creamy color. This adds subtle definition and depth to the eyes and makes them more lovely and soft. Lens are soft and comfortable to wear just like other Olens Contact lens

 I will start my review with Olens Vivi Ring in Olive. This comes in daily packaging only and you get 5 Pairs of lens in a single box . A single box retails for 21$ . The colour is a beautiful olive green with a slight yellow/gold gradient. This blends in so nicely with my eye color that you can barely tell if I am wearing contact lens. The color is subtle but you can definitely notice it in day and sunlight. This is my new favorite contact lens . 

Speaking of natural I want to share Olens Vivi Ring in Choco. These match my iris color 100% . You can barely tell them apart. Shade choco is a beautiful warm brown colour. On my eyes it adds a hint of enlarging effect. This is part of my top 10 natural contact lens. I have worn these multiple times times to work because of the subtle enlarging effect

Next up we have Olens Vivi Ring in Pink. Now I will admit pink not my favorite color and when I read pink on the box I was expecting this be something of an eyesore. A bright hot pink shade. Extremely unnatural and cartoon like but to my utter surprise this turned out to be a very meek pink color . Translucent with a hint of pink. Something to add a little dash of mystery and spice to the eye look. This is by far the most wearable pink contact lens I have seen and it is something you can wear on daily basis

Olens Vivi Ring Brown is like highlighted version of my natural eye colour. Compared to shade choco this is a few degree lighter. This is good option for those who want to wear coloured contact lens to enhance their natural eye color. 

Coming to the most dramatic and popular lens in this series , the Olens Vivi Ring in Beige is one of the best selling contact lens by Olens. This leans more towards gold and looks very beautiful and unique. The colour is by no means anime like. It still blends with natural eye color. I usually wear this on special occasions

Lastly we have Olens Vivi Ring in Gray. Many people described this as a cool blue shade . On my eyes this color shows up as a misty grey. It is not pale or silvery . It keans more towards dark grey shade. This is my 2nd favorite contact lens because it looks so beautiful and natural on my eyes.

Essence Cosmetics Review Part 1

Essence is my favorite makeup brand, I live their mascaras . They make hands down the best mascaras you can find in drugstore. I recently bought a bunch of products from their latest launches . So here is my short and quick review on 3 products . Look forward to part 2 of this review where I will be reviewing base and eyeshadow products 

Essence Hello Good Stuff Volume Mascara

The essence HELLO, GOOD STUFF! Volume Mascara is made with 93% natural ingredients! It is formulated with coconut oil and vegetable waxes that nourish and strengthen your lashes.

Essence went vegan and cruelty free at the start of this year. This mascara is part of their vegan line. I bought this one in particular because it contains coconut oil to nourish eyelashes. Starting with the packaging it is simple and minimal. Ths wand is long while the brush is conical in shape. It is slightly thin and has synthetics bristles. Overall I find the shape quite suitable for both small and large eyes. 

The formula of this mascara was initially quite wet and had a very notable coconut scent. I found it very easy to use. It added good volume and length to my eyelashes. Since the formula is not waterproof it flaked a little by the end of the day. It separated my eyelashes and made them look fluffy and defined but as with time the formula began to thicken and it flaked more and became clumpy after 3 months of use and then by the end of 4th month. It was completely dry. Now I don't know if I used up a lot (because this was the only mascara I used for 4 months straight . I wear makeup 6 days a week) or the formula dried up. But I couldn't get any product on my wand . So for me this lasted 4 months. I am not sure if I will buy it again even though I enjoyed it a lot because this dried up pretty fast then usual Essence mascaras. 

Essence Melted Chrome Eyeshadow 06

The eyeshadows with an exciting bouncy texture are reminiscent of melted metal and have a strong pigmentation. With silver, copper, taupe, rosé, nude and blue-violet, the eyeshadows are available in a trendy selection of colours – now there’s no limit to your eye make-up!

I bought this one on a recommendation as a one and done eyeshadow . Unfortunately the eyeshadow broke during transit so it is a bit difficult to use. But I have used this a few times and I am totally shook by the pigmentation and lasting power of this eyeshadow.. the shade is copper burnt orange shade. This has a foiled /metallic shine and really easy to blend. I will buy more shades to try. This is totally worth the buy 

Essence Duo Sharpener

tip top! the handy sharpener has two sides – for thin and jumbo pencils! this way, you can sharpen all your cosmetics pencils in a flash so that they are wonderfully pointy and ready for your next styling session!

Prior to this I was using a cheap less than 1$ sharpener for eyeliner and to be honest it was terrible. It often used to break the nib of nyr eyeliner and create such a mess so I decided to spent a little on something so simple and insignificant and bought this duo Sharpener and this is the best decision I made. It is small and compact. You can easily sharpen regular and jumbo eye and lip pencils. It doesn't break and nibs so you get crisp fresh lines with this .  I already brought a backup of this highly highly recommend

[Review] Peripera Pure Blushed Sunshine Cheek 05 Dusky Rose

 I bought this for my sister as she loves blush a lot. The packaging is minimal and super cute . There are around 8 shades in this collection. I bought it in the darkest shade available as my sister has a warm skin tone and pastel /light blush don't show up on her skin.

Add a warm pastel flush to your cheeks with these highly pigmented blushes

Contains sebum-absorbing powder to ensure long-lasting wear

How to Use:

Apply a proper amount to the cheekbones with a brush and blend for a natural-looking finish.

The slightly tinted acrylic packaging is chic . There is a quote embossed on the blush. Mine has rubbed off to some extend due to multiple use as you can see. Overall the packaging is sturdy and travel friendly. 

Dusky Rose is a dusty rose colour. It is saturated with deep warm tones. Personally don't like warm tone blush as they look muddy on face but this surprised me immensely. Thanks to its pastel pigment this translates same colour as in pan so no muddy murky blotches on the face. The sebum absorbing powder keep the face matte for longed duration. I have noticed that this lasts around 5-6 hours on my face. It is pigmented so I built it slowly so that I don't over do it and end up looking like a clown . 

Overall I really like this blush from Peripera and I plan to add more colours to my collection .
