[Review] ETUDE HOUSE Sunprise Mild Airy Finish SPF50+ PA+++ Disney Olaf Edition

Have you watched the New Frozen part 2 ? Spoiler : it's visually impressive I got a chance to see it on big screen kast month and trust me I had a great time.

 This sunscreen has been on wishlist for so many years. So when I spotted this on Jolse for just 5$ that too in a cute special edition packaging.  I quickly added this to my cart . And it is one of the wisest decisions I have ever made.

This is one of the most loved and recommended Sunblock on reddit. Pretty much everyone with oily skin swears by this stuff. Its also one of those rare sunscreen that don't pill underneath makeup

A soft plastic squeeze tube bottle with a nozzle . This is very easy to use. The formula is watery. So it spills every where if you are not careful. Its moisturizing INITIALLY o application but within few minutes drys down to completely matte finish. It feels so light weight that you can barely feel it on the skin. This gives strong white cast. Since I wear this underneath makeup its not much of a problem for me but if you have any special event planned which involves flash photography I suggest you to skip this as it will give you that ghostly look in photos

Since its winter and I am using more moisturizing products this sunblock is not ideal for current weather as its matte but I am  looking forward to using this in summer. The hype is real . This really keeps the skin matte. Ever since I have tried this all the other sunscreens feel heavy and greasy to me now

[Review] VDL Lumilayer Primer

This is quite an old primer that even after several years of its launch remains a cult favourite primer and for good reason too

Though the concept of glass skin starting trending  last year or so this primer has been around for quite some time

Features:

- Violet Lumilayer Pigment, made by combining skin-brightening red light and blue light for clean and clear skin, creates an intensity that illuminates the face and highlights features.
- Gently illuminates the face to make skin tone look brilliant all day long.

The packaging is standard glass bottle with a very beautiful silver cap. The design is similar to the Vdl Lasting Foundation. It has a pump to dispense the product out

This primer has a slight floral scent. The primer itself is white with iridescent sheen to it. On the skin this sheen has a pinkish violet tinge to it.  The pearl particles add dimension to the face.

You can either mix this in with your foundation or apply this as a primer. The choice is yours to make. I like the subtle glow this adds to makeup. It gives that glow from within effect . Ever since I have started wearing this to work colleagues give me more complements on my skin.

Sometimes I also dab a small amount on my cheeks on top of foundation as a highlighter and it looks so beautiful. This is a great way to add hydration and make your makeup look glowy minus the greasy part.

[Review] DPC Premium Sunscreen UV Clear Stick SPF50+ PA++++

Sun protection is super important. I selected this because I enjoy sun sticks. Not only are they easy to carry to around. But they are also relatively easy to apply as compared to the conventional tube formulas. Plus they are mess free as well

The packaging is very eye catching. Its a very futuristic looking , reflective case which can also be used as a mirror when applying sun stick

There is a twist up mechanism at the bottom to role up the product. I removed the protective transparent cover to reveal a salmon pink sunstick.

The texture is firm yet it glides on the skin easily leaving a layer of moisture on the skin. I can feel the cooling sensation on my skin on areas I have applied the sun stick. This cooling effect makes this perfect for refreshing skin in summers.

I am very impressed by the formula its smooth, moisturizing and most importantly white cast free. It works so well under makeup and does not crease. Personally I am very impressed by this sunstick

I would recommend you this for sure. Its great for hot weather. Its moisturizing, easy to carry and white cast free. What more can you ask for ?

[Review] THE FACE SHOP Inklasting Powder Foundation SPF30 PA++

I haven't tried the original THE FACE SHOP Inklasting Foundation yet but the Glow version was pretty impressive. So when I saw this newly launched powder on Jolse. I added this to my cart without any second thought

Features
A powder foundation which perfectly covers blemishes to create sleek and smooth skin.
Gives a UV-Protection, velvet finish with oil-absorbing powder.
The soft and delicate puff adheres the cushion by conveying the contents fully.

The packaging is simple. A round matte black case which is quite slim. It has dual compartments. A powder tier and a bottom part to store the puff. The puff is good quality and picks the powder up quite well

There were only two shades available. I picked the lightest one. In the pan it looks pretty yellow but when I applied it to face it matched my skin color

I like to use this three ways. Either on top of foundation as a setting powder or to add an extra layer of coverage. Or on its own when I am in bit of a hurry but don't have enough time to apply foundation

The powder is finely milled so it feels soft and silky on the skin. It is packed with pigments so it add coverage and blurs out pores. In terms of sebum control I have noticed that this keeps my face shine free for around  4-5 hours

Overall its a decent Powder Foundations that works wonders for my skin . I hope that more colors will be added to the range in future

The directions are easy to use. I was skeptic to use this on my face with just water because I love my cleansing oil too much and was not sure if the cookie would remove all of the makeup and grime from my face.

Surprisingly this completely removed all ifthe base makeup along with lipstick on my face. I used this on my eyelid to remover all the eyeshadow and was really impressed. I didn't use this for mascara though as I didnt want to put too much stress on my eyelashes

This is truly a very innovative creation. Its through, reliable and environment friendly. You can wash this with soap and water to remove all the makeup.

[ Review ] One Brand ALL DAY GLOW

I reviewed ALL DAY GLOW  Ampoule on my blog last month. It is one of the best ampoules I have tried to date. I got the Cream and Toner from the brand this time to see if they were equally as good as the ampoule

ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Day Cream 

Features
A deeply hydrating cream that moisturizes the skin with 6 Hyaluronic Acids and 5 Ceramides.
Artemisia Water, Panthenol, Cholesterol, and Fatty Acid soothe and protect the skin, strengthening the skin barrier.
The mild moisture cream balances the skin condition, calming and hydrating the skin comfortably.

A regular squeeze tube packaging and white minimalistic design. This looks quite promising. I removed the silver seal. The first thing I noticed was that this has no artificial scent whats so ever. The cream is white has that rich emolient texture which feels very moisturizing. This is targeted for dry skin and after testing this out I can see why. The cream is dense and deeply nourishing.

Even though its rich its not greasy or heavy. It sinks into the skin leaving behind a slight healthy sheen. Personally I have oily skin so I have been using this more as a night sleeping pack. And it works so well to lock in all the moisture and make my look plump and soft the next day

My mother on the other hand uses this both day and night as this really quenches her dry skin. Ever since she has started using this her skin looks better and she gets less dry patches on her face

ALL DAY GLOW Calming Balance Facial Toner 200ml

The bottle is simple and looks quite similar to Son and Park Beauty water. This contains a generous amount of 200ml

Features
A calming toner that corrects the oil-moisture balance of the dry and sensitized skin with fresh moisture.
Birch sap and chamomile extract cool and soothe the skin, vitalizing the skin healthily and moistly with elasticity.
Contains safe and mild ingredients that help calm and hydrate the skin lightly and freshly, alleviating skin stress

The texture is similar to water but is a lot more hydrating. It has hint of herbal/floral scent. Its mild and resembles that of ampoule. I use this toner in the morning as a face pack.

Since its pretty light weight yet very hydrating at the same time. I like to layer this on my face 2-3 times. It is very soothing and moisturizing. Some toner cause breakouts but this one is very gentle and moisturizing

[Review] Missha Glow Skin Balm

I have oily skin but these days I have been wearing a lot of dewy base/ makeup. One of my absolute favorite Glow-y primer is Hemish Artless Glow Primer. This product was recommended by a lot of people online for glass skin so this is the main reason I picked this one up

Features: 

Water cream, morning pack, primer, and photo-cream all at once for quick glow makeup.
Moisture patent ingredient moisturizes the skin and keeps it moisturized for a long time.
Instead of skin-friendly ingredients and purified water, it contains 53% of the number of Damask Rose Flowers, making it possible to use sensitive skin mild.

The packaging is stunning. A frosted glass tub with a reflective rose gold lid on top. Its beautiful but the lids gets smudge marks / finger prints easily. There is a white plastic lid and a very sleek looking spatula in the box

 The name fits the texture perfectly. Its indeed like a balm. Its has that solid balm like consistency. I scooped a bit with a help of spatula and rubbed it on the back of my hand. The floral scented balm slowly began to melt . Its felt very buttery and smooth.

Initially on application it feels oily. But if you give this primer some time to set. Its absorbs into the skin leaving behind a soft glossy/glowy finish. This makes the skin look plump and more healthy.  According to Missha this can be used on its own or as a primer. Personally I prefer this as a primer. I have oily skin and in currently it's winter in my city. This alone just preps my skin for makeup .

Unlike the Heimish primer this has zero shimmer particles. The glow comes from the oils that are in ingredients list. For my oily skin this is working quite well in winters. I do apply translucent powder on certain areas of my face like nose, cheeks and forhead ( areas that produce sebum the most) . So that way my skin looks glowy but not greasy

I can't say much for other skin types but for my oily skin this Missha Glow Skin Balm will only work in winters. Because in summer my sebaceous glands so wild with sebum production so I doubt that I need that extra glow. If you have dry skin this will be an all year rounder.
