[Review] THE FACE SHOP Inklasting Powder Foundation SPF30 PA++

I haven't tried the original THE FACE SHOP Inklasting Foundation yet but the Glow version was pretty impressive. So when I saw this newly launched powder on Jolse. I added this to my cart without any second thought

Features
A powder foundation which perfectly covers blemishes to create sleek and smooth skin.
Gives a UV-Protection, velvet finish with oil-absorbing powder.
The soft and delicate puff adheres the cushion by conveying the contents fully.

The packaging is simple. A round matte black case which is quite slim. It has dual compartments. A powder tier and a bottom part to store the puff. The puff is good quality and picks the powder up quite well

There were only two shades available. I picked the lightest one. In the pan it looks pretty yellow but when I applied it to face it matched my skin color

I like to use this three ways. Either on top of foundation as a setting powder or to add an extra layer of coverage. Or on its own when I am in bit of a hurry but don't have enough time to apply foundation

The powder is finely milled so it feels soft and silky on the skin. It is packed with pigments so it add coverage and blurs out pores. In terms of sebum control I have noticed that this keeps my face shine free for around  4-5 hours

Overall its a decent Powder Foundations that works wonders for my skin . I hope that more colors will be added to the range in future

[Review] THE FACE SHOP Gelato Tint in 02 Strawberry Icecream

The Faceshop releases cute makeup products from time to time. Their yearly collab with line friends is a massive hit each time. These  Gelato Tints were released last year and since mousse tints have become my new favourite. I wanted to give these cute lippies a try.

These come in different flavors/scents I went with the 02 Strawberry Icecream as the colored looked very practical for everyday makeup look

Features
A soft creamy mousse texture that smoothly applies your lips.
Highly vivid color formulations that are clearly applied just single touch.
Various color options ranging from rose, brown and peach beige.
Contains 4 natural oils to keep your lips soft and moisturized.

Volume : 4.2g

Packed in a transparent box with ingredients list and details in English this looks too cute to use. The small ice cream cone is a little smaller than  average lip gloss/lip tint containers. The top part of the cone twists to reveal a mediun sized lip gloss applicator. The applicator part is small but nonetheless comfortable to hold

This smells a lot like strawberries. The scent is sweet and very noticeable. The color is a muted pink. Which looks very natural on the lips. The texture is indeed liie a mousse. Its fluffy and weightless on the lips but unlike peripera mousse tints this does not dry down completely. The finish is somewhat semi matte so it can transfer to cup/utensils

Due to its semi matte finish it keeps the lips soft and hydrated. It may not be the ideal lip product for special occasions but it is pretty good for everyday use / or if you don't mind re-applying during the day

This makes a great gift and I would buy this for my friends as it small and cute . And the colors are very wearable for work

[Review] The FACE Shop Ink Lasting Foundation Glow

This is the Glow version of the multi award winner and best selling Ink Lasting Foundation  by THE FACE SHOP.

As I much as I wanted to try that particular foundation I couldn't be cause the shade that I specifically want is always out of stock.

Features
A glowing skin with natural shine.
Contains high-gloss oil and shimming powder. It helps express smooth skin makeup and lasts for a long time

This comes in 5  shades: V103, V201, V203, N201 & N203. The V shades lean towards the pink side while the N has yellow under tones to it.  I decided to go with the N one this time around as I have noticed that yellow under tones work better for my skin

THE FACE SHOP's Ink Lasting Foundation Glow has a frosted 30ml bottle with a glossy black cap with closes with a satisfying click. The foundation has a pump mechanism which gives control over the product

This has floral scent , the foundation itself is very thin and runny. It took about a pump and a half to cover my whole face. As the name implies this leaves a moist and dewy finish on the skin. It does not feel heavy or greasy but more like a moisturizer taking its time to sink in. The sheen from the foundation gives a healthy look to the face. This blends easily and covers all the imperfections easily. The coverage is on the medium side but it is definitely buildable

Since my skin is dehydrated at the moment. This worked really well on my skin. One of the best things about glow foundations is that they smooth out any texture on the face. Moreover this balanced out the dry parts on my face

The lasting duration is what caught me by surprise. Since it is a glowy foundation I expected this to wear off fast but this remained on my face even after 5 hrs. Moreover it looked better and smoother with time unlike matte foundations which accentuate texture and dry patches on my skin. I didn't notice much creasing around the nose or the eye area

Since I have oily skin/dehydrated the sebum did seep through and was prominent on my T zone area. I used blotting paper to get rid of the sebum and it looked fine. I think if you have dry skin this will work great on its own but for people who have oily to combination skin loose powder on top works best to seal the foundation.

Overall I am impressed with foundation as the color matches my skin perfectly. It does not oxide after some time and gives an illusion of healthy skin without looking overly dewy or greasy. Since its summer here I plan to mix this with my matte foundation for a bit of glow and wear this on its own when its winters
