[Review] BADSKIN Hyaluronic Deep Pore Cleansing Oil

I got this from Jolse last year but because I had so many oil cleansers in rotation at that time. So I kept it in my closet for later use. This is one of the # 1 Trending Cleanser at Hwahae App. Director PI has also mentioned it one of her skincare videos for blackhead removal

Features

Deep cleanses makeups and pores, eliminating sebum and blackheads without stimulation.

Triple hyaluronic acid moisturizes the skin along with other mild ingredients that comfort the skin.

The fresh and light cleansing oil dissolves blackheads, whiteheads, sebum, and dead skin cells smoothly.

The packaging as you can see reminds one of hair dye bottle specially the nozzle design. If you study the bottle carefully you will notice that a lot of thought was put into creating a spill free/ leak free bottle. There is a rotate mechanism on top which controls the oil. Very smart and creative

The oil is designed for dry skin types and I can clearly understand why? ( I will explain that part in a bit) the texture is surprisingly very thin. It almost feels like mineral oil . This spreads very easily and you dont need a large amount to dissolve makeup. I usually take a dime size amount in my palm. And them spread it evenly across my face. It barely takes a minute to emulsify makeup, sunscreen, mascara and lipstick.

It washes of easily with water but leaves a slight layer of moisture to the skin which prevents the skin from drying out. I have oily skin but as currently I am on tretinoin my skin very dry. This doesn't strips the moisture from the skin and keeps it soft post wash.

For my blackheads. I give myself a deep 5 minute face massage with this oil every week. This way all the stubborn sebaceous plugs, grit and dirt gets removed from my face. And I don't get clogged pores that often.

If you have dry /normal skin or you are on topical/oral retinols this is going to work pretty well for you.

This can be purchased from Jolse.com

[Review] iUNIK Calendula Complete Cleansing Oil

Calendula has been becoming a popular skincare ingredient lately it may sound a little exotic to your ears but  Calendula also goes by the name of Pot Marigold

I am really digging into the minimal ingredients trend (I apologize if it sounds offending ''trend'' but a lot of brands are becoming environmental conscious these days and trying to lower carbon footprint and waste to as mimimum ss possible which is a good thing) Isn't it great  when brands cut down all the unnecessary fillers, paraben, preservatives from the ingredient list and bring it down to essential only. I was thrilled when I saw that there were only  8 ingredients listed on the packaging and most of them were oil save for last ingredient sorbitan sesquioleate which is surfactant by nature

Ingredients: Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil,  Canola Oil, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Sorbeth-30 Tetraoleate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Macadamia Ternifolia Seed Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate

Starting with the packaging its a sturdy plastic bottle which has a pump mechanism and a prominent nozzle (on top). I prefer pump applicators when it comes to oil because they reduce mess and make application easy.

This oil cleanser resembles cannola oil in terms of color and viscosity. It feels pretty much like any regular oil and smells like sunflower (its mild and nice)

On regular days I use micellar water to remove makeup but when I have sunscreen on or waterproof makeup I opt for oil cleasing as it dissovles all the oil based compounds nicely and removes on emulsifying with water.

The oil is very emolient and is easy to massage with. It doesn't completely rinse off with water alone ( I could feel a little residual oil film on my face which is great if you have dry skin) personally I like to double cleanse so following up with a foam cleanser is a must for me n I have noticed that the oil completely washes off with a foam cleanser

In terms of cleansing I really enjoyed this product. The packaging is very practical, the oil removes all of the makeup without tugging or scratching. The massage improves circulation to face and dislodges grit and any sebum that might be lurking in the pores.
This rather big bottle will last me a really long time as I need only one pump for my face but I do see my self repurchasing this again when I run out.

I recommend you all to try this as its inexpensive, environmental friendly and skin friendly cleansing oil which does not strip moisture from the skin
