[Review] nada BumpyX THE BUBBLE CLEANSER

After having a great experience with the Nada  sheetmasks. I bought the nada BumpyX THE BUBBLE CLEANSER from Jolse

Nada is probably one of the most underrated korean skincare brand that people need to try. The packaging is cute and the skincare line is very simple and fuss free

Features
AHA Fruits Complex, salicylic acid, and oat powder extract cleanses the skin clean.Prebiotics and panthenol ingredients mildly soothes and cleanses the troubled skin. The dense and fine bubbles like whipped cream smoothly deep cleanses the skin with moisture.

The packaging teminds me of Russian  Matryoshka dolls. Its so cute specially the outer box. I really appreciate all the love and creativity that was put into manufacturing the box.  The cleanser comes in  a simple bottle with a pump mechanism. Overall its sturdy and really good quality

The packaging says AHA Fruit complex I was a bit skeptic about the description because I tried a toner by Elizavecca which had AHA Fruit complex in it and it smelled like old rags. Thankfully this smelled really good and floral. I really enjoyed the scent

The forms decent sized bubble/foam. the experience overall is enjoyable . I have noticed that this removes sebum and dust from the face without overly drying my skin.  I seriously cant point out any negative points for this cleanser. It cute and inexpensive.

nada RoughX Blue Mask (already reviewed on my instagram)

Contains Akuak Seal, Prebiotics, Aloe Vera leaf extract and mud mushroom extract

The sheet is made of microfiber so it soaks up all the serum in the pack. The serum has a  semi gel like consistency with a slip to it. This has a medicinal/slightly herbal scent to it. This has the perfect fit. The eye, nose and mouth cut outs were perfect. Moreover it adhered like second skin. I wore this for 30 mins. The serum absorbed easily and didn't leave any tacky residue behind

My skin felt soft and I didnt get any breakouts the next day. I see myself purchasing more of these in future for sure

Nada BumpyX THE BUBBLE CLEANSER products can be purchased at Jolse.com

REVIEW : Leegeham Tea Tree 30 Cleansing Foam & Leegeeham Tea Tree 70 Mist Toner

Hello Everyone
Happy New Year to you all
I have tried out the LEEGEEHAM TEA TREE 90 Essence and swear by its acne reducing properties. Its definitely my HG Treatment for acne and pimples.
The whole tea tree line by Leegeeham is effective as it each product contains a certain percentage of tea tree extract in it take the essence for example it contains 90% of tea tree extract while the cleanser contains 30% and the mist toner 70% cool right.
Many people use Benzoyl peroxide (H2O2) for treating pimples as its a disinfectant and kills all the bacteria on the skin but it drys out the skin and kill all bacteria even the skin friendly ones so tea tree oil is the best alternative to benzoyl peroxide when it comes to acne prone skin

Leegeham  Tea Tree  30 Cleansing Foam
This comes in a huge plastic squeeze tube which holds 150 ml of product in it.the packaging is really simple and sleek looking.
The tube is sealed for quality assurance and to maintain freshness of the product.
This cleanser contains about 30% tea tree extract which is perfect. I know you might be thinking that cleanser don't sit on the skin for long but i do believe that using cleansers with  active ingredients can help if you use them for longer duration. I have searched on google and found that this cleanser has a PH of 5.5 which is perfect as it matches the PH of skin.

INGREDIENTS
Water, Melaleuca AIternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, Potassium Laureth Phosphate, Potassium Cocoyl Glycinate, Sodium Cocoyl Alaninate, Acrylate Copolymer, Lauramide EDA, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Citric Acid, Centella Asiatica Extract, Adansonia Digitata Leaf Extract, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Water, Salix Nigra (Willow) Bark Extract, Vorus Alba Root Extract, Hippophae Rhamonoides Fruit Extract, Trehalose, Spirodeia Polythiza Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Glycerin, Butylene Glycol, Cocamide DEA, Styrene / Acrylates Copolymer, Sodium Benzoate, Potassium Hydroxide, PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate, Sodium Cholride, Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose, Guar Hydroxypropylitrimonium Chloride, Phenoxyethanol, Disodium EDTA

This is designed for
Pore tightening
Intensive moisturizing
Soothes blemish prone skin
This cleanser has a herbal scent to it and feels like a gel (milky). I have noticed that only a small amount of product is required for the cleanser to foam up ( the foam is mild/ bubble like). This cleans up the skin well leaving it soft and hydrated. I have been using this for a while now and noticed that this has helped with the acne and breakouts.
If you look the ingredient list closely you are going to notice that there are a lot of great skin beneficial extracts such as centella asiatica, baobap leaf extract, witch hazel water, willow bark extract

Leegeeham Tea Tree 70 Mist Toner
I honestly didnt care much about toners and thought of them as a gimmicky skincare step. But then I took the plunge and tried out a few      Korean toners and wow now they are one of the most important part of my skincare routine.

This toner by Leegeeham is unique in two ways.
1. It contains 70 tea tree extract
2. It comes in mist container so instead of using a cotton round for application ( or in my case palm of hand) you can just spray it directly onto the face.
Less wastage of product = save more money

This is formulated to balance out skin moisture, provide soothing care and brighten dull skin
The bottle is really slim amd holds 100ml of product. The mist works really well in distributing the product evenly on the face. I usually spray three times on my face.
Since its winter I only spray this twice a day after cleansing my face but I am sure I am going to enjoy this more in summer when the weather is going to be hot. And I will need some thing to refresh my skin
Ingredient
Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Extract, DI-Water, Niacinamide, Sorbitol, Disodium EDTA, Hamamelis Virginiana (Witch Hazel) Extract, 1, 2-Hexanediol, Illicium Verum (Anise) Fruit Extract, Scutellaria Baicalensis Root Extract, Butylene Glycol, Rhus Semialata Gall Extract, Cucumis Sativus (Cucumber) Fruit Extract, Enantia Chlorantha Bark Extract, Oleanolic Acid, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Fruit Extract, Pyrus Malus (Apple) Fruit Extract, Citrus Limon (Lemon) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract
This feels nice on the skin, the texture is water like and does not leave a tacky / sticky residue. I like how it helps in layering up skincare products. While inspecting the ingredient list I have noticed that this contains  Niacinamide for brightening and aloe juice to soothe and heal the skin.
Overall a great product suitable for all skin types particularly oily and acne prone skin

HEALAVIE Soft Rubbing Cleansing oil gel

When I started out with my makeup I didn't knew how important it was to take makeup off and how residual makeup was harming my skin but as years passed on i began to learn about skincare and the importance of a thoroughly cleansed face. Though I have tried out so many makeup removers and face cleansers this year but I still try out never formulas and types of makeup removers. I cant pick out a favourite easily. But if i have to choose an oil cleanser I am going to pick this HEALAVIE Soft Rubbing Cleansing oil gel

Packaging
⛄ I will start with the packaging which gets my full approval for being so well made (look at that lemon color 😍 it totally stands out on my vanity table) the bottle is made out of plastic and is very sturdy. I have accidently dropped this several times and its still intact. The bottle is totally spill proof + the pump mechanism gives 100% control on dispensing the oil gel. This very hygienic bottle holds a generous 150ml of product.
About the product:

The formula of this cleanser is unique and the qualities stated are true. This is marketed as a facial cleanser / makeup remover
Once you press the pump a citrus scent transparent yellow gel comes out from the nozzle. Now here is the interesting  interesting part, the "GEL"  once it comes in contact with warm skin it turns into oil cool right? But the oil is viscous so it does not drips down and create a mess. I like to usually warm up the gel on the palm of my hands and then massage the oil onto my face in circular motion. After 1 minute of gentle rubbing I wash it off with water. (the oil turns milky once it mixes with water and washes off easily without leaving a greasy residue or oil film. So you can totally skip up on the second cleanser if you want to
I usually use a quarter size amount on my face on days when I am wearing several layers of makeup( sunscreen / primer/ foundation/ setting powder) and when I have just my bb cream on then pea size amount is more than enough. The cleanser has the ability to remove waterproof makeup without much effort. It breaks down layers of base makeup and water proof mascara so easily And unlike some cleansers this leaves the skin soft and clean. Just cant have enough of this citrusy oil gel cleanser 🙆. Great Job Healavie!

[Review] Alive Lab Centella dressing foam

Alive lab is a Korea skincare brand popular for their ice cream skincare line. They have very unique skincare products with interesting ingredient list. One that particularly piked my curiosity was centella blemish powder. A product which can be mixed with any cream and applied directly onto the problematic areas of face They were kind enough to send me a few products to try out today I will be reviewing centella dressing foam a mild cleanser which effectively reduces oil from the face and calms down any skin irritation or redness. it also effective in reducing skin aging and acne

Here is what the brand has to say about this product
Centella Dressing Foam, which provides deep cleansing care without irritation.
1. You can use it without any concern about trouble, as it is formulated with Centella water.
2. A mild cleanser with soft and foamy bubbles.
3. You can feel fresh after usig it due to its natural detergent.
Packaging: Its a nice mint  green squeeze tube which looks simple and nice
Quantity: 120ml
About the product
This face cleanser smells of herbs some which I don't mind as the scent does not linger for longer duration and is mild

This cleanser is white in color and foams when massage onto the skin. The bubbles are mild nothing too crazy. Overall it feels nice on the skin. It does such a nice job in calming my skin and reducing redness. It does not dry out the skin nor does it makes it too oily. My skin feels soft and refreshed. I have been using this for two weeks and I am so happy to report that my skin looks so much better. This has helped with the acne flare ups that i experience during monsoon.
This is a nice cleanser which improves skin texture with regular use. Definitely one of the best face cleansers I have used in a while

Thankyou Alive lab for giving me the opportunity to try out this amazing product

Garnier Skinactive Micellar cleansing water review

The review of this product has been pushed off  for quite some time. I apologise for the delay but I wanted to try this cleanser properly to analyze all the properties (the goods and the bads) and to see for myself if all the hype which surrounds this cleanser was true.

Even though I totally love my Bioderma Sensibio H2O Micellar water, I wanted to know if there was a less expensive alternative available in the market. I purchased the 125ml version of this cleanser. This also comes in a big 400ml bottle too which retails for 500 Pkr
About the packaging:
This has a very chic looking bottle which is transparent and has a pink cap. The cap is secure( I haven't noticed any spillage so far) on the bottle it claims that you can get about 60 uses from a single bottle which is amazing. Because this 125 ml cost about 200 pkr and to me 60 uses translates as 2 months of usage, very cosy effective👍

About the product:
This is just like water, transparent clear and has no scent. Upon shaking the bottle some bubbles are formed. The cleanser dispenses out from the bottle quite easily without making a mess. I used this by soaking my makeup removing cotton pad with micellar water and then gentle wiping my face with it. This removed the foundation from my face with one swipe. I had to go over my lips twice to remove the matte lipstick. It removed the eyeliner and eyeshadow without much effort but for mascara I had to hold the cotton pad on my lashes for a minute to loosen up the mascara

I am quite impressed with its performance. I have heard a lot people complain that this made their skin breakout luckily I haven't experience any skin irritation or pimples while using this product so far. One thing though this leaves a slightly moist residual feel to the skin. I usually follow this up with a face cleanser so its not much of a problem for me but for those who want their skin to feel dry . You might have to consider trying out some other makeup remover.
Are you curious to know how this compares to Bioderma sensibio H2O Micellar water?? Stay tuned to my blog to see an unbiased comparison post coming up soon
Until next time
Bye

Nature republic aloe cleansing gel cream

Hello
My skin has thankful gone back to normal and luckily the scars have reduced considerably. So I am now back to. Using cleansers which reduce oil production. One of the products which is still a part of my skincare routine is this gel cleanser by nature republic. If you look through my cabinet you might be very amused to see the number of cleansers/makeup removers I currently own Its insane .I think I don't have to buy another cleanser for next two years now 😊

Back to the review, I purchased this cleanser from the skinmaskaurade exhibition. I feel like kicking myself now for not purchasing more things from the exhibition( major regrets) this cleanser comes in a mint green squeezable tube which holds about 150ml of product inside. The nozzle was sealed when I purchased this. This has a green cap which does not close properly.( I think I got one with faulty lid)

Now onto the real deal which is inside the tube. Nature republic markets this product as a makeup remover which hydrates and moisturizes skin. When I removed the seal I was met with a very pleasant fresh scent of the cleanser. On squeezing the tube gel came out . The gel is clear and has a watery feel to it. It doesn't lather up at all and has a bitter taste to it. After using this the scent remained on my face for sometime.
Now Nature republic recommends to massage this gel  onto the face to remove makeup and impurities and then wipe it off with a tissue and then follow it with a foam cleanser. I improvised on the instructions a bit and after massaging this on my face I removed it with water. Here's what I noticed this didn't completely remove my makeup. The base makeup was definitely gone but traces of eyeliner, mascara and liquid lipstick were still there for reference I use non water proof mascara.

Since makeup removing properties are not on par with my Garnier and Bioderma Micellar water I have decided to use this as a regular face wash and I am very pleased to tell you guys that this has helped my skin so much. It removes the oil from my face so well moreover my sebaceous glands have started behaving themselves. This does hydrate and moisture the skin unlike many of face washes I have tried in the past this does not leaves my skin overly dry and flaky.

As a makeup cleanser this product has some deficiencies but as a face wash / face cleanser I think this is a good product
This retails for 6$ on nature republic's official website and can be purchased in Pakistan for about 900 Pkr.
Have you tried anything by nature republic? Would you recommend any product by this brand to me??
