Sweet touch England Matte Lipstick in shade 730

Sweet touch England is a local pakistani brand which has a lot of great makeup products in their arsenal. They are currently stocked up at makeup city and few other well known retailers across the country.

Today I am reviewing a matte lipstick 💄 by them which has a slight pearl finish. I have been attracted to metallic lipsticks for a fairly long time but no sadly when ever i tried out a metallic lipstick on my  👄  it turned out quite horrible. See the lipstick settled into the fines lines and made my lips look like dried up prunes. Ewww not the look I have in mind. But this matte lipstick by sweet touch England made my dream come true.

This lipstick has a matte finish so its slightly drying on the lips but the formula does not drags on the lips , rather the bullet  glides with easy. The color is a beautiful slightly metallic pink/rosy shade. The color is opague so one swipe completely conceals  the original lip color. I am happy to tell you guys that this lipstick does not settle into the fine lines at all. This has a good lasting power. 6-7 hrs without eating or drinking.

This has a pink mauve-y cover with a silver twist up casing. The cap shuts firmly so no fear of lipstick all over in the purse .

In case of eating this leaves behind a stain.

I have a few shades on my wish list already so expect a big haul post when I visit makeup city.

Haul post: 1st haul of year 2017

despite the fact that i made a resolution to spend less money on cosmetics and other stuff i caved in to temptation and ended up buying a lot of stuff this month ,

so here it is the the very first haul of year 2017

i purchased  this amazing mascara by essence for 450 Pkr and the very hyped up la girl hd pro concealer in porcelain  for Pkr 550 so far so good i will be testing these products out for  a week to write down a final verdict on their performance

i bought another clazona matte lipgloss this time in the shade 514, its  a beautiful cool red looks absolutely gorgeous, i know i don't wear red lipstik but i intend to create a gradient lipcolor with this matte lipgloss. the shopkeeper charged me 250 Pkr for this matte lipgloss this time

the highlight of this post is definitely this beautiful choker i purchased from a stall. i really like the contrast of red and green beads paired with the sparkling rhinestone and gold details, now i have to wait for a event to wear it to , lol

i bought this wispies type eyelashes from artimatic for Pkr 80 and they do look fluttery and feminine

also i purchased this garnier eye makeup remover and  round cotton makeup removing pads. i actually sent my brother to buy me the clear big bottle of garnier mi-cellar water but he accidentally bought this one for Pkr 300 and the makeup removing cotton pads for Pkr 100

Best and Worst of year 2016 in terms of Makeup and Skincare

Here is break down report of what I think are the worst beauty products of year 2016

Worst beauty products :

Freemans cucumber mask was the worst mask I have ever tried despite all the rav-views it got the mask does nothing to the skin. Its just like spreading water glue on the face and peeling it off. total waste of money , skin renewing and moisturizing are you kidding me???


Ponds toner is another product which turned out to be a disappointment. It didn't clean my skin or balanced out ph of my face in fact it just made my pores clog up and made my skin break out terribly
 the only thing good was its scent and thats it !!!

The very hyped about korean peel off lip tint was another waste of money, it didn't stain my lip a slight bit. the stain just bled on slight contact with water and made me look like a Dracula.

What I think was the best discovered product and what was worth the investment

I experimented with false eyelashes this year and discovered a lot of great affordable lashes in the local market and found the design which suits my eyes best

Best discovery was Korean sheet masks, these beauties are wonderful and give instant punch of hydration, give a very luxurious spa like feel

Good investment was the holika holika bb cream, its smells nice, long lasting and has medium coverage so looks natural on the skin

Also found a skin cream for my oily skin by oriflame which does not causes breaks out and has hydrating properties suitable for oily skin

Clazona matte lip gloss , our very own paksitani liquid lipsticks easy on the pocket , vast color selection and very long lasting

My new year resolutions for the year 2017

I plan to try more  Korean makeup and skincare products as I have been impressed with what I have tried last year

I also plan to write more quality blog posts this year

I am going to try to post makeup looks this year on my blog

Extend my skincare collection and add some good skincare products to my inventory

Just like last year I resolve to finish up more makeup products from my makeup collection

Try to gain at least 5 kg more weight (I am terribly underweight)

Stop buying makeup on impulse

Empties  for the year of 2016

admittedly a few empties ended up in the trash can which i forgot to photograph but the ones i managed to save in a bag are here in this photograph, i finished a full sized chubby stick, a lip balm, eyeliner, a full size face mask and a sun screen , the rest are sheet masks and sample sized creams i finished :)

Clazona 24 hr matte lipgloss

Every one has been going crazy over the launch of Kylie Jenner lip kits,  i have seen so many rave views that now i am also curious to try out the product and see what the hype is all about but firstly my financial conditions do not allow me to dish out so many dollars for the lipstick secondly its so hard to get a authentic makeup product in Pakistan . i have seen a lot of shady Facebook pages popping up lately claiming that they sell original branded makeup 

so to ease the empty feeling in my heart i decided to order color pop but before i could place my order i discovered this gem of a product manufactured by a local Pakistani brand,

Clazona a pakistani makeup brand is bringing out quality makeup products in the market for a long time and these matte lipgloss are no exceptions

they do exactly what it says on the tube, stay on the lips for 24+ hrs
disclaimer i didnt wear this lip product for that long but one of my friend did went to sleep with this on and it was still on her lips in the morning , no smudging , minimal flaking

Price: 150- 200 Pkr

Packaging :

just a like an ordinary lipgloss with a doe foot application , tube closes securely so no leakage

About the product: 

its a opaque lipgloss which  drys to a matte finish, has a faint chemical scent, does not budge or smudge , totally water proof , not drying or uncomfortable on the lips , a very thin layer is suitable for flawless applications
drys off quite fast so you have to be very quick when applying it which also means that its very hard to correct mistakes 

do  exfoliate your lips befire applying else its going to look like like your lips are flaking off

survives after meals , very long lasting 

i have this lipgloss in two shade
one in shade # 504 qnd the other in shade #507

Shade #504 is a dusty nude shade looks beautiful and natural on the lips
Shade # 507 is orange brown shade

Tip: to remove it from the lips use a lotion on a cotton ball or tissue

essence xxxl longlasting lipgloss matte in soft nude

Essence has been coming up with a lot new interesting makeup products launched recently, the one which intrigued me most was this matte lipgloss
the whole concept is very interesting besides the color range is small yet versatile from nude to bold an innocent dusty pink, a shade to cater every ones individual personality

Price about 400- 420 PKR

About the packaging 

stabdart plastic lipgloss tube with a long applicator, very secure cap a thin sponge flexible applicator
sorry i dont know if the applicator has a special name to it

My thoughts:

first of all its smells amazing. pretty much all the essence lip products have a candy like scent, this one smells like caramel. its very moisturizing and has a smooth moose like texture not runny or gloopy at all. in the beging the lips look shiny but after about 5-10 minutes they the gloss drys to semi matte finish
the lasting power is pretty disaaponiting. it hardly survives on my lips for 2 hrs. and when eating or drinking it disppears immediately. i dont know if its the same with the rest of the shades or this shade particularly

i would describe this as a nude brown color, very beautiful goes well with the essence lip liner in the shade" in the nude"

this lipstick can sometimes accentuate fine lines and dry spots on the lips so exfoliate before applying it

in terms of staying power its a bummer but when applied on top of a lipliner it does lasts a bit longer
the color is beautiful so i personally though that reapplication through out the day can be over looked

mua blush Bon Bon

this is going to be the shortest blog post i have ever written, the reason being that i am out of city for a while and i wrote and scheduled my posts in advance, so i wrote what i could in the little time i had and let the pictures do the talking 

i already own a few MUA blushes, Marshmallow being the most favorite out of them all(you can read the review here)
