[Review] Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation 02 Beige

I tried the INK Matte Blur Cushion from Peri Pera and initially was bit sad by its lasting power but after setting it with a powder I found out that it lasted for more than 10 hrs on my face. Plus with time the finish transforms into more glass like dewy look so it looks really good

So I wanted to see if the Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation had the same qualities.
The packaging is made out of soft plastic with a narrow nozzle to dispense the product. The plastic aspect makes this shatter proof. The size is small so you can easily take this along with you on a trip

Features
Covers the skin lightly and comfortably with the coverage of concealers and the smooth texture of foundations.
The long-lasting coverage fixes the makeup on the skin all day long with superb adherence.
The smooth texture of the cover foundation spreads smoothly on the skin without smearing.

This foundation has a very thin, runny formula. Its easy to blend and sets immediately . In my opinion you dont need a setting powder on top with this as it sets to an almost matte finish. So in winters translucent powder on top can just accentuate skin texture and dry patches

The coverage leans towards medium coverage. It blurs out pores and covers discoloration but not pimples/ acne scars/ moles so you do need concealer on top. I have this in shade 02 Beige which like a perfect match for my fair skin ( I use shade #21 in korean foundations/ cushions)

I like to apply this with a help of a cushion puff as I get the maximum coverage and matte finish with it. Compared to other foundations I do have to use a lot more than usual as its runny and gets soaked up by the puff / beauty blender

I think this is very close to the Peri Pera INK Matte Blur Cushion in terms of formula. Its long lasting and feels very nice on the skin. This is something I would purchase again and again along with the cushion as it works like magic on my skin

Peripera Inklasting Cover Foundation along with Peri Pera INK Matte Blur Cushion is available on Jolse

[Review] peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion #02 Neutral Vanilla

Peripera is a sister brand of Clio so naturally the products have a quality similar to that of Clio. ( Clio makes one of the best cushion and lipsticks) Peripera has previously released a lot of cushion products this is one of the new launches. This cushion is designed as an all in one product which blurs pores, and keeps the skin sebum free

Features
Triple Layering Powder Complex expresses even the oily skin smoothly and freshly.
Bonding Formula keeps the makeup fresh and without the need for makeup corrections.
Lightweight powder covers the skin brightly without stuffiness or stimulating the skin

This comes in three colors :
#01 Pure Ivory
#02 Neutral Vanilla
#03 Honey Beige

After looking at the swatches online I decided to go with #22 Neutral Vanilla since #23 looked too dark for my skin and #21 looked like it will suit pale skin better. But when I applied it to my hand the color resembled the standard #21 of korean foundation. Personally I am not surprised much because Peripera is known for its inaccurate product swatches

This comes with a refill. The packaging for some reason reminds me of beach ( neon pink ) . I am a bit skeptic about the cushion puff though. Its soft and squishy but the strap is made of plastic material and I fear it it is going to break easily. This comes in with a 14g Refill which makes this cushion really good value .

The color #22 turned out be a  slightly lighter than my skin color ( its summer and I have a light tan ). The coverage is light to medium and gives semi matte finish. Even though it has powder particles in it to control sebum it transfers/ rubs off easily from the skin. I wore this to work (6-7hrs) and my base makeup looked patchy at some areas like my chin and nose. This also has a mild floral scent and does not oxidize to a darker color

I think you do need a setting powder on top to  keep the foundation in place and look fresh all day. I don't think its a bad or disappointing cushion . I just think that Pakistani Summer's require a more long-lasting foundation which can withstand 42°C and excessive sweating.

I am going to use  peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion more once the mercury comes down a few degrees as I feel this will work with my skin a lot better then.

peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion is currently sold at Jolse.com
