[Review] peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion #02 Neutral Vanilla

Peripera is a sister brand of Clio so naturally the products have a quality similar to that of Clio. ( Clio makes one of the best cushion and lipsticks) Peripera has previously released a lot of cushion products this is one of the new launches. This cushion is designed as an all in one product which blurs pores, and keeps the skin sebum free

Features
Triple Layering Powder Complex expresses even the oily skin smoothly and freshly.
Bonding Formula keeps the makeup fresh and without the need for makeup corrections.
Lightweight powder covers the skin brightly without stuffiness or stimulating the skin

This comes in three colors :
#01 Pure Ivory
#02 Neutral Vanilla
#03 Honey Beige

After looking at the swatches online I decided to go with #22 Neutral Vanilla since #23 looked too dark for my skin and #21 looked like it will suit pale skin better. But when I applied it to my hand the color resembled the standard #21 of korean foundation. Personally I am not surprised much because Peripera is known for its inaccurate product swatches

This comes with a refill. The packaging for some reason reminds me of beach ( neon pink ) . I am a bit skeptic about the cushion puff though. Its soft and squishy but the strap is made of plastic material and I fear it it is going to break easily. This comes in with a 14g Refill which makes this cushion really good value .

The color #22 turned out be a  slightly lighter than my skin color ( its summer and I have a light tan ). The coverage is light to medium and gives semi matte finish. Even though it has powder particles in it to control sebum it transfers/ rubs off easily from the skin. I wore this to work (6-7hrs) and my base makeup looked patchy at some areas like my chin and nose. This also has a mild floral scent and does not oxidize to a darker color

I think you do need a setting powder on top to  keep the foundation in place and look fresh all day. I don't think its a bad or disappointing cushion . I just think that Pakistani Summer's require a more long-lasting foundation which can withstand 42°C and excessive sweating.

I am going to use  peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion more once the mercury comes down a few degrees as I feel this will work with my skin a lot better then.

peripera Ink Matte Blur Cushion is currently sold at Jolse.com

[REVIEW] Leejeeham life sun cushion spf 50 pa++++

Sunscreen are a crucial when it come to protecting your skin from premature aging and wrinkles. I seriously regret all those times when I never wore sunscreen and thought my skin was better-off without.  I could have saved my skin from so much damage and hyper pigmentation. Sigh!! So girls don't make the same skincare mistake I did.
This might shock some of you but according to some dermatologists (source: Google) you are suppose to re-apply sunscreen every 2 hrs as sun screen wears off with time. Now I don't know if its a marketing hoax (to make more sales) or a legit fact but for those of you who do re apply sunscreen after every few hours here is product to make things easier without ruining your makeup

I have been a huge fan of cushion foundations/ bb creams ever since they have been launched. the concept of them is so travel friendly and vintage. Do you know it was once considered every fashionable to apply powder or lipstick in public 😄
But I was so surprised and intrigued when i found out that now you can even have your sunscreen in a cushion compact packaging. Who would have though of such a cool idea?
Leejeeham life sun cushion spf 50 pa++++ is a cushion sunscreen which delivers a beautiful semi matte glow to the face and gives it maximum sun protection from both UVA & UVB radiations.

It has avery chic looking white compact which a matte plastic casing. Inside these is a beautiful pink air cell puff and a mirror

Like all cushion compacts this is sealed to maintain the freshness and prevent the product from drying out. Once I peeled off the plastic cover I was greeted with a pleasant scent. It mild and doesn't lingers for long onto the skin

The sunscreen looks pink in the cushion compact but once applied onto the face this light weight sunscreen turns close to translucent so a slight pink hue/white cast. The air cell puff makes it handy it to apply the sunscreen over makeup. You can wear this under makeup too. It gives a lit from within glow.
Though I am guilty of not reapplying my sunscreen through out the day I definitely find it very handy to use early in the morning some days especially Sundays when I feel too lazy to pit on makeup I usually apply this over my face and go out to pick groceries with my mother at the bazaar. This just keeps my face safe from sun damage and makes my skin look toned up so I look put together with minimal effort 😊
This cushion sunscreen is admittedly on the pricier side but the convenient chic white packaging, flash back free formula and minimum white cast, SPF 50 with PA++++ makes this a winner. The cushion can be popped out and replaced with a refill so this also environmental friendly and it comes with a mirror too 4/5 💎💎💎💎💎
☀ In my opinion Asian sunscreens are definitely worth splurging, as the formulation is suitable for sensitive, oily and acne prone skin

kbeautilicious product review: IOPE, Banila co, Eunyul

II recently had an opportunity to try out a couple of products by kbeautilicious. So after a week of testing. I am going to review them

IOPE  Air Cushion RX

The first thing I tried out was the Iope air cushion rx in sample size. Now I have cushion foundations in my wish list for almost 1 year. Since this is a sample version there is no air puff applicator but rather the regular latex sponge  to apply foundation.

The foundation is in shade n 21 vanilla which matched my skin perfectly it has light to medium coverage and the formula is very hydrating on the skin. I also detected a slight scent was was pleasant and not bothersome. This foundation lasted for 5hrs on my face and began to rub off after that from certain spots on my face. I think this is best suited for dry skin and winter season when the skin tends to become dry and flaky

Will I purchase the full version? Definitely

Banila and co. Clean it zero

This is an extremely hyped up balm like oil cleanser which is made up of mineral oil. Now a little word of warning ⚠ here: Mineral oil is a comedogenic agent so if you have acne prone skin steer clear of this cleanser.  I scooped up a bit of product with my fingers and it began to melt instantly. I massaged this into my skin and washed it water and double cleansed  my face with a gel cleanser

this balm is an oil cleanser which loosen ups the makeup and tough oil proof formulas which Are hard to be easily washed off with a regular cleanser.  i just removed my face makeup with this and it worked pretty well. I did a little research and found out that this cleanser comes in a few other variants for sensitive , oily and acne prone skin.

Will I purchase the full size version? Hell yes why not?

Eunyul Natural Moisture Mask Pack in Collagen

Even though I am in my twenties I have tried out a lot of collagen masks already. Collagen is a good hydrating agent. It has skin forming and wrinkle reducing properties. Unlike the many sheet masks I have tried out before this mask by eunyul comes in a smaller packaging but contains equal amount of product in I.e 22ml

Reducing the plastic packaging dimensions is a very eco friendly decision I must say. This has a strong smell but it was not bad. I applied the mask on my face and waited for the serum to absorb into my skin for 40 mins. The serum made my skin itch slightly but it wasn't to uncomfortable. After removing the mask I pated my face and neck with the remaining serum. My skin felt instantly hydrated and a little plump.the effect remained for the whole day. To get full effect I think one has to use the mask consistently for quite some days.

thats all
