ALTHEA BARE ESSENTIALS REVIEW

I had these ALTHEA BARE ESSENTIALS in my stash for some time but never got around to trying these because I was distracted by other products. A deep spring clean is what bought these to my attention. Poor babies they have been catching dust in my skincare cabinet for so long

Great makeup starts from great skin - minimize your base make-up with Althea Bare Essentials! With nourishing ingredients and easy execution, this 3-product regime breaks down and simplifies the K-beauty routine for the urban woman
There are a total of 3 products  in this range. I didn't open the cleanser because I already have 3 cleansers open at the moment. The packaging is simple and minimal which emphasizes the fact that the product itself is very basic and designed for all skin types

Smooth, hydrating and ever so slightly balm-like, this bottle of wonder penetrates into the layers of the skin to plump them up, prepping the skin and making it a smooth canvas for products to come. Use together with the Contour Cleanser and Fixer Cream for best results! Don't just cover up - complete your makeup with your skin.

- Hydrates and preps the layers of the skin
- “Dewdrops” soften and improve suppleness
- Primer that smooths out unevenness
Snow lotus - Smoothens and brightens the skin while evening out its texture
Patented "dewdrop" formulation - Revitalizes the skin and provides immediate, effective moisture

Althea Korea Bare Essentials Prime water -- a very basic toner with mininal skin calming ingredients. Looks milky in the bottle ( I was afraid that it might be like laneige cream skin refiner but thankfully its not) this absorbs quickly . Does not feel heavy. A nice introductory product for someone who wamts to jump onto the skincare bandwagon

This is something that I have been using day and night in my skincare routine for last 2 months. It absorbs quickly and leaves a soft matte finish. It also works great as toner pack. (Update I loved this so much that I used up all of this )

Fixer Cream. powerful moisturizing properties are packed into this little jar that provides the skin with hydration for up to 24 hours for a fresh, revitalized complexion. Use together with the Contour Cleanser and Primer Water for best results! Don't just cover up - complete your makeup with your skin.

Penetrates deep into the layers of the skin to plump them

- 24-hour hydration
- Non-sticky finish once absorbed
Trehalose - Powerful humectant that retains moisture on the skin
Wild Green Tea - Hydrating, skin soothing and pack with antioxidant
Baobab Tree Extract - Non-greasy moisturizing agent that helps promote collagen production

Althea Korea Bare Essentials Fixing cream. This is also a No nonsense skincare product which adds sufficient hydration to the skin. It is multitasking product and can be used as a primer. I can see why myrabeautydiary likes this product a lot. For my oily skin this is a really light non suffocating cream. But if you have dry skin . You should either layer this twice or apply a facial oil on top

It is currently summer here and I have been using this everyday the texture is light enough to be used everyday without clogging the skin.

Many people think that the packaging and concept mirrors the Muji Skincare line. I personally have not tried anything from Muji so I can't compare. For the price I really like this line. It is basic and great for anyone who is just starting skincare care . It is also good for someone who's skin is over whelmed by multiple steps and want to go on a skincare diet
