Today's review is going to be on a brand which is little heard of outside South Korea but is quite popular skincare brand used by dermatologist and aestheticians in Korea.
I am a huge fan of 3 step sheet masks. They work great as at home spa treatment, or as skincare diet when you want to minimize your skincare products. This particular one contains an ampoule/concentrate , a highly nourishing cream and a sheet mask.
Starting with the packaging its simple and chic with instructions and ingredients list clearly printed in Hangul and English on back. There is a pictogram as well to illustrate the steps more clearly.
The instructions suggest applying toner on a clean face, then applying Step 1: EGF concentrate on it, follow it with Step 2 : Rejuvenating cream and conclude the regime with Step 3: Sheetmask ( apply for 30 mins)
Epithelial Growth Factor abbreviated to EGF is one of known Anti Ageing ingredient popular for reducing appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. Its also considered to be effective in reducing appearance of post acne scars. Though there is a lot of research going on to figure out its true abilities and effect. This is the current known opinion about this particular Ingredient.
Step 1: the EGF concentrate
has a water like consistency its very runny and can spill easily if one is not careful. But this is so much hydrating than many regular ampoules.
Step 2 : Rejuvenation Cream
This has a nice thick silky smooth texture which spreads easily onto the skin. This cream due to its rich hydrating formula takes some time, absorbing into the skin.
Step 3: Moisturizer Sheet Mask
The final step to seal in all the moisture from the previous steps. Starting with the fit this has the perfect shape which fits my face perfectly. From what I can recall only few masks in the past have fit my face like this.
The adherance is good. This stayed on my face without falling off for almost 35 mins. Even after that duration the sheet had left over essence in it and was wet. ( I don't know if it was because of cold weather/less evaporation) . The essence is transparent in color and gives nice cooling feel. Its not sticky and has waterlike texture. It feels so soothing and luxurious on the skin. I wear my sheetmasks for 30-40 mins for maximum benefit. I wore this one for 35 mins. The sheet felt gentle on my skin
I can clearly see why its popular choice among dermatologist and aestheticians.
