[Review] Atoclassic Real Tonic Soothing First Toner

I rediscovered this forgotten gem in my skincare closet last month and thought about posting a detailed review of this lovely toner that everyone should be talking about.

The Real Tonic Soothing First Toner from ATOCLASSIC is formulated with 12 Hanbang herbal extractions. Even the most sensitive skin can use it as it’s low irritant and skin friendly. It will hydrate and revitalize your skin. It’s composed with Tannins extracted from Pomegranate, along with skin calming Honeysuckle.

I have this in 50 ml bottle which camse in my my Joah Box travel edition. Overall the bottle is made of light weight plastic with a shiny golden lid. The minimal design holds a charm of its own and actually looks quite expensive

HOW TO USE : Apply this toner as first step after cleansing to soothe, balance, and even out your skin tone

Ingredients :

Water, Dipropylene Glycol, Propanediol, 1.2-Hexanediol, Glycerin, Panthenol, Polysorbate 20, Betaine, Polygonum Multiflorum Root Extract, Paeonia Lactiflora Extract, Lonicera Japonica (Honeysuckle) Flower Extract, Angelica Gigas Root Extract, Cinnamomum Cassia Bark Extract,Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorice) Root Extract, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract, Solanum Lycopersium (Tomato) Fruit Extract, Punica Granatum (Pomegranate) Fruit Extract, Houttuynia Cordata Extract, Camellia Sinensis Leaf Extract, Codonopsis Lanceolata Root Extract, Perilla Ocymoides Seed Extract, Myrtus Communis Extract, Tropaeolum Majus Extract, Hydroxyacetophenone, Adenosine, Arginine, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Sodium Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Allantoin, Caprylyl Glycol, Ethylhexylglycerin, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil

The ingredients list is long but this is hanbang skincare so a long list of plants extracts is to be expected. I was totally surprised by the subtle yet defined herbal scent of this toner. It is not bitter but rather feels soothing. The texture is what caught me my surprise. I anticipated this to have a thick viscous texture of a hyaluronic acid or propolis but it was light like water.

Even though the weather is shifting towards colder temperature.  It is still hot and muggy during the day. And I prefer my light weight skincare products. This actually fits my autumn skincare expectations. It is not too heavy nor too light or drying. The moisture this delivers to the skin is adequate. I thankfully didn't experience any new breakouts or allergic reaction during use.

This really stands out to me as a light weight toner. I would recommend you to try this one. It is affordable, light and based on the methods of traditional korean medicine

You can find this at Bemused Korea website here for purchase.

[Review] Oneoseven Oil In Gel Cleanser

I have tried a fair amount of skincare products from the brand 107 and I have enjoyed pretty much everything. I have been hoarding this in my skincare stash for quite some time and now that my life has become more and more hectic I decided to break open this 2 in 1 product so I could save a bit of time by skipping a skincare step

For reference I am in my early twenties and I have oily/dehyrated skin which breakouts ever now and then.

Oneoseven Oil In Gel is a gentle dual action cleanser that is powerful for removing makeup and dissolving skin impurities. The luxurious oil in gel texture glides on to skin and melts away even the stubbornest of makeup residue, and can be used to massage the skin. After rinsing, it leaves skin clean, soft, and moisturized feelings.

The packaging is very basic a very minimalistic plastic tube with a cap. I like 107  aesthetics in general. The chaga cleanser has a similar packaging too. What makes this stand out from the rest is its simple ingredients list . Yup there is that popular vinegar in the list.

Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Purified Water, Sorbitan Stearate, Sucrose Laurate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sucrose Cocoate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Vinegar

Scent wise it is is almost scent free ( I did detect a hint of oil/vinegar smell but I guess it is probably my imagination )

So I had a 2 in 1 kind of product concept in my because of its name ( oil in gel ) so I assumed this was an oil + gel cleanser but in reality it is actually an oil cleanser but in gel form. The texture is gel but omce you start massaging it into the skin this transforms into an oil like texture. Its very easy to work with and does a really good job of emulsifying makeup + sunscreen . I did face a little trouble removing waterproof mascara with this though.

On contact with water this washes off with a bit if balm like greasy residue. ( something similar to dove moisturizing soap bars ) . For an oily skin person like me, the residue didn't feel pleasant but once I followed it up with a foam cleanser, it washed off completely.  My mother on the other hand has dry skin and she liked the slight film left by the cleanser on her face. Her skin felt more soft post wash.

All in one I do like this cleanser. It works well as a first step cleanser and a small amount goes a long way. You can purchase this at Jolse.com , credithink or bemused korea.com

[Review] The Wisely Garden Skin Water A by Bom

Many of you might be familiar with A by Bom, they make those fantastic and visually attractive flower and leave sheet masks that have been trending on internet lasts year ( I unfortunately haven't tried their sheet masks yet but they are on my wishlist)
Anyways you would be very surprised to know ( I know I was) that A by Bom manufactures a lot more skincare products other than just sheet masks
The Wisely Garden Skin Water is a first step skin toner containing seven plant ingredients with hydrating superpowers including Cactus Flower, Prickly Pear, and Resurrection Plant extracts. This is a gentle yet intensely hydrating toner that improves skin texture and replenishes fragile skin barrier.  It is formulated scent-free, alcohol free, and color-free ( source ~ bemused Korea website)
this is basically a first step toner which  is applied immediately after washing the face, it gives instant hydration to the skin and maintains the moisture and PH balance
This particular toner has a very unique ingredients list
Water, Propanediol, Glycerin, Pentylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Betaine, Chondrus Crispus Extract, Saccharum Officinarum (Sugarcane) Extract, Ethylhexylglycerin, Sodium Citrate, Xanthan Gum, Citric Acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Butylene Glycol, Anastatica Hierochuntica Extract, Opuntia Coccinellifera Fruit Extract, Adansonia Digitata Pulp Extract, Lactobacillus Ferment, Cereus Grandiflorus (Cactus) Flower Extract, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Maltodextrin, Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Extract
Cactus flower prevents loss of moisture from the surface of  skin  it also acts as an antioxidant
Another cactus-derived  ingredient prickly pear nourishes and rejuvenates the skin
I can also spot some other great ingredients like aloe, coconut and lacto bacillus ferment in this toner

Packaging:
This toner is packed in a  cardboard box with an illustration of a cute doll on the top. Inside there is a standard plastic bottle which holds 235ml of product. I found the nozzle like mechanism very practical to dispense out the product.

About the product:
The Wisely Garden Skin Water has a very liquidy, non sticky texture. It just feels like water but once you apply it to the skin it provides extraordinary hydration to the skin .
The claims mass by the brand are true, it is truly fragrance, alcohol and color free
I have been using this for almost two weeks now I love how soft this makes my skin feel. Its perfect for 7 skin method. I know many people apply toners with a cotton square but I don't like wasting my skincare products so I take a generous amount of this toner in the  palm of my hands and then gently pat it on my face
I have oily skin which turns dry in winters and I am totally amazed how easily this reduces the flakiness
In my opinion this is a very versatile product and suitable for all skin types

About the products:
This smells heavenly, its mild and very refreshing ( this is one scent I would love to use in the morning as its so crisp and clean)
The texture is sticky gel like. Its transparent in color but there are tiny white colored particles in the cleanser. I used a small amount of product on the palm of my hand and was surprised how much foam this cleanser created by just a little bit of massaging.

My skin feels visibly brighter and clean. This effectively removes all the sebum from the skin surface while maintaining hydration and retaining skin moisture. I am so surprised to see how soft my skin feels after every use.
I once used this to remove makeup and was shocked how well this cleared my skin of all the dust and makeup
I am very impressed with this cleanser and skincare brand in general because the ingredient list is simple, the packaging is aesthetically pleasing, its parabens free and the PH is perfect.
