[Review] Oneoseven Oil In Gel Cleanser

I have tried a fair amount of skincare products from the brand 107 and I have enjoyed pretty much everything. I have been hoarding this in my skincare stash for quite some time and now that my life has become more and more hectic I decided to break open this 2 in 1 product so I could save a bit of time by skipping a skincare step

For reference I am in my early twenties and I have oily/dehyrated skin which breakouts ever now and then.

Oneoseven Oil In Gel is a gentle dual action cleanser that is powerful for removing makeup and dissolving skin impurities. The luxurious oil in gel texture glides on to skin and melts away even the stubbornest of makeup residue, and can be used to massage the skin. After rinsing, it leaves skin clean, soft, and moisturized feelings.

The packaging is very basic a very minimalistic plastic tube with a cap. I like 107  aesthetics in general. The chaga cleanser has a similar packaging too. What makes this stand out from the rest is its simple ingredients list . Yup there is that popular vinegar in the list.

Ingredients: Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Glycerin, Purified Water, Sorbitan Stearate, Sucrose Laurate, Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed Oil, Sucrose Cocoate, 1,2-Hexanediol, Vinegar 

Scent wise it is is almost scent free ( I did detect a hint of oil/vinegar smell but I guess it is probably my imagination )

So I had a 2 in 1 kind of product concept in my because of its name ( oil in gel ) so I assumed this was an oil + gel cleanser but in reality it is actually an oil cleanser but in gel form. The texture is gel but omce you start massaging it into the skin this transforms into an oil like texture. Its very easy to work with and does a really good job of emulsifying makeup + sunscreen . I did face a little trouble removing waterproof mascara with this though.

 On contact with water this washes off with a bit if balm like greasy residue. ( something similar to dove moisturizing soap bars ) . For an oily skin person like me, the residue didn't feel pleasant but once I followed it up with a foam cleanser, it washed off completely.  My mother on the other hand has dry skin and she liked the slight film left by the cleanser on her face. Her skin felt more soft post wash.

[Review] ONEOSEVEN Low pH Chaga Cleanser

Low pH Chaga Cleanser is one if the latest skincare launch from ONEOSEVEN . I have seen chaga mentioned a lot in the skincare lately but I was unsure what it was . A quick search on internet cleared up the confusion

Chaga:
Inonotus obliquus, commonly known as chaga, is a fungus in the family Hymenochaetaceae. It is parasitic on birch and other trees. The sterile conk is irregularly formed and has the appearance of burnt charcoal (source : wikipedia)

Features
A mild and acidulous cleanser that clears the skin with Chaga mushroom and 10 Complex.
Inonotus Obliquus Extract(Chaga mushroom) moisturizes and improves the skin with elasticity. The moist jelly texture cleanses and tends the skin healthily with 5-year-old natural vinegar ferment

The packaging is simple. A grey squeeze tube with a white flip cap. I am so happy to see Hangul and English description on the box . The Brand has also fulky disclosed the ingredients list on the box.

I peeled off the seal and took a whiff, the scent reminded me of citrus and tangerines. The texture of the cleanser is one of a kind. Its jelly like and has small bits embedded in it. I was very confused when I first applied it to my hand. Is this really a cleanser or a wash off face mask. But once I rubbed it on my skin it began to lather up

As the texture is moist and slippery it feels very moisturizing on the skin. My skin felt unbelievably soft on touch. The cleanser really delivers what it promises. Keeping in mind this quality I have been using this in my night time routine to gently remove the sebum from the skin. The gentle tangerine scent feels so calming at night.

[Review] ONEOSEVEN Coreflex Essential Liquid

When I received this product I read up the features online to get a better understanding of the product because the word fluid sounded a little vague and foreign to me in skincare lingo. After a few minutes of Googling I learned that this is actually an essence but the spray nozzle mechanism totally caught me off guard. Because I have tried many essence but never in spray bottle packaging.

Features
The Coreflex Essential Liquid is an anti-aging glow essence that tends the skin with a bright shine. 90% rice ferment filtrate and natural vinegar ferment soothe the skin and improve skin tone and elasticity. The smooth and convenient spray type essence moisturize and vitalize the skin with anti-aging energy.

The packaging feels luxe. I love the white aesthetic with blue details on the bottle. The spray nozzle has really raised the bar up high because this is simply the best spray nozzle I have ever used. The mist is really fine . Finer than any other mist in my skincare stash

Ingredients: Aspergillus/Saccharomyces/Rice Ferment Filtrate, 1,3 Butylene Glycol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Butylene Glycol, Arbutin, Water, PEG/PPG-18/4 Copolymer, Pentylene Glycol, Vinegar, Adenosine, Lactobacillus/Soymilk Ferment Filtrate, PEG-60 Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Allantoin, Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Flower Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Fragrance

This also is exceptionally far more hydrating than any other mist product I have ever tried. Usually with mists I spray them several time a day to replenish the moisture that has evaporated but with this just one spritz alone gives so much moisture that you don't need to spray it again on your face. ( specially if its summer or you have oily skin) . The product sinks into the skin and keeps the skin soft for hours. This essence also has a mild floral scent personally I dont find the scent offending.

The most important part if this review is probably the question if this broke me out or not. Well I am so happy to type this down that my skin remained acne free after using this. It also made my oily skin behave ( less sebum production during the day). The essence is clear and intensely moisturizing and nourishing. If my oily skin loves this I am sure people with other skin type are going to enjoy this too
