Many countries around the world are experiencing record breaking high temperatures ( Europe Heatwave ) and Pakistan is no exception. The weather is extremely hot to a point that it quite difficult to layer too many skincare products. I have been doing my best to be consistent with my skincare routine. Since I ran out of a few skincare products that I shared in the previous skincare favorites post I picked some light weight formulas which work so well in hot humid weather
Every time I think of sweltering sunrays the first thing that comes to my mind is a sunscreen/sunblock . Purito Comfy Water Block is a really good light weight physical sunblock which hydrates and protects the skin from UV radiation moreover this leaves zero white cast. This is just perfect for heatwave
Its recommended to wear sunblock even when you are indoors as UV rays can be reflected through windows. Etude House Face Blur is one product that I reach out for the most when I am indoors. This subtly brightens complexion, blurs pores, reduces sebum production. I have worn this on its own on multiple occasions and believe me, this gives an illusion of really good skin . This also works so well under makeup as a primer/base
To keep my makeup last long and prevent sebum from making my face look greasy I have been reaching out for the this Elizavecca Skin liar primer a lot. This smooth out my base makeup, prevents creasing and keeps my makeup looks fresh and matte all day long
Speaking of sebum I must mention these great Jolse oil blotting sheets. These effectively remove all the sebum without smudging my makeup . Great for touch ups and a purse essential I must add
Missha All Over Perfume mist is another of my purse staples. I love the floral scent . This lasts for a decent amount of time and comes in various scents
Eye patches are a must if you are a late sleeper, Work for longer durations in front of computer/ laptop or just want to treat your under eyes in general. These Gaston Shooting Star Black eye patches not only are cute but very effective in minimizing dark circles and keeping the under eye area hydrated.
I don't like wearing thick serums/ampoules but this Onsaemeein anti redness ample has changed my perspective completely. This has a water like consistency and absorbs very quickly into the skin. Very hydrating plus this tones down redness and calms skin
Though I prefer cushions over foundations I am really enjoying this VDL perfecting last foundation. This has a very thin formula which adheres to the skin perfectly. I wear this on days when weather is very hot and I want something to last through excessive sweating without melting off. Though the foundation is full coverage I sometimes use The Saem cover perfection tip concealer to hide my acne of sometimes wear it over sunscreen on its own for a minimal makeup look
Asian Mascaras are hard to remove but this TonyMoly Inked Lasting Mascara removes easily and is really good at curling and volumizing eyelashes. Plus the packaging is so cute
