[Review] Innisfree Pore clearing clay mousse mask

I had the cult favourite Innisfree Volcanic Clay mask for the longest time on my wishlist but for some reason I always used to remove it from my cart at the checkout.  I found the mousse version of this mask by chance so I bought it immediately as birthday gift for myself

Packaging:

The packaging is what piqued my interest. This come in a aerosol can rather than a glass jar. The pump opening is quite wide and has a stopper to prevent the mask from drying.

Smooth  on this unique volcanic clay mask to instantly feel a cooling sensation as naturally absorbent Super Volcanic Clusters™ from Jeju Island, Korea help draw out excess oil—minimizing the look of pores. The airy mousse glides on cleanly and smoothly to help clear impurities from your pores.

With twice the excess sebum absorbing ability of the original, this light-as-air mousse mask glides on seamlessly and provides skin with instant cooling benefits. Innovative micro clay particles in the mask help deeply cleanse impurities and pollutants from the skin to deeply cleanse pores.

Texture:

The texture is exactly like a mousse. It is  fluffy , creamy and has a light grey color to it. There are minute clay particles running throughout the mousse. This has a typical clay smell. It is pleasant and not overwhelming.

Ingredients:

WATER, KAOLIN, TITANIUM DIOXIDE(CI 77891), VOLCANIC ASH, BUTYLENE GLYCOL, SILICA,ALCOHOL, POLYVINYL ALCOHOL, CYCLOPENTASILOXANE,STEARIC ACID, CELLULOSE, PALMITICACID, BENTONITE, CYCLOHEXASILOXANE, CETEARYLALCOHOL, ARGININE, SORBITAN STEARATE, JUGLANSREGIA (WALNUT) SHELL POWDER, PHENOXYETHANOL,IRON OXIDES (CI 77499), LACTIC ACID, ZEAMAYS (CORN) STARCH, MANNITOL, MICROCRYSTALLINECELLULOSE, SALIX ALBA (WILLOW) BARK EXTRACT,XANTHAN GUM, GLYCERIN, DISODIUM EDTA,ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, ARACHIDIC ACID, MYRISTICACID, CAMELLIA JAPONICA LEAF EXTRACT, CAMELLIASINENSIS LEAF EXTRACT, CITRUS UNSHIU PEELEXTRACT, OPUNTIA COCCINELLIFERA FRUIT EXTRACT,ORCHID EXTRACT

Application:

The airy mousse texture makes this very easy to apply. You can use your fingers, spatula or a brush. I personally use a spatula as it is less messy. The pump can sometime squirt out a cloud of product so I suggest using a light hand when pressing the button .

This takes time to dry down completely so you can easily manipulate it across the face. It is really good at absorbing sebum and grime from the face. I usually use this once a week to clear up congested pores and sebum buildup from my face. This can dry out the skin if you leave it on for longer duration. I usually wash this off after 20 mins and then follow it up with a toner /serum to restore the moisture

This instantly brightens the complexion. It can be a little difficult to rinse at times ( specially if you let the mask dry completely ) but it really clear out pores and even drys out acne. This is what I reach out for the most when my skin is very oily, and breaking out a lot in humid weather.

For 15$  This is quite a steal as you get 100ml of product in mousse formula.

[Review] Innisfree 3-minute Green Tea Skin Pack

I have seem people do DIY toner packs on daily basis. Its convenient and very effective. I was scrolling through Jolse Catalogue when this 3 mins pack from Innisfree caught my attention.

Now I have been going through a very busy routine and my skin often gets neglected. So this looked like a perfect quick fix for my moisture deprived skin

Description:

A skin pack which provides the combined benefits of skin moisturisation, smoothening, and cooling.
This S.O.S. morning pack is excellent for quick yet effective moisture replenishment and to prep your skin for your makeup.

The Tencel sheets soaked in fresh green tea water adheres to skin perfectly, and it is infused with 2% panthenol to strengthen skin barrier, as well as relieving tightened skin.

The packaging is somewhat slim, green tub with a white lid. It also comes with a pair of transparent tweezers. I didn't remove the seal completely because it helps the pads from drying up fast. Though the pads are completely soaked in essence I just wanted to take a precautionary step.

A single tub contains 100 round sheets. The sheets are very thin and soft so its best to double check. As tweezers can pull multiple sheets at a time. To me the diameter of the sheet looks big enough to cover the whole cheek. I like to use these in the morning when I am Ironing my clothes for work. That way I multi-task at a very short time

These pads are scented. Its says green tea on the packaging but to me the scent feels a bit artificial. Still its a nice scent and not too strong.

I have oily /dehydrated skin that is breaking out at the moment. These 3 mins mask pack not only soothed my skin but also regulated moisture and sebum balance of my skin
The pads remain moist even after 3 mins of use. Personally I am enjoying these a lot. They add a nice layer of hydration to my skin. Make my skin look fresh and plump and help with oil control. I will buy these again. To me these have now become an essential part of my morning skincare routine

You can buy these Innisfree 3-minute Green Tea Skin Pack at Jolse.com

Innisfree Capsule Recipe mask Seaweed Review

I contemplated placing this mask in my shopping cart a million times and finally bought it,

Product Description:
A capsule recipe pack containing Sea Weed to improve your complexion. It heats your skin naturally with the Sea Weed. It exfoliates dead skin cells for clear skin. It is enriched with sizzling formation which provides skin solutions. It is a massage pack which contains Sea Weed to heat and exfoliate your skin.

Quantity: 10ml ( good enough to be used 5-7 times)

Packaging:
Comes in this cute little small tub which has a foil on top as protective seal.the best part is the plastic cover on top this prevents the product from drying out and helps it to store in fridge for later use. I placed mine in a zip lock bag for extra care.

Prior to this I haven't used any skincare product containing seaweed. So I was super curious about the texture and the results I was going to obtain.

This has a really gloopy green jelly or maybe Ogre boogers :) like texture with minute particles for scrubbing.
I used a spatula to apply this to my face but you can definitely use your fingers ( what suits you best ).

The mask applied a little evenly (think and thin at some places so I used my fingers to spread it out. It heats up a little bit on application which trust me feels so good in winter ☺. This feels like glycerin a lot and my suspicion was correct because glycerin is #1 ingredient on the list

I left this on for about 20 minutes and then washed it off using circular motion with warm water.

Results:
Smooth soft skin did this brighten my complexion?? No really but this feels so  soothing on the skin. I enjoyed the whole experience and would  purchase this again.
I am very curious about other variants in the range. Have you tried any of these capsule masks? What are your thoughts ?

[Review] Innisfree No Sebum Mineral Powder

Ever since I have started following Korean makeup trends. My craze off having super matte skin has finally died down. Now I look for formulas which can help me achieve that subtle glow.
still that does not means that I don't use powder makeup products
I purchases this cult favorite loose powder by Innisfree called the No Sebum powder X Emoji edition ( its a limited edition)
ABOUT THE PACKAGING
As you can already see the packaging is super adorable. There are a lot of options I choose the blushing emoji. The container is sturdy and is small m it contains about 5gm of powder which initially looks quite less but trust me I have been using this for months and its still looks barely used at all. There is a cute yellow puff included with it m inside the is a plastic guard with small square holes punched to allow small amount of powder to come through
ABOUT THE PRODUCT
I love how finely milled this powder is. It has a faint very refreshing mint scent which lingers for few minutes. This product does not leave a white cast what so ever on the face but be warned that it flashes back on flash photography
I like to dust this all over my fave during summer time because that's when my T-zone produces the oil most and thanks to super humid and hot summers that we get in Pakistan I set my makeup with this to prevent it from melting and smudging.
in winters I like to dust this only on my nose and forehead for that soft matte look.
I can clearly see why this powder is popular all over Asian beauty community. This powder is affordable and easily available at many reputable online stores.
there are a lot of fake look alike copies of this powder circulating on internet and stores so be careful before making a purchase

I purchase mine from the skin maskeurade

I have used this product for almost a months and soon I will be sharing my thoughts on this powder so if you are curious keep watching this space.

Next up is also a cult favourite product the Misha M Magic Cushion in shade #21. My first ever cushion foundation. I have used this only once and so far I am totally amazed by the finish it provides .i will continue to use this product for some time and then give your guys my honest opinion
I loved watching a Korean drama featuring Ji Chang Wook and Yoona called The K2 and that's how i was  first introduced to this cute wine lip tint by chateau labiotte after scanning many online stores and reading numerous reviews I finally saw the minis on beauty joint for 3.25 $ and that when I added this to my cart. The tube is so tiny and so cute  😍
Its skin is one of the lesser known Korean brand which makes a lot of great products. I have sallow skin so decided to invest in a color correcting base to neutralize my skin tone. Cute isn't it??
