Maybelline baby lips in berry crush

Lip balms are a staple in every women's purse  even if  you wear minimal makeup I am sure you own a lip balm. For me Lip balm remains a product that is constantly repurchased through out the year.

Not all Lip balms are made equal . Some provide hydration , some provide color , some have both hydration and pigment and then there are some meh lip balms that have fancy price tag and cute to look at packaging but the lip balm inside is something that makes you look more chapped and dry like dry prunes

Maybelline baby lip balm has been making popularity rounds in the beauty blogging world for some time now. It has been getting both rare-views and hate-views too.  So when I ran out of lip balm I decided to plunge into the deep waters and purchase this lip balm
The packaging is cute  2$ or 249 PKr

Packaging:

The packaging is cute and quite eye-catching I must admit. The tube is a small enough to be grown into a small clutch or purse. The cap is secure . This lip Balm has a twist up mechanism so this makes it hygienic. I absolutely hate those products where you have to dip your fingers in .

About the product:

This smells like berries, the scent is so delicious. Now as you can see this looks os vibrant and red in the tube but on application it imparts  a sheer wash of color which Is not too much buildable on multiple swipes. There are specks of gold glitter in this lip balm  but don't panic they are too small to be visible or feel gritty on the lips.  it  applies evenly on the lips and after hrs( without drinking and eating) it disappears leaving the lips smooth and moisturized. One of the best part in my opinion is that this Lipbalm has spf 20 so not does it makes the lips soft it also protects them form the damaging  rays

Beware guys there are a lot fakes circulating online and in the market so make sure you are safe from the counterfeit products as they can pose hazard to your skin

Haul post

salam

I have been a smart shopper lately so every time I go out I think twice when purchasing something. And I am happy to report that for the past couple of months I haven't bought any makeup/skincare item on a whim.

Since I am a contact lens user I switched from optiplus contact lens cleaner to Renu contact lens cleaning solution lets see how this works for both my eyes and contact lens
After trying out the bioderma sensibio h2o micellar water I have been quite curious about the performance of garnier micellar water so I bought a small bottle of it to test out. I will post a detailed review on it soon also I might do a comparison post on the two.
Moving on I bought another cleanser from the skin maskeurade exhibition. First impressions: This smells so good . I also got some samples so lets see if I like them or not

I also purchased Maybelline baby lips lip balm a staple for every purse. And since summer is here I picked out a fun green colored nail enamel . And a pen eyeliner. Some nail enamel removing pads and the color changing lip oil. Rhinestone Bobby pins and a garnier sample size face wash that I got with a purchase of a hair dye .
That's all guys. Are you a smart shopper or do you purchase things on a whim. Do let me know in comments section down below

My current skincare 2017

Hello
The holy month of Ramadan is almost here and I am so excited 😃. Even though it has been over a month since i got measles my skin has not come back to its normal pattern. So my there has been some major changes skincare routine to deal with the dry flaky skin.

Before I share the products with you guys here is a request. If you haven't got measles as of yet please get vaccinated because trust me adult measles are more severe than childhood measles. The disease is very exhausting and takes a very long time to recover. The sign and symptoms are severe and more pronounced. And the measles scar take a long time to disappear so just save your self from all the trouble and get vaccinated. As vaccination gives life long protection
Ok back to the original post. I will start of with cleanser first. My skin is normally oily. So I use cleanser which reduce oil production and combat acne but as my skin is now very dry I have switched to a hydrating cleanser by nature republic. Now this is basically a cleanser to remove makeup but honestly jt was not doing a good job at removing makeup so now I use this as a face wash. This aloe cleanser leaves the skin soft and moisturized.

Moving on to makeup removers i like to switch between bioderma sensibio H2O micellar water and the Garnier micellar water. Both are gentle on the skin and remove makeup without much effort.
To achieve smooth, flake free skin I use a very mild and gentle green tea scrub by ST.Ives. This is has such fine round granules which are non abrasive and very gentle on the skin. Plus the exfoliate the skin quite thoroughly.
For moisturizer I like to use oriflame tea tree moisturizer during day time and at night I use some thing more hydrating so stelatopia cream by mustella is my choice. Both moisturize the skin well without leaving an oily film.

Even though my skin is dry I like to wear a mud mask once every week, currently i am using the one by freemans ( oatmeal and avocado version)

I like to spritz my face with rose water during the day. This makes my face look dewy and fresh.
Lastly I am enjoying the scent of Maybelline baby lips lip balm in berry crush. This unfortunately doesn't leave a tint on the lips but does keeps my lips soft and smooth
That's all for my current routine. Would you recommend any skincare product I should try out?

My summer essentials

Girls summer is on and the sun is blazing in its full glory. Summer is all about watermelon, peaches plum mangoes yummy!!  And of course the power outage which keep our sweat glands functional. And then can how can I forget the darling mosquitoes who sing sweet lullaby all night long and bite us to death

I thought about sharing my summer essentials for this year

MAKEUP:

It’s impossible for me to wear foundation in summer when I know all of my makeup is going to run down my face mixed with sweat
So I keep it simple by applying a thin layer of pressed powder the one I am using currently is by Maybelline read the review here

For lipstick I opt for a nude lip gloss or sometimes coral lipstick or a lip balm

For blusher: a coral blusher is my choice

I like to use a pop of color on my lids colossal kajal by Maybelline in turquoise is what I use

Scent:

I like to use this deodorant by fa. it has a very feminine scent and has a long lasting power also I does not stains the clothes

For skin care:

I like to use this peel off cucumber mask by freeman. So refreshing

For my nails

I find these nail paints quite bright and summer-y

That’s all!!  what are your summer essentials tell me in the comment box below

Price: 500 pkr

Packaging:

It’s a chubby crayon like balm sticks with a plastic covering and a silver twisting part. Very travel friendly

The product

It has a very moisturizing smooth texture that hydrates the lips and gives them color at the same time. This lip stain has a slight minty scent which is so refreshing. Although it looks nude colored It gives a brownish pink color to the lips
This last on my lips for 4hrs

I find this balm stick a perfect choice when you are on a go because of its easy application

One negative thing about this balm stick is its  cannot tolerate heat/temperature it melts, so if you live somewhere warm or its summer you might have to store it in a refrigerator

You might like it

I rate this balm stick 4.5 out of 5

Essence glossy lip balm in cherry brownie

I love winters I really do, it may feel dull and boring for some but for me winters means snuggling in warm quilts and blankets, munching a lot of delicious dry fruits. Sipping Ovaltine from a mug not to mention the  Pink flushed  cheeks and  red nose from the cold  but one thing which sours the mood a little is chapped dry lips ugh hate them

And that my friend is the reason lip balms were created.

Essence cosmetics has a wide range of sweet yummylicious scented lip balms, this one in cherry brownies smelled heavenly to me

Quantity: 8ml

Price: 230 Pkr

Packaging:

It’s a cute small red squeeze tube with a nozzle like end

About the product

It’s quite moisturizing and has no glitter specks in it
Gives a light red tint to my lips while smoothing and hydrating them at the same time
The formula is not too sticky or oily it’s more like a gloss
I like to keep this in my college bag for everyday use it’s a good product to try out . you can  either use it alone or top it on a lipstick for some glossy effect

You might like this:

If you like tinted lipbalms

My ratings

I rate this product 4.5 out 5
