Makeup pencils review by Sweet Touch, Manhattan , Christine

i had a lot of pencils in makeup stash that i felt were good enough to be reviewed  so here it is a picture heavy makeup pencils review

sorry for not wiping my pencils before taking pictures, but hey i was trying to add reality to the blog post. lets be honest , our makeup pencils do look like this after use? right ? yes ?no?

i have three lip/eyeliner pencils from Christine local brand one from Manhattan , one lipliner from sweet touch and black eyeliner also from Sweet touch

the first one is a pink liner by Sweet touch  its called mars i believe, the shade is a everyday pink color, very pigmented only negative point is that the pencil is a bit hard and sometimes drags on the lips, i apply it underneath my lipstick to make the lipstick last longer

the second pencil is by Manhattan cosmetics i use this to liner the lower rim of my eyes, it makes me look awake and gives a larger appearance to the eyes, the color of this eyeliner is a nude  gray, very pigmented and very soft , does not irritated the eyes at all , moreover it does not has any scent

the third pencil is an eyeliner by sweet touch, i really love this eyeliner, its very soft and gentle on the yes and very pigmented, i didnt tried it on my water line as i dont like to wear dark colors on my lower lash line
it is water proof so once its set , it does not smudge through out the day

these pencils are by christine, these are very soft and pigmented but they dont stay for  long on  water line or the lid, smudge easily and disappear after 2hrs, i like to use these a base underneath my eyeshadow

priced at about 20-60 pkr these are great for trying out various makeup looks

Life Update post 04: makeup organization haul shopping …….

Hello.

I am so excited about the holy month of Ramadan, love all the parts of the holy month ranging from sehri to aftar and long taraweeh nights ,  and then finally shopping for Eid

I hauled a few items , tried out the timotei shampoo on a recommendation of a beauty blogger . I will admit it. This shampoo smells amazing and leaves my hair soft and shiny too

Nivea is a household name so I clearly don’t need to elaborate more about the cream except for the fact that I found a mini size jar and thought it would be very handy to throw it my college bag 

I also purchased another product from the brand oriflame and this time it’s a skin lotion I will be posting a review on this lotion soon 

Can’t get enough of Mua intense kisses lipgloss so just went ahead and ordered my third shade from the range this one is called kiss and makeup

I am running low on my current foundation so bought essence foundation in advance( review already lined up to be posted }. Purchased dip eyeliner on a whim because everyone was raving about it, so far so good

I went shopping with my friends a few days back and came across a lot of local brands who have wide range of makeup products in every color

Picked out some random nail colors

Purchased these Christine eyeliner/lipliners for RS 60 /- each , man they are so soft and pigmented

I don’t have much interest in cooking or baking but these kitchen related stuff looked so cute that I had to take a picture

my year 2015 favorites

Makeup

Face

I enjoyed using the the matte effect foundation by Makeup Revolution all year due to the natural coverage it provided and the light formula

I also liked the pro base primer by MUA

Marshmallowby MUA  still remains my favorite blush this year

Lips

This year I embraced the nude lips trend. most of the lipsticks I purchased were either mlbb or nude shade

My favorite liplner has to be by essence as it can be worn alone or under any lipstick/ lipgloss (read review here)

For lipsticks in the flesh by wet n wild, treat by makeup revolution and rendezvousby MUA were the most worn lipsticks

Eyes

 the heaven and earth palette by MUA was the best eyeshadow palette i tried this year.when it comes to my oily lids eyeshadow pencil by jordana was the perfect choice

the i love extreme volume mascara by essence still remains to be my fav mascara this year 

circle lens 

i reviewed a lot of circle lens in year 2015, it was fun trying them 

i was very hard to decide which one was my favorite as all are vibrant and very comfortable however i particularly liked the review choco circle lens for every day wear and t top lens in ice blue for formal occassions

Essence kajal pencil in Teddy 08 and lipliner In the nude 11

When going for a natural makeup look black eyeliner can look harsh sometimes so using brown eyeliner is a good option. I have very sensitive eyes and eyelids as Essence manufactures dermatological tested makeup so for me this brand is best

I like my lip liner to be soft and creamy so when I saw this gorgeous nude lip liner by essence I decided to try it

Packaging: both pencils are just like a regular pencil and have a silver plastic cap on it. 

About the kajal pencil in teddy 08

the shade i chose is teddy (08) I expected it to be a matte brown color but imagine my surprise when I swatched it on my hand it was metallic copper-brown shade

This pencil is neither water proof nor smudge proof but it does not stings the eyes when applied on the waterline. It does not transfer on the upper part of my eyelids when I open my eyes so that’s a positive point

This pencil I feel can be used as an eye shadow (in the crease)

This is super creamy and does not drags on the lip the color is such a gorgeous nude pink- brown color that sometimes I like to wear it alone
