I tried the PHA cream from Cosrx several years ago and liked the texture even though the scent was a bit like old rags. So when I learned about this mild acidic cream from Wishtrend I wanted to give it a try. This is my first time dipping the toes in the Wishtrend water . I had the Klairs BB Cream from it's sister brand on wishlist for quite some time now but the price tag always made me rethink of my purchase
The Acid-Duo Hibiscus Cream is a light cream type exfoliant that you may use on a daily basis. It consists of LHA and PHA which has exceptional exfoliating capabilities but are known to be less irritating and perfect for sensitive skin. It not only improves clogged pores and sebum, but it can also help minimize pigmentation and help with a dull complexion. As the main ingredient, it consists of 63% Hibiscus Flower Extract that are rich in antioxidants and help support the effectiveness of LHA and PHA.

The packaging comes in a very attractive pink and white combination. It is bright yet simple. Though this is advertised as a cream the texture is more like a lotion. It is very flowy . The color is a beautiful water melon pink. You can also detect a hint of that woody smell that comes off from acids. But it is not unbearable or strong
I have been using this cream in combination with the Bellflower Hibiscus serum. The duo provides adequate hydration to my skin . One of my ultimate favourite 10% glycolic acid cream from Nakeup face had a thick suffocating texture but boy it used to remove all the dead cells overnight and give me smooth soft skin in the morning. This cream on the other hand is pretty gentle so initially you won't notice much of a difference other than just hydration but with continuous use you are going to notice change in texture along with fading of PIH
The gel like consistency is pretty cool as well. It works so well in hot humid weather . Creams are a big no no for me in hot humid weather but this one working surprisingly well for me
