[Review] The Skin House Black Snail Bubble Mask

I love bubble masks because they do such a great job of clearing congested skin. I have tried a few from various brands and really enjoyed the fun experience. Today's review is on a ''The Skin House Black Snail Bubble Mask'' which contains snail slime for moisture. If you have been following my blog for a while you must have been immune of snail secreations by now because I am a big fan of snail slime.

*Pore control & Sebum adsorption. It is dark gel bubble mask and contains charcoal extract. The strong adsorption capacity of charcoal extract to purify the skin waste. The Bubble penetrates into the pores that help to clean the pores and cleansing at a time. Continuous bubbling action removes dead skin cells and impurities in the pores that make skin clean.

 Starting with the packaging, the product is enclosed in a standard black airless pump bottle. The nozzle  is good and the pump works fine. The product itself has a black thick viscous gel/honey like texture . Once you spread the gel it starts to bubble up immediately. The micro bubbles are dense and grayish white in color. They last on the face for quite sometime.  Sometimes the skin can feel a little tingly because of the bubbles but its not an unpleasant feeling.

Directions
*Use on dry face

1. Apply an adequate amount of the black snail bubble mask over the whole face without eye area.
2. Wait to occur bubbles naturally about 3-5 minutes.
3. Gently massage with finger tips for 30 seconds in a clockwise direction.
4. Rinse off with cold water. (Recommend the Marine items after Black sugar bubble mask)

It took about two pumps of product to cover my whole face. After leaving the mask on for 5 mins as directed I washed my face with luke warm water. The mask lathered more when in contact with water

Here is what I noticed post usage. My skin looked clean and felt soft. My pores were noticeably less prominent. The mask dried up a few baby zits quite nicely. Overall I really enjoyed this mask and will use this quite frequently in summer season as it clears up sebum, unclogs pores and makes my skin feel soft at the same time. This is great travel friendly product because of the pump packaging. It also makes noticeable difference in the appearance of pores. And its also a fun effective product that you can enjoy with your friends and family.

THE SKIN HOUSE Vital Bright Serum Review

I have lost count of all the serums and essence I have tried but none of them have such a unique and satisfying gel like consistency like this one by The Skin House.

The SkinHouse is a cosmetics brand functional since 1979 and has a lot of skincare and makeup products ( like bb cream and sunscreen ) in its inventory. They have products to brighten complexion, take care of wrinkles , for pore care, hydration and a separate line of skincare dedicated to men

Today I am reviewing Brightening serum by the brand.

Starting with the packaging. This is a partially frosted beautiful ombre glass bottle which has pipette dropper mechanism to dispense the product.I took photographs of this particular product in sunlight because I wanted everyone to witness the true beauty of its packaging.

Description

The viscous transparent gel type serum contains moisture particles and pearl condensed granule. If you pop the pearl and roll, the pearl will be absorbed softly and make the skin bright. It is a essence which contains the whitening function ingredient so it does not only brighten the skin tone, but also the granule in the serum will make skin moist. Also, It is absorbed fast and gives the fresh feeling.

How to use?

1. After cleansing, use toner to smooth the skin texture.
2. Apply enough serum to the face, and let it be absorbed deeply into skin

The gel like consistency feels cooling on the skin. If one looks carefully at the gel, you can spot small silver capsules which on rubbing release pearl extract for brightening.

Personally I really like the gel texture. Its surprising a lot more hydrating than lets say aloe gel. It takes a few minutes to absorb completely and makes the skin feel soft without any tacky residual feel. The scent is a bit strong ( smells very citrusy) but it disappears after few minutes to a point that you can barely smell it. Due to its gel like consistency the pipette does not fill completely but since its very hydrating you don't need a full pipette anyway.

I find this product suitable for all skin types. Its hydrating and brightening ( results become appart after multiple uses) the gel works with dry and oily skin. Its soothing and hydrating at the same time.
