[Review] Skin guardian 3 step total face mask

One of the disappointing masks i have tried out in a while are these Secret A skin guardian sheet masks . Everything about these masks other than ampoule is disappointing. Don't get me wrong these masks provide good hydration and make the skin moisturizer but I didn't notice the brightening effect 😔

I started out with the Vita whitening 3 step total face mask .

Step 1: is an O2 bubble cleanser now as the name suggests it a bubble cleanser I hoped that this would lather up nicely with lot of bubbles but unfortunately it didn't. No lather no bubbles . I did clean my face and remove sebum but the bubble part was missing one of the things i noticed was that this didn't had any scent at all which is quite new for Korean skincare.


Step 2 : Ampoule. This was Like water so so light and just absorbs into the skin within seconds . I would definitely buy the full size version of this ampoule . The product in the foil was good enough to be used twice


Step 3: Sheet mask.
This was generously soaked in serum so when I took it out there was some serum left in the packet.I placed the mask on my face and tried to wait for the serum to work its magic but then I noticed that the serum felt heavy and very suffocating on my skin. I began to feel a little itchy on the sides of my face and it felt so uncomfortable that I had to remove the mask after 15 minutes. My skin didn't look bright or white. It just looked irritated
I washes my face twice with cold water to calm it down


Wrinkle 3 step total facial mask

I gave this one to my mom to try since this is targeted for mature skin. She had the same review on the cleanser and the lack of bubbles. She liked the ampoule though . For her the amount was enough to apply on her face and her neck. The sheet mask thankful didn't gave her any bad reaction.  She applied it to her face for 15 minutes (precautionary measure) . She said it made her skin hydrated but not much brightening was noticed. The serum on this was not heavy it was light and absorbed into the skin after a couple of pats

Aqua 3 step total face mask

I tried out this mask and found it a bit better than the brightening version. The serum on this felt exactly like the ampoule it absorbed into the skin though there was a slightly tacky residue left on the skin after removal of mask. My skin felt soft and hydrated I didn't notice much brightening but the chok chok skin felt nice. The ampolue was nice it had adequate product to be used twice m the cleanser didn't lather up but it left my skin squeaky clean

Collagen 3 step total face mask

you should know by now that none of the 4 variants masks have a cleanser that bubbles up . This mask is still in my collection waiting to be used up so I might try this one when I am free 😊





All in one I think these masks are a miss for me as I prefer masks which brighten skin

[Review] Our happy box

Sometime ago i was sent a box full of skincare products by Team  our happy box To try. they are the authorized sellers of  Ryor a Czech republic skincare brand. As there are a lot of products to review I have decided to split the post into two parts so that I can give a thorough review of each and every product that was sent to me.

Ryor lavender soothing serum for enlarged pores

Quantity : 50ml


This comes in a vacuum pump container which is very hygienic. Since I have large pores (size of craters to be exact) I was very excited to try out this product with hopes if my pores could look better after using this product.
This product has a very water like consistency its thin,light weight and runny so once applied onto the skin it absorbs fast. I have been wearing this for two weeks straight and so far my pores have not reduced dramatically but they sort of look less noticeable. This serum is a good moisturizer for oily skin. It has a faint lavender scent which disappears on application

I have been using this under my foundation for some time now and I am happy with the hydration it provides . Its great all year round moisturizer specially for monsoon seasons when there is too much moisture in the air and it feels suffocating to apply creams, lotions onto the face
So far no skin reaction or breakout.

Ryor Duo active cream spf 15 targeted skin

The packaging is same as the Ryor serum but the cream has a very sweet scent which is so soothing. This cream has spf 15 so its suitable to wear when you are indoors ot if you want to layer it on top of a sunscreen. The texture is rich but not too thick. This absorbs into the skin leaving the skin smooth. I didn't notice any white cast this cream is suitable for dry to combination skin. I did wore this on my face for two days but I have realized that this can be a little too heavy for oily skin gals. I think my skin is going to live this more in winter season when my skin is dry and patchy. So you know spf prevent pre mature aging, wrinkles and spots.

Ryor Eye gel


Quantity:30 ml

For an eye gel this product has generous amount of gel in it. This contains aloe and green tea extracts great ingredients for soothing and healing skin.
This eyegel comes in a squeezable tube. This product inside is a slightly yellow water based gel which has no scent . It reminds me so much of aloe gel. This gels spreads quite easily onto the skin and absorbs real quick to. Even though its an eyegel I feels line this can be used all over the face. (That's what I did) it calms down redness and helps to heal scars.

[Review] Skinfactory skincare and lip tattoo

Skinfactory is korean brand which makes interesting skincare products . There PR team was kind enough to send me a few products to try recently. today I will be reviewing Some of the products from my pr package



SKIN FACTORY TATTOO LIP ESSENCE in Sweet Pink

Quantity: 15 ml
You must have heard of mood lip glosses. The one which change color on application. Well this is lip product is something like that its clear and transparent and on application it slowly turns pink and eventually a bright fuchsia colour.This is fool proof all in one lip product which  acts a lip condition, lip gloss and lipstick. The packaging is just like a regular lip gloss so it makes the application easier. Pretty good if you are a  beginner and just starting with makeup . What I love about this product is that it has a sweet raspberry candy scent. It imparts color and moisture to the lips. Even when the glossy effect vanishes after a few hours (2 hrs to be more precise) there is a beautiful pink tint left behind on the lips

Skin factory morning recipe mask

Masks which come with exfoliating pads and multiple steps are my favourite because they just simplify the while skincare routine and are very handy to carry around. When you are on a move. This skin factory morning recipe mask is amazing. It has 3.steps to follow




Step 1:  I  massaged my face for 1 min with the light pink cleanser which smells amazing btw. There is adequate amount of product. (enough to be used twice at least for my face)


Step 2: I moved onto the cleansing pad. One side is smooth while other is rough and dotted for exfoliation I usually exfoliate my face at night so this was entirely new for me and I totally enjoyed this. Made my makeup application so smooth afterwards.the fibers of the pad are gentle but firm so they provide thorough exfoliation. You can just slip your fingers in the mitts and rub your face gently in Circular motion.
Remove so much dead skin that I was embarrassed to realized how badly my skin needed exfoliation


 step 3 : Finally onto the moisturizing part. The sherbet ice cream, I was a bit sceptic about wearing this as my skin breaks out quite easily but luckily no reaction or pimples so far . Its cooling and powder blue in color. It spreads easily and absorbs fast.

 I totally love the concept of this 3 step morning recipe mask.  I think this is perfect for travelling , camping . Would totally repurchase




 Skin factory night routine

This is just like the Skin factory morning recipe mask the only difference being that this make has only two steps rather than three
Step 1: The exfoliating pad is just similar to the morning recipe mask. I really enjoyed the smooth and calming skin massage / exfoliation I got after using this.
Step 2: The ampoule was nice. It sank in quite easily and made my skin feels soft . No greasy oil after feel

[Review] Alive Lab pocket cushion concealer

I love cushion foundations.the finish they provide is way more better than a regular foundation . So when I saw this cute pocket cushion concealer on the alive lab website I wanted to try this out

Packaging: This vial glass is fragile one must be very careful as a single fall is going to be fatal. The silver cap is very secure and prevents the product from leaking out . Unlike what the name suggests this does not have a cushion applicator in fact there is metallic roller ball applicator which distributes the concealer. This concealer is small and perfect to carry around but do mind the glass packaging

About the product

What the brand has to say about this product:
It adheres to the skin through the ball, and produces natural skin by blending with base makeup cosmetics.
 It is easy to cover the lines of your lips quickly and refresh your makeup.

My thoughts:

Firstly shake the vial before uses that way the concealer comes out homogenised.

This concealer is a pink toned  which has a very runny moisturizing texture. It blends so easily onto the skin and gives  sheer to slightly medium coverage. From what I have deduced this is designed to conceal lips for the gradient lip effect or for touch ups on the go. On its own when applied to bare skin this evens out skin tone.  This is definitely a good option to refresh makeup during the day. The cute little vial is very handy and easy to use. This just blurs out the scars and blemishes Slightly  so you do need a full coverage concealer to hide blemishes and scars

For my fair skin the color is a perfect match
I applied this on my lips for the gradient effect and loved how it slightly masked my natural lip color without settling into the fines lines. It didn't dry out my lips and made the lipstick application streak free
I really like the concept of this product and am so happy with the results

[Review] Alive Lab Centella dressing foam

Alive lab is a Korea skincare brand popular for their ice cream skincare line. They have very unique skincare products with interesting ingredient list. One that particularly piked my curiosity was centella blemish powder. A product which can be mixed with any cream and applied directly onto the problematic areas of face They were kind enough to send me a few products to try out today I will be reviewing centella dressing foam a mild cleanser which effectively reduces oil from the face and calms down any skin irritation or redness. it also effective in reducing skin aging and acne

About the product
This face cleanser smells of herbs some which I don't mind as the scent does not linger for longer duration and is mild

This cleanser is white in color and foams when massage onto the skin. The bubbles are mild nothing too crazy. Overall it feels nice on the skin. It does such a nice job in calming my skin and reducing redness. It does not dry out the skin nor does it makes it too oily. My skin feels soft and refreshed. I have been using this for two weeks and I am so happy to report that my skin looks so much better. This has helped with the acne flare ups that i experience during monsoon.
This is a nice cleanser which improves skin texture with regular use. Definitely one of the best face cleansers I have used in a while
