[Review] Celimax Derma Nature BFT Moisturizing Liposome Serum

I was sorting my stash a few weeks ago . When I found this serum stowed in a corner of my cabinet all dusty. Surprised  by my discovery I opened the sealed and placed on my vanity for testing. And that is how I came across such a summer friendly serum

This is probably the most under rated skincare product from Celimax. Though I totally swear by the hydration and effectiveness of the noni ampoule. I am very impressed by this serum from Celimax

Features
Azulene and biomimetic tear water comfort the sensitive skin without stimulation.
The gentle purple tint of the serum comes from azulene, which is naturally purple.
The moisturizing ingredients of the highly concentrated serum fill the skin with ample moisture.

Azulene is a compound extracted from chamomile it is popular for calming skin and  reducing inflammation . I will admit that I had to look the biomimetic tears online because I wasn't sure what it meant and from what I have learned it like artificial tears . That protects and moisture the skin.

The brand reflects the minimal skincare ideology through its packaging. This has a standard glass dropper and the frosted glass bottle feels solid .

The serum is feels gloopy. It is very viscous but as soon as it is applied to the skin it turns water like and absorbs easily into the skin . I have been using this for a few weeks now. This is perfect for the current hot humid weather. It feels cooling on the skin. It adds a layer of hydration and calms down redness. Moreover it also works really well under makeup.

I would definitely recommend this light weight serum to anyone who lives in the tropics, likes minimal skincare and is searching for a basic skincare priduct which gradually improves skin

[ Review ] Celimax Derma Nature Broccoli Spot Brightening Lip & Eye Remover

Hello, I am back with another Celimax Review this time it is the Derma Nature Broccoli Spot Brightening Lip & Eye Remover. I have been using this for a few months now.

This is a biphasic makeup remover with the ration of 8:2 ( 80% micellar water and 20% Cleansing oil ) . You are required to shake the bottle prior to use this way the two layers are temporarily mixed .

My Opinion:

This smells good. Most of the times makeup removers are scent free but this has a nice fresh scent. Moreover it doesn't sting the eyes or cause irritation. I usually soak a cotton pad with this water and it is enough to wipe makeup from both of my eyes.

One of the problems I have faced with makeup removers is that I end up losing tons of eyelashes when removing stubborn waterproof eye makeup. My thin sparse  eyelashes are the proof to my claim. But this remover prevents loss of eyelashes.

 This is actually a really strong eye makeup remover. I removes 85% off the waterproof makeup in one swipe. You don't have to go over the same spot again and again. I usually place a soaked cotton pad on the eye for 10-15 secs and this totally dissolves the makeup . So when I swipe the cotton pad over my eyes. All the mascara + waterproof eyeliner comes off easily. The oil part also conditions the lashes at the same time and keeps them soft.  You just need a gentle cleanser and water and Viola your eyes looks clean

[Review] Celimax The Real Noni Energy Ampule

I was really interested to try this ampoule from Celimax because everyone Korean beauty youtuber was raving about this magical product. I have heard Noni mentioned several times as a super food but not many brands incorporated this as a skincare ingredient

So Celimax is a really affordable skincare brand . They have a fair amount of popular skincare products under their belt like the Blackheads Cleansing Oil , Jiwoohae BHA peeling pads . And Now The Real Noni Energy Ampule

What makes this ampoule stand out is the fact that this contains 71.77% Noni extract. It is anti inflammatory so it soothes and moisturizes the skin

The packaging is simple and convenient. A frosted plastic bottle which has an auto fill mechanism. I am particularly thrilled about the plastic aspect of the packaging as I have butterfingers. The dropper is made of glass though. I also like how this closes with a very satisfying click

The ampoule has a very unique fresh green color. It also has this nice cool herb scent ( I can't really put my finger on it but the scent is somewhat familiar. The ample itself feels very hydrating and rich but surprisingly it does not leave a tacky/ greasy residue on the skin. It plumps the skin and keeps it fresh and hydrated for many hours. This totally lives upto the hype and I will be stocking up on more of these as soon as this ampoule goes up on Sale again at Jolse

[Review] Celimax Skin Repair Bee Tox Therapy

I will be honest I already knew a lot about this mask before trying it so naturally my expectations were quite high. I was really excited to try a mask which contained a combination of bee venom and 5% AHA

The mask functions on the basis of a very interesting concept . Bee venom call contains a toxin called melittin which fools the skin to generate more collagen and elastin to repair skin. Apart from Bee venom it also contains citric acid and propolis

The packaging is very luxurious. It looks high end and expensive. The sheet is thin and has almost skin like tinge to it. The serum on the other hand is slightly straw colored and has gel like viscosity. I could also detect a bit of mild scent to it.  The fit is just perfect it adheres so well to the skin. Though the serum is gel like its actually very sticky. I could feel a bit of stinging/tingling sensation on my skin.

I wore this for approximately 25mins . My skin felt sticky so I proceeded to wash my face with water so I could get rid of tacky residue. My skin looked bright. Even my hands looked better ( I applied the extra serum on my hands). The next morning my skin was glowing, it felt smooth, plump and bright. I am very impressed with this mask. For me this is definitely one of those special occasion masks when I am short on time and want to look my best

[Review] Celimax Jiwoogae Heartleaf BHA Peeling Pad

When I first looked at the packaging online I thought that it was a cute bread printed on the box. I was so embarrassed when I learned that it was an Eraser. In Korean Jiwoogae means Eraser

Celimax Jiwoogae Heartleaf BHA Peeling Pad is a multi purpose product . It works as a toner, skin exfoliating step and also as a cleanser

Features
Eliminates dead skin cells smoothly without stimulating the skin excessively.
Cares skin wastes and sebum in the pores, soothing various skin troubles.
Mild hyaluronic acid toner smears quickly into the skin and moisturizes the skin.

The packaging is simple. A pastel purple lid with a translucent tub. These are two sided peeling pads. One side has an embossed texture while the other side has gauze texture. The embossed side is designed for the whole face as its soft and feels gentle on the skin while the gauze side is for areas like nose and chin which require more attention and have a lot of dead cells + sebum build up. You get  60 pads soaked in 125ml of toner..compared to other brands the peeling pads are drenched in decent amount of toner and don't dry up during use.

This is like an upgraded version of toner pads in my opinion because it physically exfoliates the skin and the BHA cleans the deeper layers of skin and clear out sebum from the pores

It is advised to use these once a week so that you don't over exfoliate your skin ( I am guilty of that). Another good thing about these is that these dont require a rinse after use

The toner is transparent and has a light weight water like characteristic. It does not feel tacky on the skin. The scent is slightly medicinal / citrusy. I am very impressed with these because they are very different than all the toner pads I have used in the past.

My skin feels so smooth  specially the chin and nose area. It makes my makeup look a lot better too. Another thing that I have noticed is that after using the Celimax Peeling pads. My skincare products like serum/essemce take less time absorbing into the skin. Since its moonsoon weather my face feels sticky and greasy at times. But this removes all the sweat, sunscreen and sebum buildup. The addition of gauze side to the regular toner pads is what makes this a Holy Grail product for me
