[Review] PEACH C Honey Glow Cover Cushion

I reviewed a primer from PEACH C a few months ago. Today I will be reviewing the cushion from the same brand. This is actually a very popular cushion so I was very happy to get this on a discount.

Features:
PEACH C, Honey Glow Cover Cushion claims to have a SPF 50+ PA+++ Brightening, Anti wrinkle , delivers honey-like glow with high coverage and natural beauty.
Available shades are #01 Ivory,  #02 Beige , #03 Sand

The packaging is minimal. A velvet texture peach case with Peach C written in Gold. There is a cute gradient peach puff to apply the puff. One thing worth mentioning here is that this does not come with a refill. But you can purchase it separately if you want for 10$. Overall the is good quality . It feels expensive and well made

I picked this in shade #01 Ivory which is defined as a pink/yellow base foundation. I generally avoid pink based foundation as it doesn't look good on me but since this is yellow based as well I assumed this was neutral tone ??  Thankfully on first swatch this turned out to be good match for my skin tone and color. This smells like peaches. The scent is delicious and very pleasant

This cushion has a semi matte finish. The dewiness is definitely noticeable but thankfully it is not greasy or super shiny. In terms of coverage I find this to be medium coverage. I could still see a few acne scars peeking through but you can definitely use a concealer on top . It does transfer to face mask so to make this last a bit longer I usually set it with translucent powder . Makes this a bit transfer proof.

In terms of lasting power this becomes oily after 5 hrs mark. But if you blot it with a tissue. It looks good and presentable. It is not as long lasting as My Favorite Moonshot Microfit cushion but for short duration events I do reach out for this one as this looks good in pictures. It does give a very pretty glow to the face. I think I will buy a refill of this cushion again in future

PEACH C Honey Glow Cover Cushion can be purchased at Yesstyle.com

Korean Glass Skin : Glowing Primers Comparison + Review

A collective review of some good korean primers that can help you achieve that translucent glowing skin with makeup.

I have oily/ dehydrated skin which leans towards dry side in winters and becomes a crazy oil field in summer . So my face in summer initially looks dewy but as the day goes on it becomes extremely greasy

Today I will be doing a comparison review of three makeup primers that have worked for my skin

VDL Lumilayer primer

I will start with VDL Lumilayer primer. This has been around for the longest time and is without any doubt the best-selling product of VDL . It is described as an illuminating primer with blue and red pigments to give a healthy glow to the face

Quantity 35

Price 15-17$

This is an emulsion but has a bit of that gel like property to it. So it's not deeply moisturizing. The blue and red pigments collectively give icy lavender sheen to the face. The particles are not big or chunky but you can definitely see the shimmer particles.

From my perspective this is a primer that works for all skin types. If you have dry skin then I recommend using an extra layer of moisturizer underneath. The packaging is luxe and beautiful. the bottle is constructed out of glass so it is not travel friendly. I recommend purchasing this from online Stores like Jolse / Yesstyle because you can get it at a really good price

Peach C Peach Glow Makeup Base

This is brand of popular Beauty vlogger from Korea Haneul . This particular primer is designed to smooth out pores and give a peachy glow to the face.

Price: 8$- 14$

Quantity: 35ml

The tube has a beautiful peach gradient effect. Its slim, beautiful and prefect for traveling. The product itself smells of peaches. The texture leans more towards a light weight cream and has a slight peach color to it . It's easy to blend into the skin .

I found this one to a tab bit more moisturizing than the VDL primer. This looks lilac when swatched on the hand/skin but once you apply foundation on top the tinge is replaced with a beautiful glow.

I have noticed that this indeed smooths out the skin and improves the appearance of pores. Usually highlighter and glitters tend to amplify any imperfections but the shimmer particles are really fine so they give a lit from within glow

Heimish Artless Glow Base SPF50+ PA+++

The only primer in today's review that works as a primer and a sunscreen. This is described as a luminous sun base to that gives a naturally glowing skin

Quantity: 40 ml

Price : 15-18 $

The packaging beautiful. This has a luxurious looking rose gold cap. The squeeze tube packaging is very convenient for traveling

Compared to all the other primers that I have mentioned this is very moisturizing to a point that you might call it a bit greasy/oily

This is one of the many reasons I prefer using this in winters under a matte foundation

This gives pearlscent finish to the skin. The shimmer particles reflect the light hence the glowing effect. I nearly out of this primer and despite my oily skin. I have enjoyed using this one a lot. This works as a 2 in product so I can totally skin my sunscreen. There is no white cast and it does not pill under foundation. I love to use this with my VDL Perfect Lasting Foundation. I get a beautiful dewy finish that lasts whole day. If you have dry skin you will be able to use this all year-long. For oily skin gals winter is the best time

So that wraps up my  comparison review. I hope you found this post helpful in some way.

[Review] Peach C Peach Glow Makeup Base

I Initially bought this to support one of my favourite Korean YouTuber / Ulzzang Hanyul but surprisingly this because my favourite base primer for that glass skin

Description:

Its aqua gel texture adheres closely and lightly to skin for a glowing finish. The moisture polymers fill the pores for an even and smooth skin texture.

The airy and fine smart powder offers glowy and natural peachy light finish.
Forms a oil-moisture barrier to keep your skin moisturised.
Contains Peach Extract to prevent skin dryness and protect delicate skin.
Protects skin and maintain oil-water balance with Meadowfoam Seed Oil.

Prevents moisture loss while soothing skin at the same time. Offers anti-aging function and removes skin impurities to keep a healthy radiance with Lychee Extract.

The packaging is a beautiful peach gradient squeeze tube with a nozzle like applicator. Very easy to use and good for travelling

The primer has a faint peach scent and is slightly pink in color. When I spread it on my skin I noticed that there was notable pearlescent sheen on my fingers and hands

The primer is moisturizing without the greasy effect. I have oily/dehydrated skin and I didn't notice any clogged pores or acne after using this. I have been testing out a few glowy primers ( a detailed comparison post in progress ) and this is the lightest of them all.

Though you can see visible pearl particles . On the hand but on the face they give a subtke sheen to the face under the foundation and don't look sparkly
Highlighters and pearl eye shadows are notorious for accentuating pores and texture on the face but this primer despite having pearl like sheen smooths out the base makeup and doesn't make the imperfections more visible or prominent.

Personally I am very impressed with this primer. It is perfect for giving glass like effect to the skin . It is subtly hydrating so it can be used all year long . Plus its very affordable and smells great
