In the scorching heat of summer, finding the right foundation can be a game-changer. That's why I'm excited to share my experience with the heimish - Artless Perfect Cushion, which has seamlessly become my summer essential. As someone who easily tans during these sunny months, this cushion foundation has truly been a revelation.

One of the most frustrating challenges of summer is maintaining a foundation that complements my ever-changing skin tone. However, shade #23 of the heimish - Artless Perfect Cushion has proven to be an impeccable match for my summer-tanned complexion. Its ability to adapt to my skin's undertones is remarkable, resulting in a harmonious blend that looks like a second skin.

A foundation's true test lies in its staying power. This heimish - Artless Perfect Cushion exceeds my expectations, this stays put throughout the day without a hint of fading. I've been pleasantly surprised by how well it manages to withstand the heat and humidity. Plus, the lightweight formula means I can confidently wear it without feeling weighed down or tacky, ensuring a comfortable experience all day long.

The last thing anyone wants during summer is a foundation that clogs pores and leads to unwanted breakouts. I can happily attest that the heimish - Artless Perfect Cushion has caused me no additional breakouts or adverse reactions. It's reassuring to know that while I'm achieving a flawless look, my skin is also being taken care of.

If you're on the hunt for a foundation that offers both coverage and protection, look no further. With high SPF50+ PA+++ sun protection, the heimish cushion prevents skin darkening caused by harsh UV rays. What's more, its buildable light to medium coverage ensures a fresh and radiant appearance without feeling heavy.

In conclusion, the heimish - Artless Perfect Cushion in shade #23 is a summer game-changer. If you're seeking a foundation that embraces your skin's natural beauty while offering protection and coverage, I highly recommend giving this cushion a try. Your summer glow awaits!

[Review] Heimish Bulgarian Rose Tone-up Sunscreen + Artless Glow Base SPF 50+

 Happy New Year 2022 Folks

Today's post is on my two recent discoveries from the brand Heimish . Artless glow base in an old product reformulated and repackaged while the tone up sunscreen is a new launch by the brand

Heimish Bulgarian Rose Tone-up Sunscreen

Now that we all have no choice but to wear mask for obvious reasons, applying a full coverage foundation seems pointless and suffocating (at least for me) so I am gravitating more towards multi tasking sunscreens.

All-in-One Rosy Tone-Up Sunscreen combined with UV protection and tone-up cream. Moisturizing without feeling dryness, natural glow. Fluid sun milk texture adheres to skin thinly, and applies without stickiness and inner dryness. Finish off with healthy skin expression with natural glow!

Apply 30 minutes to sun exposed areas of the face/body before going out in the sun.

Reapply every two hours for the perfect sun protection during the day

I have a finicky skin some days it is breaking out , some days it is dry like a desert and then some days it is churning out sebum like there is no tomorrow. So I have to change product prettty frequently. Toneup creams and sunscreens are pretty drying but this one feels more like a milk. It is very runny and moisturizing at the same time. It has a very prominent pink tinge which makes the skin look bright and fresh.

The rosy scent is very refreshing and pleasant. I use this on its own most of the days but if for some reason I feel like wearing makeup I use this as a primer and its so well together. Despite all the ups and downs in my skin texture. This is something I have been reaching out a lot because it adjust really well go my skincare needs.  Overall I think this product will work well with all skin types.

Heimish Artless Glow Base SPF 50+

This has been my favorite sunscreen and primer and I am so happy to have it back in my routine. I like the new packaging it is slim and I like the gold details on the tube.

A makeup base that adds hydration, sun protection and brightness, the Heimish Glow Base turns skin looking luminous by reflecting light. The weightless and moisturizing texture is easy for smooth and even application, leaving your skin soft and glowing all day. Mild botanical ingredients such as Rosehip fruit, Thyme extract, Origanum Majorana leaf extract, Peppermint extract nourish skin and improve skin’s elasticity. Perfect alone or under makeup. For all skin types.

Sun Care & Wrinkle Reduction

HAs a light and serum type texture that keeps the skin by protecting against UVA and UVB through a strong sunscreen effect.

O/W Droplet System

Forms O/W droplet as water embraces the oil, which naturally provides moisture for soft and glowing skin

Pink Pearl Base

Pearl color formula that bright tones up the complexion to a smooth and even skin tone

In terms of texture it has the same moisturizing base with micro pearls. It does not leave any white cast on the face. I like this more for colder weather because of its intense hydrating properties but for summer I feel this a little to heavy for my oily skin.

This imparts a beautiful lit from with In glow to the face. It works so well under makeup. This just makes my dull skin look lively and healthy. I plan to buy a few backups of this amazing product .

The scent is light floral that dissipates with time. You can mix this with foundation for extra glow . Or wear on its own for a glass skin effect. The micro pearl particles are very fine and can't really different them individually on the face. This is suitable for all skin types but might feel a little heavy for oily skin when the weather is humid and unpleasant.

Heimish Black Tea Mask Pack Review

Reuniting with my favorite brand after a long time. I have been testing this Mask from Heimish for a while and the experience was great. First off I would like to give them 10/10 for the black tea inspired packaging. Secondly this smells like black tea so this makes the sensory experience even more good.

This gel-like mask applies easily and washes off cleanly. Heimish's Black Tea Mask Pack can be used any time during the day -- we particularly like it as a morning mask for its effectiveness to reduce early morning puffiness and to nourish fatigued skin.

The mask has a gel cream like texture which confused me initially. I re-read the whole box to figure out if it was a leave on mask or wash off mask. After extensive reading I was reassured that this was indeed a wash off mask. The box comes with a nice plastic spatula to scoop out a product. I scooped a generous amount to cover my face . The gel was easy to spread. I left the mask on for 20mins overall it felt nice, a little cooling ( perfect for summer). It was easy to wash it off as well. I used luke warm water and it came off easily.

This mask is great for instant boost of hydration and to depuff the face. I have reserved this for days when I am short on time and I need something to make my skin soft and smooth. I haven't noticed much progress with my pores so far. But green tea usually helps a lot with sebum and pores so it is a work in progress.

Heimish became operational in 2016. Its Artless Glow base has won numerous awards.  Heimish focuses mainly on enhancing the natural beauty

Korean Glass Skin : Glowing Primers Comparison + Review

A collective review of some good korean primers that can help you achieve that translucent glowing skin with makeup.

I have oily/ dehydrated skin which leans towards dry side in winters and becomes a crazy oil field in summer . So my face in summer initially looks dewy but as the day goes on it becomes extremely greasy

Today I will be doing a comparison review of three makeup primers that have worked for my skin

VDL Lumilayer primer

I will start with VDL Lumilayer primer. This has been around for the longest time and is without any doubt the best-selling product of VDL . It is described as an illuminating primer with blue and red pigments to give a healthy glow to the face

Quantity 35

Price 15-17$

This is an emulsion but has a bit of that gel like property to it. So it's not deeply moisturizing. The blue and red pigments collectively give icy lavender sheen to the face. The particles are not big or chunky but you can definitely see the shimmer particles.

From my perspective this is a primer that works for all skin types. If you have dry skin then I recommend using an extra layer of moisturizer underneath. The packaging is luxe and beautiful. the bottle is constructed out of glass so it is not travel friendly. I recommend purchasing this from online Stores like Jolse / Yesstyle because you can get it at a really good price

Peach C Peach Glow Makeup Base

This is brand of popular Beauty vlogger from Korea Haneul . This particular primer is designed to smooth out pores and give a peachy glow to the face.

Price: 8$- 14$

Quantity: 35ml

The tube has a beautiful peach gradient effect. Its slim, beautiful and prefect for traveling. The product itself smells of peaches. The texture leans more towards a light weight cream and has a slight peach color to it . It's easy to blend into the skin .

I found this one to a tab bit more moisturizing than the VDL primer. This looks lilac when swatched on the hand/skin but once you apply foundation on top the tinge is replaced with a beautiful glow.

I have noticed that this indeed smooths out the skin and improves the appearance of pores. Usually highlighter and glitters tend to amplify any imperfections but the shimmer particles are really fine so they give a lit from within glow

Heimish Artless Glow Base SPF50+ PA+++

The only primer in today's review that works as a primer and a sunscreen. This is described as a luminous sun base to that gives a naturally glowing skin

Quantity: 40 ml

Price : 15-18 $

The packaging beautiful. This has a luxurious looking rose gold cap. The squeeze tube packaging is very convenient for traveling

Compared to all the other primers that I have mentioned this is very moisturizing to a point that you might call it a bit greasy/oily

This is one of the many reasons I prefer using this in winters under a matte foundation

This gives pearlscent finish to the skin. The shimmer particles reflect the light hence the glowing effect. I nearly out of this primer and despite my oily skin. I have enjoyed using this one a lot. This works as a 2 in product so I can totally skin my sunscreen. There is no white cast and it does not pill under foundation. I love to use this with my VDL Perfect Lasting Foundation. I get a beautiful dewy finish that lasts whole day. If you have dry skin you will be able to use this all year-long. For oily skin gals winter is the best time

So that wraps up my  comparison review. I hope you found this post helpful in some way.

[REVIEW] Heimish All Clean Balm

Even though my favourite type of makeup remover is micellar water I love experimenting with different formulas.
Today I am reviewing (probably one of the most popular) balm cleanser by hemish

I have oily/dehydrated skin so my first reaction to oil based skincare or makeup is  scepticism mixed with fear because ( I break out so easily. Since I heard so many great things about this balm cleanser I was ready to take the risk

Features:

Multi cleansing that will erase the dark makeup clearly

Contains coconut palm fruit extracts and shea butter
Gently melting on face by skin temperature and cleanse vivid makeup and skin impurities

Starting with the packaging, the somewhat giant tub is packed in a box. The leaves printed with gold details is cute. Heimish changed the packaging of this cleanser lately so now it has a flip lid mechanism instead of screw top lid. Personally I find the flip lid design unique and convenient.

Korean skincare brands often include spatula with their products but most of these spatula end up being lost . Thankfully Heimish solved this problem by attaching the spatula to the protective plastic lid

Now technically speaking this should have looked smooth and untouched but weather in my city is very unstable (hot n cold) so this has changed its shape due to increased temperature.

Ingredients:

Ethylhexyl Palmitate, Cetyl Ethylhexanoate, PEG-20 Glyceryl Triisostearate, Polyethylene, PEG-8 Isostearate, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea) Butter, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Fruit Extract, Citrus Aurantifolia (Lime) Fruit Extract, Freesia Refracta Extract, Iris Versicolor Extract, Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Extract, Lilium Tigrinum Extract, Leontopodium Alpinum Extract, Nelumbium Speciosum Flower Extract, Narcissus Pseudo-Narcissus (Daffodil) Flower Extract, Rose Extract, Citrus Aurantium Dulcis (Orange) Peel Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Oil, Pelargonium Graveolens Flower Oil, Amyris Balsamifera Bark Oil, Citrus Paradisi (Grapefruit) Peel Oil, Eucalyptus Globulus Leaf Oil, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil, Juniperus Mexicana Oil, Boswellia Carterii Oil, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia (Bergamot) Fruit Oil, Tocopheryl Acetate, 1, 2-Hexanediol

After reading the directions I scooped out a dime size dollop , rubbed the balm on the palm of my hands to warm it up. And then applied it to my dry face.  What's interesting about this cleanser is this turns to oil when exposed to temperate and turns milky when mixed with water.

I probably massaged my face a little over a minute as the smooth homogenous texture of the balm /now turned into oil (felt good) and then splashed my face with water to get rid of all the melted makeup. The mild citrusy scent felt so refreshing and calming after a long day at college.

Here is what I noticed:
My skin felt soft and moisturized minus the waxy residue. I didn't feel the need to use a second cleanser afterwards but since I like to double cleanse I just followed it up with my regular foam wash. Personally I think this does a really got job at emulsifying tough , stubborn water proof makeup. It melts makeup without  tugging or much effort. Plus the formula feels gentle on eyes. I accidentally got it in my eyes and it didnt blur my vision or cause irritation .

Honestly I am blow away by the performance of this product. This jar of magic holds 120 ml of product . And since a small amount is required every day . You can probably squeeze a few month of uses out of a single tub. This is suitable for all skin types

You can purchase this at jolse for $ 18
